I actually got B-slapped on the repo because I haven't posted on there in several weeks (like 8 to 10) and tried for one (a ) recently. A couple of people weren't happy with it. Guess my 725 posts that I contributed to that thread and the fact that I am still the 26th highest poster (only lost a couple of spots) made no difference.

we have been trying to get walt and di on the boards. they havnt been around lately. they have have been real busy with work and grand kids. walt and i had a great time admiring the all girl band Juntion 21 from our last cruise.

I don't think Heather has gone over to that thread at all (well at least not posted) and Chris stopped posting long before I slowed down (actually not posting much at all anymore - tried to make and effort last week, but didn't connect with them).

There is no way you would be able to meet with everyone on that thread. The total count of DISers and Family is going to be between 500-600.

Granted there is about a core 20 or so that post over there, so it is similar in size to us. However, over there, it seems hard to get into their conversations. It is like trying to butt in to a group who is talking together at a party.

This group is great. I liked the group we had for my Jan '06 cruise - there was about a dozen or so "core" posters and we got along great here and on the ship.

I didn't connect at all with the ones for the Jan '07 though.

OMG, I almost spewed! Hahaha, yes like Mike was saying, a fellow DISer that was on our cruise made us some buttons for the DISmeet, which ended up being a bit of a bust, lots of shy people...I only got to meet 3 or 4 DISers I think.

I think I have a pic...hang on...

hey, i wore my button the entire cruise. did you have to pay for yours? we got ours for free. i hear they are sell on ebay for $100
