Day 4 of the Passport Woes:

Tony got a call from the Congressman's office saying that he'd have to go to Chicago and re-apply now. Nothing can be found. Being the organized person he is (we affectionately dubbed him "Danny Tanner") he faxed over all the papers he had including cancelled checks, confirmation numbers from the Post Office, copy of app etc..

They finally called him back and said it was found. His last name was spelled wrong AND his SS number was incorrect. He looked at his app and sure enough, clear as a bell, everything was correct. Whoever inputed his info made two mistakes and just thought they'd toss it aside until later.

So now supposedly, he will get his passport overnighted to him by Saturday.

We'll see. I still don't have any faith in our govt...yet!

It's a good thing you only have to renew them every few years!

Cass you've cleared something up for me. Yes, the US/UK divide has struck again. Buttons - as in badges/pins. I thought you meant buttons as in fasteners.

That's weird, we were on the very next cruise after you and we had Brent as cruise director, guess it was switcheroo time for them!

Yes, Brent was our CD in September. Anyone remember Mad Ian, one of the CM's?

There is another thread on a different website for our cruise. A few detractors from the DIS are over there. I haven't checked it out at all.

Neither does the rest of the country. Congress' approval rating is down to 14%. As bad as the president's is, this is half of that. I thought we were suppose to get a better government after the last election. Can't imagine what we'll have after the 2008 one.

Hope Tony gets is passport this weekend.

Jeff - Here are a few more photos from P&P Party.....my camera battery died during the parade so I don't have many photos of that .....Lori is going to check her photos and post her parade pics!!! Enjoy.....

The Pirates of the Caribbean ride had special decorations and was set up as a professional photo op!!

There were lots of princesses out that night! This is Alex (Lori's DD!) with Belle!

This is a wrap that had covered the street lights in the park. "X" marked the spot where you could stop for chocolate monies and strings of beads (money and jewels!!!).

This is my DH and youngest DS collecting their booty at one of the treat spots!!!!

Is Rob left-handed by chance? They say left-handed people eat one thing at a time. I'm left-handed (writing only), but still seem to eat one thing at a time. Not sure why that is. Nothing I have to do, I just do.

Nope, he is right-handed. I have no idea where he gets the one-food-at-a-time thing?? It's funny cus the first few years together (okay maybe the first 5 or 6 ) I used to get SO frustrated with him...I'd be like "Is there something WRONG with your steak?????????" because he wouldn't eat it until last....and he eats very slowly so that doesn't help either! And I also noticed his least favourite meals were things served together like Shepherd's Pie or any kind of casserole because the food was all MIXED up, he couldn't eat one thing at a time!

just read on laughing place that a new 14 min movie will be shown in the canada pavilion at epcot. should be in by fall. stars martin short.

also a new updated closing montage in the american adventure. we love that show. its one of our favs

OMG it's about frikken time!!!!!! The movie was made in 1982 and is grossly out of date!!!! I am embarrassed to even watch it anymore!

I made a cruise video from our 10/22/05 cruise, I have it posted on my website here http://www.cassworld.ca/videosmagic2005.htm

Nancy has dial-up and can't watch it on the internet so I sent her a DVD copy of it to watch on her TV.


I also have some other videos on there too like WDW and MNSSHP.
