Faint glimmer of hope - a friend of a friend knew an electrician - got him here now removing the light fittings.
One job down - 6 million to go.

Good Morning Karen and Chris!

Kind of quiet around this thread lately. Sorry, we Americans & Canadians are not holding up our end of the bargain. Our UK'ers log on to see what the A&C's have been up to and find nothing, nada, zilch! You guys get a "bump" and :bored: and maybe one or two little posts. You know what they say about us...too too busy to make time for fun. :guilty:

Karen, I hope your move gets it's "move on" soon  . I remember when we moved 6 years ago, I kept a notebook about everything I did and who said what. I have pages and pages of stuff I had to keep track of. It's mind boggling. I don't understand when people move every two years through a choice of their own. We stayed 19 years in our first house and don't plan on moving from here unless we win the lottery. :cheer2: And if we do, I'll hire someone else to take care of everything for me.:woohoo:

Here's a little update on the Passport Drama. Tony called our Congressman yesterday and in ten minutes was told that he'd have his passport overnighted if need be. He told them that he needed it by the 25th of June, so we'll see how our government comes through for him. They promised he would have it by then. Now we are just waiting for the other three. If the other kids don't have them by July they will call the Congressman too.

Well, have a great day everyone. I gotta hit the bike because the scale looks like it's going to stand still this Friday. :sad2:

I was going to the gym today but cant be bothered now. The weihg in doesnt look promising for Friday - I have been ubber good this week and I think I've put on a pound:rolleyes: - how does that happen:confused3 :sad1: , maybe if I eat a whole cheesecake I'll lose a few pounds:confused3 - probably not, but it would be a nice experiment to try though eh!:rotfl:

Mate just sent me this....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47G5pejQ9Nk

Bloody hell.....:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

This guy really is great!!!!!! Everyone here in the office is just blown away by his performance. Is he a contestant on the current "Britains Got Talent" or is he from a past show???? Is the show going on now? Has he moved on each week? If he wins does he really get to perform for the queen? You're going to have to be the official "Paul Potts Poster" and keep us Americans informed of his progress!!!! ;) :thumbsup2

Why doesn't he get his teeth fixed?

I really don't care what the man looks like.......he is simply amazing!!;)
If you can find some video of the 70 year old rapper we would love to see that.....:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thank you AFEG for catching the joke ... ;)

And I don't care what he looks like either, but I always notice people's teeth. Trust me, when you spend your entire high school life with metal in your mouth and all your wisdom teeth are in by age 17, you just can't help but focus on teeth.

I have so many molars in my mouth I think I could chew through metal... ;)

Anyhoo... off to get some work done.

Brenda love we all have crap teeth over here....

cost per tooth for one of them nice veneered ones $2000/$2500 i jest not!!.....:sad2:

Wow, that's crazy! I had a tooth crowned two years ago that broke one night when I was having dinner out with 14 other managers here at the bank (that was awkward) and with dental insurance I paid about $400 out of pocket for the whole thing. Insurance picked up the other $400.

Dental care isn't covered by the fabulous health care system you guys supposedly have? :confused3
