Good morning to our sleepy little thread.

Robin: Glad to see your brother woke up and that things seem a little better for you. What did you and Cassie do all last week? Fun stuff I hope!

The poor kid spent a couple of day getting caught up on Dr.'s appt. She doesn't come home very often.

I still had to work, but we hung out when we could. She met some friends and had lunch with this 80 year old friend that thinks of her as his grandaughter. He made here brownies. She just loves old people.

She got her hair cut. She said she was just going to get it shaped, but at the last minute saw a pic in a book and changed her mind.
After she was done, I get a call at work about 4:30 with her whining...

"Mom... you have to come home and fix my hair. I look like Carol Brady."

I said why would you make such a rash decision? She said, "I liked the picture of it. She just didn't cut it right."

I fixed it and it looks fine now.

It was great just sitting around talking. Mike calls us Loreli and Rory (The Gilmore Girls)

Florida was great, very very hot but great.
F.I.T. was great too.
Animal Kingdom was great and
so was Epcot!

Back to reality....back to work

OK so I thinking that I will buy by MNSSHHP tickets soon as I am a worry wart and I am afraid they will sell out on Thursday October 18th.

I have been to the Disney world web site and it will cost $280 USD for the 6 tickets (my Mother will come with the 5 of us as she lives in Florida for the winter and will pick us up at the airport and take us to WDW).

Is there a better way to get the tickets that might save a few bucks or basically I just have to bite the bullet and buy them online?

Missy & Lori - Great news on the MNSSHP! Glad it all worked out for you!

Did a bit of shopping this evening. Grabbed 2 of the new Studio Collection shirts from the Disney Store for our girls. Ariel for Katie, and Jasmine for Sammie. The shirts are well made, and the fabric is so soft. Very nice.

Not much else to add, just wanted to stop by and say hi!

Good evening everyone!!!

Just touching base between swim lessons, baseball practice and bath time!

Just wanted to share a quick story with ya'll. Lori and I and are families are huge fans of the MNSSHP and were very disappointed that we were not going to be able to go this year (as Friday, October 19th is the only Friday they are not having it!!! ) Anyway.....because we were suffering so.....withdrawals and all.......we actually called the airline to see how expensive it would be to change our flights on Thursday to an earlier time (so that we could possibly make the thursday night party). Well, of course it was a ridiculous $100.00 per person charge to make a change....mind you, only a time change....... Needless to say, we forgot all about that. No MNSSHP for us this year......

But wait........I get to work this a.m. and there is an urgent message in my mailbox from Expedia.com about our flight???? WHAAAAA????? So I call them and they say "I'm sorry Mrs. Medley but your flight has been cancelled. To accommodate this we would like to move you to another flight on the same day!!!!!!!" Naturally, I'm doing the happy dance all over my office...........I'm getting my flight moved up earlier in the day for FREEEEEEEEE!!!!! So, in the end, all 11 of us got our flight changed to arrive in Orlando at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 18th!!!! And needless to say, our MNSSHP tickets have been ordered and should be arriving in the mail in 7-10 days!!!!!!!

How cool is that!!! I told Lori that someone was watching out for us and wanted us to be able to take the kids to the party!!!!!!WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR...................................................................

Good Morning everyone....

Looks like it was a very quiet night... was there something great on TV last night?

I don't even know if it is still there or not, but my favorite Disney restaurant was the one that was in the Pirates of the Carribean at Disneyland. It could be only that it was the first real restaurant I remember going to at Disney and it seemed so neat to be sitting there when the ride was going past me and I knew that they were wondering who was eating there. I can't even recall the food. But it was magical to me.
