thanks for the PM chris. :rotfl2: it made my day.
we will be needing you guys to keep us laughing over the next few weeks i fear.

on the lighter side, i just finnished the treadmill. flipping through the channels i came upon an infomercial. keep in mind i NEVER watch these but this one got me hooked. i couldnt change the channel.:lmao: it was flirty girl fitness. 3 excersize dvds. chair dancing, pole dancing. robin doesnt know it yet but she is so getting it.:rotfl2: im throwing out that elliptical machine.:rolleyes1
i swear this is true. you get the dvds plus feather boa and pole.
go to flirtygirlfitness.com and get fit:rolleyes1

Why would you waste your money on DVDs? You could get Robin a personal instructor for "fitness" lessons 3 times a week if needed. You know someone qualified I do believe. I bet you could also work out a very nice payment plan with her!!!;)

I don't have my Disney Visa rules with me and this will be the first time I spend any Rewards Points. So far, both our nights at POFQ are free with the points. I should have a few more after I get the points for the kids cruises which I will put on my Visa and they will pay off.

Question is: Can I use the Rewards Card points anywhere on the Disney grounds?

Sorry, I should've read through my stuff a little closer.

Cass - I've just ordered 5 sheets of magnetic paper for our door signs. Any tips before I waste them?

Hmmmm, for printer properties, use the highest (or best) quality that your computer has. If you can choose which kind of paper in your properties, choose glossy photo paper. Always print a test page first with regular paper (learned the hard way...many times  ) . When you print, only have the one sheet in your printer, don't just slip it in front of regular paper or try sticking two sheets together. Let it dry a few hours before touching it, it doesn't really need a few hours before touching, only a few mins but it's good to let it set longer!

No way! We were actually hoping to hear you talk. We wanted to hear some cool French accents. I think we hear Rob briefly at one point, but too quick for me to hear what he says. Now I find out you don't have the accent anyway. :)

Nancy, if you like I can fake a french accent for you..

Ahh..hallo Nan-cee...bonjour, how are jew?? Ahhh oui, c'est bon...jew look fantastique in yeur bee-u-tiful kon-ked kruse-eur t-sheurt mais non? :lmao:

POOR ROB!!!!!! Hope he doesn't think all americans are as "sweet" as that border guard!!!;)

I think they are hired based on their ability to be a$$e$!! I worked at the airport for 3 years, worked very closely with the US customs guys and they were SO arrogant!! Total jacka$$e$!!! And the few Canadian Customs guys I knew there we SO nice! I mean they have the same job, just for different countries, why be such jerks though you know??? I think it may be because they are stationed either in Canada or nearby and not someplace cool like NY or LA or Orlando  I remember overhearing them during my breaks and they were always whining about not being home in Arizona (that's where the majority are from) for six months at a time. I guess they don't like snow :rotfl:

THANK YOU CASS!!! YOU'RE THE BEST!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

I won't let it go to my head....cus I will never fit through the door to get onto the ship!

That just stinks!!! How often does he have to cross into the US? Hopefully this won't happen again!!!

Not often, most of his business is in Canada maybe never again now ha ha

By the way Cass, I love Missy's new avatar!!! I wish I had one ounce of your computer savvyness!!!!

That would leave me with only one ounce left so no you can't have it! :rolleyes1

Thanks Cass.

I think it is compliant now. I think the last one might have been as well. Their rules are as follows:

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 3.9 KB (whichever is smaller).

It was origianlly under the 3.9K, but over the 100 x 100. Now it is under the 100 x 100, but 4.2K, over the 3.9K limit.

Not sure if they will require it to be under both from reading that. I think it is close enough that it shouldn't matter.

Thanks again.
crap...sorry :sad2: Must have been smokin' something last night

Here you go...

Any news on the house??:)

Umm nope but then again my phone wasn't working all day yesterday so I will have to give her a call today. Stupid phone company! They said it was a glitch!

Cass, sorry about Rob customs scare. Did they ever explain what the problem was? That would make me a little nervous.

Nope the only thing they said was that because the dinner was business oriented he needed a visa to get in :sad2: :headache: Hmm, and if he LIED and said he was taking a friend out, there would be no cavity search??? :confused3 They never explained the "lockdown" crap!

I wish I could help you Nancy, but we peons up here in the North aren't allowed Disney Visa cards. Or the Disney channel, or the Travel channel. I mean hey, they just let us into the Disney Movie Club recently!....:sad2: gee thanks Disney!!

You can use your reward points just about anywhere on Disney property - we used ours last year at one of the gift shops at the Polynesian and then killed the balance at the F&W Festival Center gift shop in Epcot. If you're not sure just ask the CM at the register - they'll know.

We've also used our reward points on DCL - just went to guest services the day we boarded the ship, handed them card, and they added the balance to our on-board account.

It's easy! :goodvibes

OMG what a big screw. SO SORRY everyone:scared: :faint:

My first attempt at this and my DW forgot to tell me how to shrink

Jeff, told you I was not good with computer stuff

o.k. This type of corkscrew is generally called a "waiter's corkscrew." It is my favorite kind as I have literally opened tens of thousands of bottles with that kind!! :dance3: (Not all for me--I used to work at an exclusive conference center for Johnson Wax!)

First of all, only screw it in about a third of the way, then put the lever down on the lip of the bottle and slowly pull up. You may or may not have to repeat the process. As I said earlier don't screw it in too far. The other problem could be simply that you are dealing with a dry cork. Are you storing your wine on its side? Let me you how it works!

Good morning Chris, sorry to ruin your FRESH ONE...
Great Calendar pictures, when are you going to post the one of you??

Mike/Robin, sorry to hear about your mom, that's a long road for the elderly to recover from that type of injury. You are in our thoughts:grouphug:

Cass, sorry about Rob customs scare. Did they ever explain what the problem was? That would make me a little nervous.

How did my fellow Wisconsin friends fair the storm last night? Victoria, how about your roof?? Still have to pay for it yourself??:rotfl2:

Yes--stinking weather--why can't the hail and strong winds hit my little corner of the world?? It wouldn't take much!!! And now, my car needs new brakes!! Paying the cruise off is starting to look a little dicey. :scared1:

Jeff please don't go there fella,just don't go there....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hope all you people in Wisconsin are safe and well and away from that huge bonfire..stay safe.....:)

Anybody doing anything fun this weekend? Missy and I are taking the families and going to Busch Gardens on Sunday. It is supposed to be in the 90s so.....who knows how long we will stay.

Thanks Brenda!

I don't know how much I'll have in points but I do know to make sure whatever I do load it up with, I have to spend this year.

Maybe with the leftovers I can buy the kiddos one little piece of licorice.:)

First off MG, she is to be referred to as NP or No-Pants.

I love this time of year with my Disney Visa. It is year end and our National Conference. All of our districts order their new computers in the middle of July - those go on my credit card. I pay for the conference fee ($6,600+) and the Hotel Rooms ($6,200) with my card.

The last two alone will get me over $125 in rebates. :woohoo:

I usually get $40-$45k a year put on my card from work. Gotta love it.

Sad thing is, we charge about that ourselves in a year. We put everything on it. I hardly ever write a check. Groceries, gas, utilities, everything. We pay it off each month, so no interest or fees. They are definitely not making any money on us.

One year we maxxed out on rewards.

Now we have a separate card in Suz' name so we can really play the game. :cool1:

Hey "losers" !!! Some of you still need to weigh-in today :rolleyes1

So far Nancy, you're the only loser this week. Great job!!! :yay:
Lots of pixiedust: for the losers next week, hopefully it will be a much better week for all of us! :woohoo:

we just got back from hospital. robin says she will weigh in tom.

well robin just called me. a little upset. she just found out her mom fell out of bed last nite and broke her hip. she had surgery today but is kind of out of it:sick: see, believe it or not both her mom and dad have early alzhimiers(sp)they have good days and bad. you hate to say it but robin has always been the favorite. it broke her heart a few weeks ago when her dad didnt recognize her for a few seconds. shes the only one he always knows.
anyway, her brother didnt call earlier because he knew robin was out of town and didnt want to worry her.:sad1:
i guess her mom is giving them a hard time at the hospital. screaming, doesnt know anybody.:sad2:
dec of 2005 we were at wdw and her mom fell and broke a vertebrae in her back and her dad really lost it then. we both stayed over nite with him and in the morning he came over to robin and said" since when do are you allowed to have boys stay overnite?" she said "dad its mike, we have been married for 30 years."
robin fears this episode will set him off again.
so as soon as she gets home tomorrow we are headed to the hospital.shes coming home earlier than originally planned.
then there is my parents. my mom just had open heart surg 3 weeks ago and my dad has emphyzema with 25% lung capacity.
we have been so lucky to have them all in our lives for so long but you feel it slipping away.
anyway, sorry to ramble on and i will try to keep you updated:grouphug:
i put a real damper on this nite didnt i ?

Howdy
Sorry to hear about your parents Robin. I will pray for them, you and Mike. I hope you had a good work week. Talk to you later. Diane
