& since I seem to be on a roll for posting tonight, here's an aside for you from the cruise to see what I do for fun on the weekends.
This is a video one of the crew for us is doing, he's a professional Video Editor/Media Designer and is putting this together for our website.
It's a minute long and is the rough cut so any feedback would be appreciated.
Have a good night! :dance3:

how are things going - sell any houses lately?

do all 4 of you share 1 computer? we have 3 computers at home but only 1 on the Internet. its not bad right now but we are going to have to move to 2 or 3 on the internet soon.

No... we have the desktop and 2 laptops and the blackberry. But it seems that when I want to go on they are all filled except the blackberry and it is hard to use for the boards!!!

I'm trying to sell some more houses. hahahahaha Actually trying to make sure that the two that will close while i am up in Canada will go without a hitch.

Scott here,

Since the DW got off, I am sneaking on to wish her a Happy 7th Anniversary. 7 years ago today she had me the happiest man in the world. As 10:00 ish PM our time I asked her to marry me, and she said YES. Right there on Cinderellas draw bridge. I knew she was special then , and know she is even more each and everyday.
:cheer2: party: :dance3:

Awww.... that is beautiful. What a man!

Scott - you will need to do me a favour and have a talk with my better-half on how to treat a lady....you are so sweet.

I keep hoping that my better-half will propose to be someday -but after 11 years and 2 kids, I am giving up hope.

Jessalynn

They say that on Disney... dreams come true! Besides, we can all in general conversation ask how long you have been married. hahahaha That will open the conversation. Maybe one night we can have conversations about how we were proposed to... Then maybe we all will have to take another cruise to be your wedding party! What a party that would be!!!

It is a very hard lesson we learned on Sunday. I went up to wake DH and jump in the shower. I got out the shower and was combing my hair, DH was in the closet and I said "do you smell smoke" Well DD was downstair so of course I go running to the hall and ask "Are you cooking something." As I start smelling more smoke and seeing smoke in the air. I going running down the stairs to her "not anymore mommy I threw it away." As I round the corner she is eating a piece of bread. I don't see anything on fire at that point. So I ask what she was doing. She decided to make her self a sandwhich. She wanted peanut butter and honey but could not find peanut butter so she used mayo. She then wanted it warmed up so she put it on a paper plate and put it in the microwave for 24 minutes, but at 19 minutes she stoped it because it was on fire. Yes she said their were flames. She pulled it out of the microwave with hotpad holders (and put them back in the drawer when she was done with them) put the flames out and threw it all away. So I pulled the plate out and yes it was all black from flames, and the sandwhich was not only burnt but melted together. Our microwave still works but it used to be white inside it is now a gross yellow color, and our house smells of smoke every time we use it.

Oh...my....
I blew an egg up once in a microwave... ok..twice... cause it did a huge gun pop sound and blew into a trillion little pieces so I did it again to show the kids before I cleaned it all up. But it didn't catch on fire.... no smoke either...

For any first time cruisers

Bring a green apple and one of the table knives back to your room after you eat lunch the first afternoon. Then if you or anyone starts feeling a little sick ~ which often happens right around dinner time when the ship starts rocking ~ they can slice it up and eat it.

Our assistant waiter told us that is what the crew do. My DH started feeling a bit queasy and the apple seemed to help him that first night.

And, even if you don't need it for 'motion' issues, it's a nice snack to have and you can send the knife back on a room-service tray when you're done with it.

That is a great tip. It is also an old wisetale that as long as you keep something in your stomach at all times you won't get seasick... which is why many are sick the first day but never again. hahahaha

If I keep posting I can do a whole page to myself. That will mean what? I talk too much. Would you believe no one has ever told me that before?
:dance3:

I love the tips about deck 10. I think I won't mention that to the boys as they may sit up there to see if it really happens to be an issue. Of course, if you are in need of a good laugh... hahahaha

Does someone have a picture of the fish mail thing itself without the extender? If you have tag bags that have the handles will they clip on the fish mail thingy? There are times when there are no attendants nearby...

My oldest son is quite worried now... he found a room service menu online somewhere and it didn't have chicken fingers listed. He is ready to cancel his trip!

Bear with me here people.. I don't have many posts and I think I am on the bottom of the post chain.

Let's see... what else must I know....

Do walkie talkies work on the ship? Does anyone take those to locate their older children?

The kids have a game of hide and seek in their plans.

My last cruise was a 4 night... we had a show every night. The 7 night has the pirate night one night and couldn't possibly have 6 shows could it?

If we are all getting to the terminal early because of the "L"... is there a waiting area or something? Do we just stand in that line all that time?

I was talking with a past cast member who said if you want to do something nice for a cast person... such as the kids counselors etc... bring them candy. They eat the same food we all eat and have to pay for candy.

It is really hard to think of things to fill a whole page with...

Raise your hand (post) if you have done it.

We did the picture package the last time and could buy pictures on a card as we went along. Then we ended up losing the card and thus, all the remaining pictures left on it. No refund or anything like that as they didn't keep a computer record of it. So this time we decided to go up there and keep stacking all of our pictures behind one so they don't remove it and then on the last day to go in and purchase a package with all of the pictures we intend to get.
