O.K., most of us are less than 3 weeks away from online bookings (Chris is this Saturday).

What are your priority items to book (Palo, a certain excursion, etc)?
Palo brunch and a Palo dinner
and parasailing on Castaway Cay

What Palo meals are you going for? Which day if brunch? Which night if dinner?
Sunday for brunch.. not sure what night for dinner, anyone want to go with?
What's the best night?

Who plans on re-booking another cruise at the first opportunity?Probably not us

Who's waiting until near the end?

Who never wants to go on another Disney cruise?I want to go all the time! But Bob hasn't ever been on one...right now he's saying it's too expensive, he'd rather spend that kind of money traveling around Europe, but we'll see if he changes his mind once he's tried cruising

Who's sick of me asking all these questions?
I love questions! I answer them all too, honestly...but be careful what you ask as this is a FAMILY thread:rolleyes1

Does anyone have any favorite shows they HAVE to see on board?Love the Golden Mickeys!
Hated Hercules, glad it's gone

Anyone planning on skipping any shows?
We'll see them all because Bob hasn't seen any and my son missed The Golden Mickey's

We didn't get into Twiced Charmed (only Suz and I went to that one).

We haven't done the shows since our first cruise and it was just before DS was turning 5. Now that he will be over 7 1/2 y.o., I want to go again. He is really into music/musicals now - ever since he started playing the piano.

Still not sure if we'll hit TC.

My girls love anything Cinderella!!!!! She could sit on the stage and just read the phone book and they would want to see it again!!!!!!!:lmao:

Even though we're no longer cruising, Jay and I love Sessions - it's so quiet and relaxing back there before dinner. We would go and listen to the piano player and have a martini - the bartender always gave us little plates of yummies to nibble on, too.

We never stay if anyone is smoking, though. It's too small back there to be able to breathe comfortablly if someone starts smoking.

Hi Brenda.

We usually go later in the night after the show and before DS is ready to leave the club (usually waiting for him). We sit, have a drink or two, and relax listening to the music. Then, when they open up the snack buffet, it is time to leave. Nibble on a couple of things ourselves and then take some cheese for DS to eat when we pick him up.

We also did not like Hercules. We are glad it is gone!!!!!

We like to watch the comedians adult shows. We also had fun at 70s night!!!!

I'm not a big fan of Sessions.
I will attend all DIS meets!!!!! If you guys won't run away from one of the VD girls.

I'm more of an 80's night person, but Suz is in to both and loves the disco music.

We've had the same comedian the last couple of cruises, Gary Delana (sp?), so I don't think we'd go to see him again, but Suz may think differently.

I think a 70's or 80's DIS Meet would be fun. The only drawback is that the parties usually start so late.

What theme nights will you be attending in the night clubs?

Bob might want to try a few, he defintetly said he want to be one of The Village People on 70's night

Anyone like going to Sessions (the jazz bar)?Sounds great! Never went but I'm game!

Who's up for an Adult DIS Meet in one of the clubs (I know we already have the wine tasting/DIS meet)?
:thumbsup2 We're in, just don't make the meeting on that secret deck:scared1:

scott you are killing me dude:eek: first i made dinner. later i gave robin a massage and now im going to have to brush her hair just to keep up with you.:headache: slow down guy...you are making me look bad:guilty:

Scott here, At least you make dinner, I am still learning that part. Noone appreciates my cajun style of cooking (blackend and spicy). I am getting better though.:rotfl:

We love animators palate!!!!!!!!!!!
Pirate night of course!!!!!!pirate: pirate:

Are chosing AP because of the show?

I was talking about the menus.

My favorite rotational menu based on choices would be PC, then L, then AP.

However, for deserts, L has the best options.

We like 80s night too. Gary Delaney has been on the past few for us too. But I like having the adult time with Scott on a "date" while the kids are happy in the club. We don't go out here at home so we try to take advantage of vacation.

Well then I will knock you down to be first in line to rebook. We want to do a double dip in 2009. Harrison will be 4 then and a perfect age for his first cruise.:cool1:

Which DD are you looking at booking?

If it goes as I calculated, we will be going for the Oct 24, 2009 DD. Not sure if 2009 will be out by the time we go this October. The Wonder turns 10 years old in 2009 and they may hold "hostage" the Magic's itins until they sort out any special cruises for the Wonder.

I think we will be booking a dummy date when we sail.

Yeah I was choosing it based on the show. As you read earlier I only get one thing. I will be a little more adverturous with desserts.

Wow this thread is hopping now.

See what happens when we talk about the cruise?

We also want to go in October. It is a great time to cruise. It seems to be an easier time for the kids to miss school. Not too close to major Holidays. Maybe we will be chatting again in 2009. Not that i don't plan on maintaining all friendships made here after the cruise.

How do you know when your character breakfast is? I think ours has always been of Thur. I think we have always had PAL rotation or PLA. I know it is Parrot Cay first.

It is always the morning after you were in AP. However, you need to be at sea, or as in the Western's case, not going ashore until late (i.e. Key West).

If you start in PC, you are on the PLA rotation. Since your night in AP is on Monday, you have an island on Tuesday. You will therefore slide to Thursday morning for your Character Breakfast.

We have a request in for PLA, but if we get stuck with APL, we will not do the Character Breakfast.

APL would be on Sunday.

LAP would be on Monday.

I told you before, when you set a goal for us we are a bunch of determined people. I also have to catch up with Missy. She is beating me bad now!!!!!!

Scott here, Just trying to play catchup, But I wanted to catch Lori before she got off. I was looking on the kids thread and saw that Alex was looking for someone his age. I told our DS about it and he was finally glad that someone his age (11) was going. Let alone a boy to hang out with. Hopefully they can meet up quickly on the first day. Just wanted to know if you could pass that on to Alex. Klye likes all sports also, I think he is going to be a sporstcaster when he grows up.:rotfl:

Hi Scott!!! Sorry to be so deceiving but Alex is a girl. As long as he don't mind hanging out with a girl then we are golden. She LOVES basketball. We are also traveling with Missy and Mike and they have a DS that will be 9 1/2. Alex and him play together all the time.

The cajun & spicier the better, but I have to tone it down for DD & DH, they don't like it quite as spicy as I & DS. You could cook for me & I bet it wouldn't be too spicy.

What is the best time to go parasailing at CC? Alex wants to do that so I need to make sure I get that.
