As I was reading your posts I realized that I was reading them with your accent...(not done well by any means). Isn't that the weirdest thing? I was not even aware of it at first.

I suspect my "australian" accent maybe something you'd want to lose at the first convenient moment after gaining it Susan..:rolleyes1 ....:rotfl2:

I didn't say it was anywhere close to "gaining it". LOL I love the accent though. I have a friend who is South African and after an hour or so I talk just like her. (Probably only in MY mind...lolol) Now we had two Irish exchange students and I never got that one... the kids did, and when my son came home from his summer trip to Ireland there with a bit of it.

A few tips for when traveling over here...

Ireland = Use plenty of "to be sure to be sure"
Scotland=Use plenty "tiss" and "I's"
Wales=Use plenty of "is ain't it" and "wasn't it"
England=Hmm where do i start? we all speak so beautifully..:rolleyes1

Susan one of the above is a very large lie....sorry...:)

LOL I did notice the Irish were "fond" of a few choice cuss words. LOL And the words proper and dear came up often.

I haven't traveled over there but I will one day. Probably not until Disney takes me there...hahahaha Just kidding. I finally got my passport... it was a nightmare.

Well I had better go into the office for a while. Don't want them to give my desk away or anything. I'll try to pop on later so I am not 10 pages behind at dinner time.

And here's my sweet Cabo San Lucas!

Who's the naked person in the reflection of the sunglasses? :scared1: :rotfl2:

Just kidding. Does anyone remember the guy who took a picture of a tea kettle (or something like that) to put up on Ebay? You could see the reflection of him in the kettle. He was naked - and didn't look good. :rotfl:

That is helpful. Thank you.

Don't worry Susan, I've been on this board for almost a year and I still don't remember all the names.

Note to everyone, if I call you the wrong name, just nod your head and smile. It will give you practice for when you meet the UKers and can't understand them. :lmao:

The pool sounds heavenly!! The boys would love to have one but unfortunately our home owners association will not allow any above ground pools......STUPID!!!!! (I'm actually surprised at myself......I usually buck stupid rules like this........;) )

Have fun at Harry Potter tonight!!! I'm soooooo jealous!!! PM me at let me know how it was and how Spencer liked it and handle things!;) Cody is really excited..........a little upset that we have to wait until Saturday.....but still very excited!!! This should give them something to e-mail each other about over the weekend!!:thumbsup2

The word today from people who saw the midnight showing of HP is that its VERY DARK and it stays true to the book. Comments are made that parents who think its just a nice little story about a Wizard will not like it. But those people are obviously not True HP fans.

Yes i am still reading way, way back... How early can we board?

Boarding starts at Noon but you can get into the Building to get your boarding number and fill otu forms around 10am. So if you arrive at noon you may not get on until 1pm or so. Arrive early, get on early - the fun thing about getting on the ship early is tht the pools are open and wont be crowded

Why? We never have. :lmao:

You see Jeff someone with thinner skin than i may take offence at that, but don't worry sir NOT I.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Y'all have a great day...:)

I need to call to book things and just feel like I am not sure which to book and do we want to book things or go on our own. Like with Palo... not sure what night to book so we don't miss too much... and is brunch or tea worth booking....

Susan,

I am one that promotes Tuesday night as the best night to go to Palo for dinner. You just went through all the restaurants once (and the show in AP is only the first night if that is the restaurant you had on Sat), Pirate Night is Wed, Semi-Formal/Captain's Gala is Thur, and the last night with your tablemates and servers is Friday (which will be your 3rd time in the restaurant you skipped on Tues). Plus, I personally don't like the menu on Tues - Master Chef.

Brunch is excellent. You get more than just breakfast stuff. They have some special meat dishes as well. I like a couple of different things from their offerings and asked if I could do my own dish. They accomodated and when the people around me saw what I had, they wanted to order it that way as well.

We did Tea once. Suz drinks tea, I don't. I went with so she wasn't alone. I didn't care much for the food/snacks they served, but Suz liked it. We probably won't do tea again. But, if the ladies get a tea together, Suz may join you.

Hope that helps.

BTW, we have skipped Palo dinner the last cruise and won't be booking it again this time either. Even though it is great, the experience seems to be the same everytime. Suz just wants to eat in the restaurants instead. We may go to Topsiders on Tuesday to try that out (they do a modified sit down I believe now in the evenings).

What's with the $2.03? :confused3

Jeff the Exchange rate went to almost $2 for £1 today looks like the day of the green back could be numbered...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The chart says it hit $2.0366 at one point today if you were to go into a high street bank over here you'd get about $1.98/1.99 for one £....Happy days for us coming over there not so for the MED CRUISERS Coming over here....
