Thats great!! I think twins always share a special bond anyway..... You should be very proud of them.....;)

Good afternoon Robin, about formal night is ANYONE ON HERE wearing formal?....:confused3

We've always done tuxes in the past, but at the present time, are not doing them this cruise. I told Suz we should save the $200 (mine and DS's) and spend it elsewhere (we only wear them twice). Also, are tablemates  will not be in tuxes.

Has anyone been to WDW in August? How are the crowds? the heat and the hurricanes don't bother us........(did I just type that?)

AverysMommy said:
We went to WDW the last week of August last year and it was FANTASTIC! it was HOT. You have to prepare for the heat but we all did - from my 4 year old daughter to my 65 year old mother.

There were NO crowds as the Florida residents were in school - some of the rides that normally have Fast Pass had that system turned off as you could just walk right onto rides. A couple of times, we didnt even have to get off the rides, we rode it multiple times.

I will definately go back at that time again.

We are looking at going over Labor Day weekend for a quick get away. We may only do the MK and do it during the P&P Party. The crowds will be capacity controlled for that. We were then thinking of doing Blizzard and Typhoon on that Sat and Sun. Wonder how crowded those will be on the holiday weekend? With the dining plan, you have to buy some type of ticket. Since it doesn't pay to buy just a one day and the fact that we are out of passes (except for 2 waterpark days), we will probably buy a new set of 10 day hopper/waterpark/no-expiration tickets. If we do that, we may hit a couple of parks on Sunday. They say we don't have to use the tickets, so if we find that there are a lot of people in that weekend, we may just not use them.

I am still nervous as heck thinking about just exactly how we are going to manage:

1. Kira
2. Full size stroller
3. Big awkward Car seat
4. Big, heavy laptop case
5. Carry-on with 2 cameras and 1 video camera with extra batteries, cards etc.
6. Carry-on with a few of our things and tons of Kira's stuff for plane.
7. 4-5 large suitcases

I remember back when we traveled with DS to Puerto Vallarta when he was 3 1/2 months old. Suz had me pack bottled water in the suitcase (he was on formula and she didn't trust the water down there even though they sell bottled water). Come to find out, one of the companies that bottles water down there is Coke, so I think we would have been fine. She did this again when he was 11 months old and went to Manzanillo, Mexico. This was in addition to the stroller. The good thing with our stroller and car seats is they attached to each other. So we'd put DS in his car seat and put that on the stroller. Also, remember, GATE CHECK the stroller. They take it from you when you board and give it back right when you get off.

And what's this about free dining?

If you book 3 days or longer at a resort and take ANY kind of ticket, they will give you free dining for the length of your stay. It includes 1 Sit-Down, 1 Counter, and 1 Snack per person per night of stay. Not a bad deal at all. I think you stay at Mods like we do. The savings with AAA is $29 per night. I think you and Chuck will easily eat that. Now through in a kid or two and it adds up. For the above mentioned trip over Labor Day, we figured we'd spend $116 (before taxes) on the room using AAA and about $150 for the weekend in food (all counter service with breakfast in the room). We will pay $87 more for the room, but will save the money on the food. So it would be cheaper to go on the dining plan. Now we do have to get tickets, so we will do what I said above and get the 10-day tickets. Yes you can get them through a Mousesavers link for $77 less (total for all 3 of us), but even if you add the $77 to the $87 more on the room, it is $164 more, but for $14 we will get 3 sit-down meals. Not a bad deal in my mind. For those without AAA this is an excellent deal. Especially with kids. And I think it was Paige who was looking at the annual pass, what I've seen people posting on one of the threads say is that they just get a one day base ticket to get the food for their whole trip.

Is this one better?

That is PERFECT! Thanks for working it up Cass!

OK...must comment now:lmao: :lmao: I just can't take it anymore.:rotfl2:

First I read that Neil is humping boxes last week and now Karen is humping things from one room to another????

Oh Ms. Karen, FYI "humping" things in America takes on a totally different meaning in America than it does in the UK (hopefully).:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Kind of like when the Americans use the term "Fanny Pack" and it means something different to you in the UK.

We all love you Karen...you are supplying us all a good giggle this morning.

(See attached PM plz):rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok.....No more humping for me then:scared1:

I Neil O.K. with that? :rotfl2:

I was sure all this talking about "H" would bring Jeff out:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

You better believe it. :lmao:

If the rocket thing was to happen what time would one suggest leaving WDW?......a ONE HOUR journey becomes an ? hour journey on a "L" day?....:rolleyes1

We're intending leaving around 8am, maybe a teeny bit earlier. We were going to book a room by the port but that means we'd have to miss Wishes :scared1: - still cant make my mind up. I think 8am should be ok.

Is Neil O.K. with that? :rotfl2:

:wave2:Hi tablemate :wave2: - Ellis is going to pm your ds :thumbsup2

Neil is used to me not humping:lmao: - I only hump in emergencies when theres too much for Neil to hump on his own.:rotfl2:

Geez, I'm sooooooooooooo tired. I could fall asleep at the keyboard. Its really muggy and hot here today - must stay awake :faint: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It's really close,or am i having a hot flush?.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: Karen we complain when it's chucking down we complain when it's too bloody hot us British eh?......:rolleyes1
