I have a question for you computer savvy people......You know the list of cute little smileys .......and how there is a little icon at the bottom that says "more"........well, when I hit "more" my computer makes a "dunk" sound and I get no "more"!!!!! What am I doing wrong??? I never have this problem at work and my computer at home is much more up to date than the dinosaur at the office!!!! I have my "pop ups blocked" turned off......what else can I do???? HELP!:

Mine used to do that a lot - if you hold your shift key down and hit the "more" button it should work

well robin just called me. a little upset. she just found out her mom fell out of bed last nite and broke her hip. she had surgery today but is kind of out of it see, believe it or not both her mom and dad have early alzhimiers(sp)they have good days and bad. you hate to say it but robin has always been the favorite. it broke her heart a few weeks ago when her dad didnt recognize her for a few seconds. shes the only one he always knows.
anyway, her brother didnt call earlier because he knew robin was out of town and didnt want to worry her.
i guess her mom is giving them a hard time at the hospital. screaming, doesnt know anybody.
dec of 2005 we were at wdw and her mom fell and broke a vertebrae in her back and her dad really lost it then. we both stayed over nite with him and in the morning he came over to robin and said" since when do are you allowed to have boys stay overnite?" she said "dad its mike, we have been married for 30 years."
robin fears this episode will set him off again.
so as soon as she gets home tomorrow we are headed to the hospital.shes coming home earlier than originally planned.
then there is my parents. my mom just had open heart surg 3 weeks ago and my dad has emphyzema with 25% lung capacity.
we have been so lucky to have them all in our lives for so long but you feel it slipping away.
anyway, sorry to ramble on and i will try to keep you updated
i put a real damper on this nite didnt i ?

Oh Mike, how awful for you both. Our parents are still all ok, but I'm dreading the stage where I turn into the parent and them the child

Actually Rob had a really bad day too! He took the ferry from Vancouver into Seattle today to take a business aquaintance out for dinner because when he was there 2 days ago, they ran out of time but the US border guy wouldn't let him into the US! In fact, they put him into lockdown for almost 2 hours, took his fingerprints (he's never been finger printed before!) asked about birthmarks and tatoos and didn't allow him to use his cell phones, or the BATHROOM! They took his passport away from him along with his birth certificate and drivers licence!

So he called me after they finally released him and said he was really worried now about getting back into Canada because of what the US guards just did to him....he calls me back about 5 mins after he pulled up to the Canada Customs agent, and says "I LOVE CANADA!"

I guess he told him what just happened to him and the guard just looked at him and said "REALLY??? All that cus you wanted to take a guy out to dinner??? You go home and I hope your day gets better!"

Wow! - poor Rob! Did he mention them wearing rubber gloves - sorry! - I'm only laughing cos its all over and he's home safe and sound. I bet it was really scarey . I always look guilty for no reason when I go through customs.

Sorry to hear about this Cinnamike. I'm afraid I'm going through the same thing with my daddy. Last week my mom called me at work that she couldn't find him. He was gone for two hours. I left work and rushed over only to find him in the garage sitting on a chair braiding garlic. (He grows garlic, then braids it and hangs it in the garage). He told me he just wanted to get away from my mom's nagging about moving again. Of course, I feared the worst on my way over. And NO...my mom never thought of checking the garage 1st. Geeez mom...it's right behind the house. Didn't you check for his car??

Last year he spoke to Kristin for 10 minutes thinking she was me.

I'm sure Nancy and Chuck keep thinking to themselves "these are awesome videos, if only there was a way we could edit Rob and Cass out.... "

No way! We were actually hoping to hear you talk. We wanted to hear some cool French accents. I think we hear Rob briefly at one point, but too quick for me to hear what he says. Now I find out you don't have the accent anyway.
