How does everyone know what time they are getting in and what airline they have. Our TA says she will not know any of that until 30 days prior. I would really like to know what time we have to be at our airport.

We booked our air on our own. Saves a ton of $$ over booking through DCL. I think they wanted $400-$500 per person which will cost around $200 anytime MKE-MCO. Not sure what the justification is for the extra $200-$300.

We book ours online just the other day. (Nothing like waiting around) We've been watching fares for about 6 months. No real good deals. Now that we booked, I'm sure they'll go down.


We're flying in on Fri. the 19th about 12:30 PM (If I remember right). Haven't decided where we're staying yet... Disney or a hotel near port. We're leaning toward the port. I think the prices went up in the last couple of months.

We are going to Niagra Falls at the end of the month.. just a couple of days as my youngest finally got his passport and he is dying to use it! Besides that, it is a short getaway from the week of family visit.. they love to see the kids but it is a lot of the grandparents. (shhh... plus it is a farm.. no shopping, no internet, no wal-mart for miles even... so it is for me too... Mary is the farmgirl.. i'm the city girl.)

I do hope the trip helps you to relax a little... that is a lot of stress.

Good for you guys, you need to get away for a bit and just enjoy life! I would love to take Rob to Niagara Falls one day, he's never seen it. I kinda wish we lived down east, there's so many more places to see and things to do there within a few hours drive. Out here there is squat other than the Rockies, which after 25 years can be a little monotonous I guess. We need THEME PARKS BABY!!!! One day we will make it to Cedar Point! Kira had better be a thrill ride junkie like her parents


Jeff, I fixed the countdown for a noon boarding, the problem was that I had it set to noon EST, forgot about DST!

There is quite a lot to do in the east. Cedar point is about 1 hr 45 min. away. I haven't been there since I was 13. That's always the way it is. You take it for granted when you live so close. We used to be only about 45 min. from Sea World, but they closed it several years ago. We went there every year.

We don't go to Cedar Point because once you've gone to Disney World, nothing else ever measures up. Much like fireworks.

When we looking at booking it was $357 a person not including the taxes and it was 2 lay overs. With my health the way it was a year ago, and my father being a royal pain when he travels, we decided the 2 lay overs (which both time we had to switch plans) was not worth it specally with the kids. Disney gaurenteed us one stop and switch and said that even it the price of tickets goes above and beyond what they charge, we will not have to pay the extra. Since we are using DCL air then our transfers from airport to hotel, and hotel to port, port back to airport are all included. I tried to talk my parents out of this saying we could do it cheaper but they would have nothing to do with it. So in turn we are paying $500.20 a person for that.

When I go on the boards, the icon animations don't work. They never have. Any suggestions. I already selected the animation settings in Internet properties.

You are coming up to Niagara Falls Canada - yeah!.

I live about 2 hours from there but will actually be down there the first weekend in August. Too funny if we were there at the same time - we could do a mini-DIS meet!

If the boys like scary things - make sure they try out Screamers - great haunted house - 20% of people cant finish it as they get too scared!

I live in Markham Ontario which is a suburb just north of Toronto. But my brother lives in Fort Erie just across the border from Buffalo - we go there often over the summer.

There are 2 screamers now - I only know Screamers 1 which is awesome - word is that Screamers 2 is even scarier but I only heard from 1 person so far.

Definately get tickets!
