hey di.. did walt already have that bike or just get it recently.:thumbsup2
do you ride with him?:scared:

Walt bought the bike in May. He had another bike around 20 years ago. Yes I do ride with him every weekend. We have lots of fun and we see beautiful places in Texas.

Here goes...

My brother works afternoon turn. I work 8 to 5. My sister works 8 to 6:30. I told my brother tonight that we needed to get some help (private duty nurse) because I can't do this every other night. It's easier for him... he lives there... he's already home. By the time I get home, take a shower and get into bed... it's 1 AM. Then I have to get up at 6:30 to go to work and forget about excercising in the morning.

He got a little upset and said "So you expect me to get someone in here for 9 hrs a day" I said Yes. Unless you can get the neighbor lady to take the job for a few hrs a day and we pay her.

He thinks we should give up our lives and families for this. I don't mind helping but we're all going to be sick if we keep up this pace.

What do you think?

Robin

scott you are killing me dude:eek: first i made dinner. later i gave robin a massage and now im going to have to brush her hair just to keep up with you.:headache: slow down guy...you are making me look bad:guilty:

Yah but his dear, sweet, loving wife appreciates every minute of it. Don't you dare ask him to slow down. :) I only get it 3 nights one week and 4 the other so he has to make up for all the other nights.

I think you are doing the right thing getting help. If you get worn out you wont be any good for your parents. How is your grandbaby. How old is she. Do you get to see her often. My grandkids keep me busy every day. We go somewhere. (Sea World, Zoo, Fiesta Texas, swimming or another tourist attraction, movies. They like to go just like their grandmother. We are going to Massachusetts next week for a week to see my parents. Better go see them while they are in decent health. talk to you tomorrow. diane

Thanks for the advice.
Addison is now 10 mos. and climbing stairs and standing up. We usually see her once a week. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Talk to you then.

Time for bed. I'm beat.

Here's a question, how many of you plan on using the Secret Deck 7 sun deck?

If so, will it be a daily thing for you?

How long do you plan on staying there?

What time of day do you plan on using it?

We do. I hope it will be a daily thing for us, or maybe nightly to look at the stars, depending on if there is music piped up there even maybe some dancing. Who knows how long we plan on staying.

So why so many questions about it?

What theme nights will you be attending in the night clubs?

Anyone like going to Sessions (the jazz bar)?

Who's up for an Adult DIS Meet in one of the clubs (I know we already have the wine tasting/DIS meet)?

We are up to an adult meet in the clubs

I thought of a couple more questions:

What is our favorite restaurant menu (AP, PC, or L when you are on the rotational menu)?

If this is your first time, which one are you looking forward to?

Which is your favorite Theme night (Master Chef, Pirate, Captain's Gala, or Till We Meet Again)?

Again, for first timers, which one are you looking forward to?

Ok so we are a first timer. I would have to say the kids and Scott are looking forward to AP. I am looking forward to all of them since I have never done the rotational thing before.

As for nights it is a toss up for me. Master Chec and Captain's Gala, I think the rest of the family is for Pirate night.

We like 80s night too. Gary Delaney has been on the past few for us too. But I like having the adult time with Scott on a "date" while the kids are happy in the club. We don't go out here at home so we try to take advantage of vacation.

We are the exact same way. We are lucky to go out maybe 2 to 3 times a year without the kids. I am hoping to never see the kids on this trip and have a full 7 days of just us. :rotfl: I know fat chance but it is a good thought. DH still likes the idea of AFEG being the full time sitter when the kids don't want to go to the groups and we don't want them around, so everyone needs to take the kids to AFEG's room for him to watch them.

Hi Scott!!! Sorry to be so deceiving but Alex is a girl. As long as he don't mind hanging out with a girl then we are golden. She LOVES basketball. We are also traveling with Missy and Mike and they have a DS that will be 9 1/2. Alex and him play together all the time.

Leave it to my DH to get this one mixed up. :lmao: Kyle would be happy to hang out with anyone that is close to his age besides his sister. Plus I think Kyle needs a good challenge by a girl in basketball.

My DS, Bryce will be turning 12 next week, lucky 7/11. He doesn't mind hanging w/girls as long as they are not his DSister(just kidding)(well maybe not really) He's just glad to have someone close to his age to hang around with.

That is great we will tell our DS

PS Scott promises not to mix up the sex of anymore kids while on this trip.

Yeah, you can definitely do 2 vacations for the price of one of those. Maybe one day but not while the kids are little. I keep thinking that once they are grown we will automatically become rich!!! Yeah right, then its paying off college, the weddings, vacations with grandkids..........

Who says we have to pay for all that stuff. Once they hit 18 we are done, we have allready told the kids to find grants, or loans for college, and the girls are to marry rich guys that will pay for the wedding themselves. We will buy the a cruise for their honeymoon. Other then that the money is all ours. :lmao:

we will not be going to see fireworks. we have a policy here...its either disney fireworks or nothing at all.:wizard:

I am the same way. Rob wants to see all the fireworks here and I'm like, nnneehhhh...but they aren't DISNEY fireworks!!! :rotfl: Friday is the start of the Calgary Stampede, where we get like a million freakin visitors and they have fireworks every night for 11 days and normally we go down and watch them but I told him that I want Kira's first fireworks to be DISNEY fireworks ;) And looking at my itinerary...if she can stay awake, looks like Wishes will be her first :woohoo:

counting on kira being a good luck charmprincess:

That would be awesome, but she will be in Flounders :rolleyes1 The streak may continue

Glad we are not the only freaks!!!! I have found out on this thread that we are much more normal that we thought!!! (or everyone here is also crazy)

I think the latter may apply :lmao:

And Happy 4th of July to everyone (except you Canadians :rotfl: ). Sorry to leave you out Cass (and Jessalynn).

That's ok, we had our day on Sunday, it's only fair that you guys get your day :upsidedow

Sounds good Carrie!!! There's lotsa room for Kira to wander about in that suite!!! :dance3:

OMG, it's VERY difficult to do an hour on the elliptical when it is 29º C in the house!!! :scared:

I don't know how I got through that one! :sad2:
