I'm Tyler the oldest son of momsof2boys.......
to answer the question she is not on the top of my favorite people list....we don't ignore her though ..we give her the respect she deserves as an adult...but thats about it. My brother tends to like her more than i do, but not by much.

Tyler - nice to meet you. Good answer as you are right, Adults deserve a certain amount of respect, especially if she is the wife of your father.

So what are you looking forward to the most on teh cruise? My 14 year old is curious as she thinks of Disney as a place for little kids.

Ok, guys I know I'm still talking old news and old replies to postings...

Sorry, I just want to catch up on some stuff.

Told Bob I had over 60 pages to catch up on... but that I had to still unpack and clean house, etc, etc.... and that I most certainly wouldn't DIS all day and try to catch up all at once.

Thanks Missy... The funny thing about it all is Mom doesn't think she has a problem because she doesn't remember anything she does. That's why she keeps saying "We're fine".

My sister & older brother want me to tell Claude that if he doesn't do something we're taking him to court or calling The Senior protection agency. I told my sister last night... "Listen, Why am I always the one that has to straighten Claude out. You guys have mouths. I'm not taking that responsibility any more. Besides Claude is mad at me already. He's surely not going to listen to me. I'm done. You guys talk to him and I will support you all the way".

So, I actually feel a little free now. Mike and I are going to take a little weekend trip to Niagara Falls in a couple of weeks. I'm tired and I can't be constantly be thinking about this. It's up to my brother & sister now.

From now on I'm going to enjoy the anticipation of our cruise and finally get back in to my excercise. I've been abusing myself too much. Thanks for everyone's support. We really appreciate it.

What's Zucchini bread. Has it got anything to do with Courgettes?

I guess I should have googled Courgettes first before responding. I can't compare it until I do. But, zucchini bread is similar to banana bread (without the bananas). It's more cake like and we bake it in loaf pans to look like bread. The chocolate has chopped walnuts and chocolate chips on the top of it. Very yummy!!!

Avery is off to her first week of Summer Camp - its called Camp Capers. Its really an intro to day camping. They play sports, do crafts, have theme days (like tomorrow is Pajama Day and Friday is Hawaii Day). It will be a lot of fun - she goes to school full time so she will adjust quickly but most schools are only half-day at her age so those kids sometimes have trouble adjusting to being away from home all-day. Spencer was nice enough to go to this specific camp for one week to help her adjust. But in the future he will go to camps like Golf Camp and Soccer Camp while she will stay back at Camp Capers.

I wish I could go to camp!

I wish we had camp. The only kind of camp we have is one week church camp for the older kids but we could not afford it this year and then the ex would have to approve it also.

Good evening everyone!!!

Just touching base between swim lessons, baseball practice and bath time!

Just wanted to share a quick story with ya'll. Lori and I and are families are huge fans of the MNSSHP and were very disappointed that we were not going to be able to go this year (as Friday, October 19th is the only Friday they are not having it!!! ) Anyway.....because we were suffering so.....withdrawals and all.......we actually called the airline to see how expensive it would be to change our flights on Thursday to an earlier time (so that we could possibly make the thursday night party). Well, of course it was a ridiculous $100.00 per person charge to make a change....mind you, only a time change....... Needless to say, we forgot all about that. No MNSSHP for us this year......

But wait........I get to work this a.m. and there is an urgent message in my mailbox from Expedia.com about our flight???? WHAAAAA????? So I call them and they say "I'm sorry Mrs. Medley but your flight has been cancelled. To accommodate this we would like to move you to another flight on the same day!!!!!!!" Naturally, I'm doing the happy dance all over my office...........I'm getting my flight moved up earlier in the day for FREEEEEEEEE!!!!! So, in the end, all 11 of us got our flight changed to arrive in Orlando at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday Oct. 18th!!!! And needless to say, our MNSSHP tickets have been ordered and should be arriving in the mail in 7-10 days!!!!!!!

How cool is that!!! I told Lori that someone was watching out for us and wanted us to be able to take the kids to the party!!!!!!WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR...................................................................

That is such awesome news - we are doing the same thing, we were going to fly in on Friday and then I heard about the Halloween Party and we changed our flights too - we are flying in at 3pm on Thursday and heading to WDW - yeah - we will be right behind you in line!!

yeah, we had a great time. She had to leave a day early, (thursday). She had a reception for graduation to go to on Fri. Her boyfriend was graduating.
