We have Brunch at 10:00 on Sunday. Just hope we get the rotation we requested. Otherwise the Character Breakfast may be that morning. Suz (my DW) has already said she'd skip the Character Breakfast this time. Not sure what DS will say about that.

We have early dinner, so I think we'd be done with the Character Breakfast by the time our Palo brunch is. So maybe we'll just go and have some juice and watch the show.

Cass - nothing like a clean baby is there? They just sort of glow. And they smell so good!

Steve - how are you doing? Nice to hear from you. I know I ask this time to time, but how's the potty training? Do you think she'll make it into the kid's club? My Sammie's doing a good job. Hooray! Now, we just have to get her doing it all by herself. 3 more months, so hopefully we still have some time.

If you get APL, your character breakfast will be on Sunday. It is always the day after you are in Animator's as long as that morning isn't in a port early (KW is not an early dock so they do the breakfast that morning). LAP will be on Monday and PLA will be on Thursday.

If I remember correctly from January, when we had late dinner, the breakfast was at 9:30, so the early diners must be at 8:00 a.m. finishing by 9:00-9:15.

If brunch at Palo isn't until 10:00, you'll have plenty of time to get the kids in the clubs.

If we have our character breakfast that morning, I will just have juice and man the camera that morning. My meal will be in Palo.

*pokes her head in and waves* Hello all! I know I haven't been active, but I wanted to poke my head in and say hi! I haven't forgotten you all and I hope you haven't forgotten us

Wedding planning is going smoothly, the invitations are going out in about 2 weeks so I'll have some downtime then before the month of September Hurray!

We did our reservations for excursions and Palo and spa stuff a little over a week ago... we have the Romance package so we were able to do it 105 days out. I'll have to get out the schedule and see if anyone is going on the same ones we are!

I do miss you guys and I look forward to getting some down time so I can get more active and get to know everyone!

I was able to get a reservation for 4 for Palo on the 2nd night. We got 7 pm so I will try to change it when I get on board to a later time. We prefer to eat around 8:30 or 9 pm. I booked the parasailing at Castaway cay but nothing else yet. We are booking a stingray excursion outside of Disney, we did it last time for 35 per adult and 15 per child and it was great. If anyone want to join us or have the information let me know. Here is the website we use, we used them Feb 2006 and they were great. Disney canceled their excursions due to possible weather, which did not materialize, and we were still able to go because we booked outside of Disney.

We had a horrible rotation last time and hope to get better this time. We had PAL and we would like to have APL. Is there anyway to request a seating rotation. I called earlier to request one and the person, who barely spoke English, did not seem to understand what I was asking for. Please let me know if you were able to request, I know it is only a request not a reservation, and how you did it.

Here's a picture of my Fish Extender. A metal fish is mounted towards the top of your cabin door on the wall next to it. Some cruisers and the staff attach messages, gifts, laundry etc from it. I had a Fish Extender made by another DISer to hold all the goodies you taggers are dropping off at my cabin. Here's a picture of mine Susan.

Ohhh... Very neat indeed. I don't remember these fish at ALL! I must have seen the door at some point... I couldn't have been so tipsy to not have noticed. Do they have them on the Wonder? I asked my kids and they have no clue either. lol Ok.. thanks for showing me. I like yours...Not sure that I will be able to extend my fish.

I think I have read more posts today from everyone than I have in a whole week! Woohoo!!! You can sure feel the excitement in the air!

Both of my sons are now posting on the kids board and even it seems to be picking up a little.

With all of that said, I'm still off to bed. Perhaps I'll dream a Disney dream.

(Also have managed to talk one of the nephews into wearing Pirate clothing... the other is at boot camp right now and I am not able to use my sweet charm on him until next week.) cough cough

Yes, you can request a dining rotation. We do it all the time. Just call the normal DCL number for reservations. They should be able to help you. We had APL last cruise and it was great. PLA would be our second request.

What didn't you like about PLA? Or did you have LAP? I know I wouldn't want LAP.

If you get someone you don't like dealing with, hang up and call again. We de all the time. If you went through an agent, however, you will have to have them call.

Actually Karen put the request in for PLA to get the 5:45 time. We just went with her wishes since it was her first cruise. This is #5, so it doesn't matter much to us. We actually had a request in for APL but switched to link up with her.

If Karen is o.k. with an APL (5:30 dinner), then we're fine with switching it. I didn't want to change her request on her. If most of the group wants APL, PM Karen and ask if she is fine with 5:30.

I personally love APL on the late rotation, but Suz wants early. Don't know why, DS won't eat that early unless we don't give him lunch. Most lunch venues don't open until 11:00-11:30, so unless you eat breakfast by 7:00 each morning, you're not hungry that early. Then if you eat lunch at a normal time (i.e. 1:00), you're not hungry at 5:30. But Suz wears the pants when it comes to the dining time decision. Thank goodness we were stuck with late this past January. It worked perfect and she knew it. Still, she doesn't like eating that late. I can't win.

Leah is doing better. She will ask to urinate, but still has accidents the other way. We figure that if we're still having problems by cruise time, then we will only put her in the club after she has done her business. I told my wife to make sure that she is handling everything herself now, so that she will be self-sufficient in the clubs. Good luck with Sammie, sounds like you're very close.

Has anyone checked October Park hours lately?? Boy did they ever change some of those hours. There's one Saturday that MK is open until midnight and TWO Saturdays that it's open until 1 am!! They must be anticipating crowds maybe??

Honestly, I don't care what we get, it's all the same to me. I originally had booked late dining thinking that we would feed Kira early (maybe at the buffet or something) and then put her in Flounders and enjoy our dinner but then I realized that my niece and nephew would probably be super hungry come 8 or 8:30 and that it was way too late for them, so I switched it to early.
