I looked at 9 DSL providers and they all say that DSL is unavailable in my area. I then googled and yahooed cable and wouldn't you know it the only there are a few that will work once I have cable service, internet. So I am assuming that they are just like yahoo, hotmail and things like that, that you can use after you are connected. I will investigate Cox a little more and see what I can come up with. If I can get a smoking deal through them then I will do it before the cruise. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Has anyone heard from Cheryl recently. I don't think I have seen any posts from her in a long while.

You are amazing. I can not beleive how tallented you are. We started watching the first DVD before Scott left for work, but he had to leave in the middle so he asked if him and I could have a date night tomorrow night in front of the tv so we could watch the whole thing together. Mackenzie loves it. It is funny durning the cruise part she yells out hello to all the characters. But durning WDW she yells out to Rob and you every time she sees one of you. So when the video ended she asked "mommy why did Rob and Cass not say hi back to me." I promised Scott that I would wait to watch the second one with him. So we will watch it tomorrow night.

It is weird to say. I know that we have friends on this site, and it is so hard to believe because all we do it talk and look a pics. But after watching the video I feel like I really know you guys and it has made me look forward to the cruise that much more.

As this is my first cruise - i believe I have to wait a while still - is that true? I thought it was early August I could do stuff.

I believe the trip also has to be paid in full - is that right?

What is it that you can book?

What 2 excursions were you going for on Grand Cayman? We are looking at the Pirate Excursion and the Island Tour which there is about an 1 hour in between those as well. That will change our plans if DCL finds that to be too close.

Hi Jeff, I just pm'd you. We're looking at the Island Tour too, as well as the Seaworld Explorer. Since we're doing the Butterfly Conservatory in Key West, we'd prefer not to do the Island Tour w/ the Butterfly Farm on Cayman too. But, we may have to if we want to stick with DCL excursions. Gonna have to work on this one a bit more. DCL wouldn't allow me to book with just an hour open between tours. Maybe we have to tender back to the ship for the next excursion, who knows.

What is it that you can book?

There's a window of opportunity to do this:

Concierge guests - 105 days out (also guests booked on a romance package)
Past guests - 90 days out
1st timers - 75 days out

And yes, you have to be paid in full. Make sure, if you book thru a travel agent, that you pay them earlier than your due date. That way they can get the money to DCL in time for your booking date.

You can book Palo and spa reservations, shore excursions, register kids for the clubs, and the online registration.

After 3 hours researching today and an hour discuss with DH I think we have agreed on a few things for Castaway. We are going to try to get the parasailing as long as it is not booked before we get the chance to book. The is the definate one we are trying for. If that falls through then we would get a paddle boat, or the banana boat. That is just the 2 of us. He is also going to take the older kids snorkeling we think. Unless there is a better deal some where else. That will leave me to take Mackenzie on a glass bottom boat tour sometime while we are away.

People in Concierge (Cats 1-3) and those who have booked the REAS package (I think it stands for Romantic Escape At Sea) can book at 105 days, which was this morning.

People who are returning cruisers (Castaway Club Members - automatic after your first cruise) can book at 90 days. That would be the morning of July 22nd.

Lastly would be the first time cruisers. They can book at 75 days. I believe that would be August 6th.

The bookings come available at 12:00 a.m. on that day. Since I live in the Central time zone, I am able to book at 2:00 a.m.

I am an easy person to read, so if anyone runs across me and sees that I am really stressed out just steal me from who ever I am with and put me on a bar stool somewhere. I have a hard time walking away from things when I get to stressed but if someone pulls me away I am perfectly fine with it.

I think we also got Key West figured out. We have decided to do this one all on our own. We want to go to Southern Most Point (just for the pic op) Then DH wants to go to the lighthouse, and I want to go to the blonde giraffe (sp)

Awww. Sorry to hear Kira isn't feeling well. Poor baby. I feel bad. There's nothing worse than a sick baby.


We're back from Dayton. (Cassie's home.) Now we can do our happy dance. (tradition) When I was in Cincinnati with my boss a couple of weeks ago, Cassie came to the Hilton and stayed over night with me. We always do our happy dance when we see each other. I think my boss thought we were crazy. (at least until she saw how goofy we are when we're together.) I'll have to tell everyone what happened at the rest area on our way home from Florida one year. (it's a little disgusting, but funny)

Yeah, I guess after watching all those videos, you get know us a little bit...moreso Rob I guess since I am the videographer. I rarely let him have the camera because I know EXACTLY what footage I want and I would smack him if he didn't get what I wanted control freak much?

Besides, since I am the editor, I need to know all the footage before I start to put the videos together
