Chocolate Fountain, yum, yum. Lead me to it. :rotfl:

How much are refills on champagne? Is it decent or something sweet?

Although I could be remembering incorrectly, I believe there was no charge, it was part of the Sunday brunch, I know the first one was free, but pretty sure there was no extra charge for a refill (or did I have 2?)

I thought it was very good! Not that I'm any kind of judge... I just know what I like and what I don't, no formal wine taster here. But it was not like your sweet cheap Asti's.... much, much better!;)

That is just the answer I was looking for as I am a "bit" of a wine snob. Sparkling wine is one of my favorites and I hate it at brunches when your "free" glass is some kind of asti. Yuck! I look forward to a glass of the Iron Horse at brunch and my husband will look forward to some afternoon delight if I have have more than one!

Iron Horse is great - a little dry but quite good! We had a bottle for our anniversary last month while we were in WDW. yummy!! :thumbsup2

Poor kid that's horrible, don't take any bull **** Lindy loo Elouise comes first, this kid is a bully end of,i had something similar with Rosie at infant school and the kid Happens to live on the same estate as us so i went had a chat to the kids dad, rosie never had a problem again within the lad..:rolleyes1 ...Dust stuff to you,Elouise and Wayne cos if he's anything thing like me it will be doing his head in that someone has hurt his princess....:sad2:

THANK YOU to everyone sending duest stuff to us !

The update was, we went in all calm, I put my power suit on and Angel perfume ( that always makes me feel "strong"!) I have a filofax with me and started to take notes. The Head teacher only asked 2 boys ( not the ones that saw it ) what happened and even then she got muddled and flustered. We did establish the event happened, but the teaching assistant that untied Elouise did not see the rope in her mouth ( we know that, if they bothered to ask the boy who took it off for her, so would they know ! )

As I was trying to pin her down on what type of punishment would be given to the boy and how they could ensure Elouises safety in the playground in future, she broke down and cried !!! then got up and left the room, saying she couldnt cope !!! ??:confused3 In the end the deputy head came in and we were another hour discussing what happened.

The school really "cocked" up allowing the ropes to be used for anything other than skipping. I know as I contacted the council and asked about how school measure "risk" with equipment. Which they didnt do properly !

The bottom line is they will move her out of the class, but why should she move ? they wont move him ( cos all the other parents will kick up !) if he moves to their class.
I have stated I expect them to be kept seperate in future, and that I hold the school responsible as they have a "duty of care".

We will meet again next tuesday, this allows the school to pup into actions what they promised. The amazing thing is they cant kee him from going out to play, as his parents will compain he is being prevent from his human rights ! :sad2: Emmm next time Wayne might just speak "man to man" to the dad!

Thanks for all the support I sooooooooooooo appreciate it:love:

I am not really on a diet, but I have been sooo bad today I had to fess up and it's only 2:20 in the afternoon!!

Strawberry Kringle for breakfast. (Mainly butter and sugar)

Grilled Cheese at Kopp's (Cheese, butter, and white bread--extra cheesy at this restaurant--after all we are in America's Dairyland!)

Frozen custard at Kopp's (Mainly cream, egg yolks, and sugar. Oh yeah, it was mint with added fudge and oreo cookies!!)

Zachary couldn't finish his chocolate frozen custard so guess who had to finish it?? I couldn't let Kopp's custard melt in the afternoon sun, could I? ****Cheeseheads, back me up on this.****

Just stopped at the grocery store--making grilled chicken breasts and a green salad for dinner--although maybe I shouldn't have dinner at all!!

Victoria,
This cheesehead can certainly back you up on the Kringle thing and the Kop's Grilled Cheese Sammie, but I'm sorry, I can't back you up on the custard. I'm not a custard or icecream eater at all. I'm sure Jeff and Cheryl might be able to back you up though.

Sorry things didn't go better Linda. Hopefully next week's meeting will go better, or that meeting with Wayne and the dad.

Linda, it always seems that the good kids always gets the short end of the stick. Why should she have to move? She did nothing wrong. And as for other parents raising a fuss, then the school should be able to control the child and the parents have confidence that the school will do so in HIS new classroom. They need to realize it is their job during school hours to control his behavior and not punish the good kids. Elouise now has to endure change that is not due to her behavior. I'm sorry that you all have to go through this.

BUMP!!!! We were near the bottom!!! I'm off to bed. Goodnight.

Wow, what a ssssssslllllloooooowwwwwwwwwwww night in here! :upsidedow

Hi Missy - thanks for that. I got the first books off ebay yesterday, so I have nearly all of them now. We both love books.

Karen, any update on the house? Did they get back to you? I'm sorry they are dragging their feet. Just remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!:thumbsup2

Update - barely anything to report but.. the owners of our new house have now decided they cant move on the 29th anyway, so its either the 22nd or even later:rolleyes: - I'm going to take up squaters rights if they dont get out soon.

Hi Linda

Is he not being excluded for suspended for this? He surely should be. Do his parents know? What was their response? If the parents havent been told then they need to be told. I agree it should be him not little E thats moved from the class. If they cant provide adequate safety for the other children then this child is a danger and shouldnt be in the class / school anyway.

"his human rights !"......And wheres Elouai's Human rights in all this?,this once great national is run by "do good" arseholes who pander to the "needs" of the perpetrators and don't give a flying hook for the victims, tell the school you don't give a fig about the other kid and DEMAND he is removed from your thoughtful, caring and WELL BEHAVED little girls class and where he is put after being removed is of no consequence to you......if this fails tell Wayne to drop one on the father....:rolleyes1

ps...Sorry but patience aint one of my strong points, flame away.....:rotfl2:
