Susan,
I was thinking of doing that small Mayan ruin thingie too. Tulum is just too much for our 5 year old, but I think our 10 year old would love to see some ruins. He has said for years that he wants to be a geologist. I know it's not the same thing, but he loves science and history. The small Mayan ruin tour does NOT get good reviews in the Passporter, so I'm not sure what to do.
I have heard that the larger ruins in mainland Mexico were very long, hot, and boring for kids. I don't think that ruins are great excitement for kids but it does give them a taste of it. I'll have my 11 year old with me on it too so at least the kids could talk on the ride. Then there is a beach thing afterwards... isn't that the neat beach with the water trampeline?

Cable is up and running. I am so excited. I have been on about 30 minutes now and I have gone to Netzero to try to disconnect service. Couldn't do it because their system is down. I have gone to my bank site and balance my check book, I have checked my email, and gone to the dis cruise site just to see how long it took to load. I am so productive now.
CONGRATS CARRIE!!!
Really I do my best, just ask cinnamike.
