I know how you feel. My husband works nights and it is just me and either one kid or two kids depending on the day. About a year and half ago we had a situation about a block away or 8 houses however you want to look at it. There were 5 people murdered in their home. Ever since then I hate staying at home at night without my DH

OMG, wow, I would be worried too!

So you all might think I am crazy but I have one suitcase about 80% packed and ready to go.

If I wasn't moving in a month, my suitcase would be half packed by now too :lmao:

And Rob thought I was crazy for packing so early, HA!! I think we should take a poll and see how many of us have begun to pack!! :cool1: :lmao:

But that is not the bad party. Each kid has a carry on to take. I have bits and pieces of those packed already. I have the one suitcase. Which I had to do to make room in my closet. I had to take all the kids clothes that I wanted them to take on the trip away from them because they would ruin them before the trip so they have been piled up in my closet for about 2 months now. They kept getting knocked over and crumpled up so I packed them because folded in the suitcase they will get less wrinkled. I have all the clothes for the garmet bag hanging up, just not packed yet.

I do need another one of those check lists of what we all need to accomplish before going. I think I have made some progress on it now.

Where in Arizona do you live? My Sister moved to Scottsdale last year and we visited her last fall. The area she lives in is very nice but extremely over-priced. She has a 7 month old son who is just starting to walk. Her DH decided to be a stay home dad and I really give him a lot of credit for doing it, It is not easy staying home when you are used to working, the stereo-types are such that his boss asked why his wife wasn't;t the one quiting her job. He makes a lot less than her so it made sense. We are trying to convince them to join us next year at WDW for a week, we have DVC, and they are going to London & Greece instead.

My kids are both upstairs and asleep, miracles do happen, and the house is really quiet. I guess I should go to bed, I stayed up until 2 on Sun & Mon reading HP and finished it. I will miss the series but I love to read and know that I will find another author.

Have a nice evening everyone, by the way Kaitie downloaded a virus during our trip if you are getting Spam from us please know that we are not doing it and we have now reformatted our computer and it should stop. If you get any "card" emails that state you have a card from someone don't open it, that is what ate our computer.

Hey Jeff

Wasn't my goal before the cruise to reach 1000 posts?

I think I have passed that by a few

We are in East Mesa, almost Apache Junction. I have lived in Mesa my whole life. My dh is a part-time stay at home dad. Since he works 12 hour shifts at night he only works 3 days one week and 4 days the next, so he is able to stay home with our DD on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then I stay home Thursdays, and she only has to go to daycare on Friday. Works our real nice.

That and he is pretty amazing with her. Before summer started every Tuesday he took her to a baking class, and every Monday was story time at the library and their pizza date. Then he would even try to take her to the zoo about once a month. They even had mall dates and he would bring her in to my work for lunch on Wednesdays. Now that it is summer all that ended but he took her to swim lessons everyday and still brings her for lunch with me.

Thanks for the warning on the virus. Have a good night

Who else is a loser like me and forgot to get up early to try to book Palo?I am so pissed!

I suggest you don't read back.:lmao: Hey it is ok you are not a loser yet. You still have a chance. You could be a loser like me and have to wait until Aug 6th to book and nothing will be left for anything we want to do. :headache:

How are you doing?

Just an FYI

Don't every make a mayo and huney sandwhich and then put it on a paper plate and microwave it for 5 minutes.:scared1:

Ok, I was just on the DCL site and just checked for Palo availability and it said that all the available times are taken.

BUT, no worries, they don't book ALL the times in advance, I believe they leave some open for first time cruisers AND as well for people who don't have internet and can only book onboard!

Just make sure you book onboard as soon as you get on the ship!

Ok, there's just SO much wrong in that sentence! :sad2:

Microwave for FIVE minutes????????????

Ok, for me the person that pretty much eates anything, including Bernie Botts Every Flavoured Beans which unfortunately includes "Vomit" which I got to taste for the first time at our Disney Party on the weekend; even I wouldn't eat that sandwhich, Oi....
So what does that sandwich combo equal:
honey + mayo + Microwave = Pepto Bismol

It is a very hard lesson we learned on Sunday. I went up to wake DH and jump in the shower. I got out the shower and was combing my hair, DH was in the closet and I said "do you smell smoke" Well DD was downstair so of course I go running to the hall and ask "Are you cooking something." As I start smelling more smoke and seeing smoke in the air. I going running down the stairs to her "not anymore mommy I threw it away." As I round the corner she is eating a piece of bread. I don't see anything on fire at that point. So I ask what she was doing. She decided to make her self a sandwhich. She wanted peanut butter and honey but could not find peanut butter so she used mayo. She then wanted it warmed up so she put it on a paper plate and put it in the microwave for 24 minutes, but at 19 minutes she stoped it because it was on fire. Yes she said their were flames. She pulled it out of the microwave with hotpad holders (and put them back in the drawer when she was done with them) put the flames out and threw it all away. So I pulled the plate out and yes it was all black from flames, and the sandwhich was not only burnt but melted together. Our microwave still works but it used to be white inside it is now a gross yellow color, and our house smells of smoke every time we use it.

No it equals FIRE

So I have to ask what is Bernie Botts Every Flavoured Beans.

Ok, anybody else see the reason why Rob edited his post??? :lmao:

When I read it, it said "pepto bismo" :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: For some reason I KEELED over laughing!!!

I was walking around saying "Honey, would you like me to get you some pepto bismo" and then bursting into tears. :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

that's gonna haunt him for the rest of his life :lmao:

Yes I was so proud of her that I did not even think right away about the fact that she was holding this plate that was on fire. Now I have to take her upstairs with me whenever I go up. :confused3
