Im here, been trying to catch up !!!! OMG!

My party is the 7th July when I have invited 7 of my best friends to my house for 6pm. Wayne and his friend are dressing in Djs and black ties and serving champagne coscktails ! we are then going by limo to Oxford ( about 40 mis from my house) to the Oxford Comedy club, we have front of row seat ...:scared1: not too sure front is a good idea, might be picked on! then we are going to a private night club and casino that I am a member of till 2am, when our limo will collect 8 drunk but happy girls 1 :thumbsup2 Ive booked it all, but told them nothing, other than they need to be at mine for 6pm. Its a kind of Thank you to them,as they have all been wonderful friends over the years.

I wanted to set up a weekend in europe, but one of my friends is a single mum, ,and has no passport, so she wouldnt be able to make it. Another mum is having a massive extension and pool put on their house,so anything tooo costly was out,if she was to come. This will still be a blast though!
My actual b day is 17th July. On that day, my oldest best mate ( who is abroad on business on the 7th,) is taking me somewhere as a surprise !

Plus Wayne is taking me on Royal Caribbean in Feb 08 just him and me

WOW!!!! Sounds like great fun!!!! :yay: Enjoy your special day.:cheer2:
HAPPY 40th!!!!:bday: party: :bday:

(in case I forget to tell you in July)

Didnt loose any weight today, at my weigh in:mad:

i was a bit sad to start with, but I still went to the gym today and I will loose some next week !:goodvibes

I looked back when I dieted with Slimmer World, I didnt loose on week 5 with them either ?:confused3 :confused3

Lori, my super slimmer buddy, how did your weigh in go ?

Nancy, how are you doing my friend?

Don't give up!!!!:) You know how we women are......one day we weigh this, the next day, 3 pounds less, the next day 3 pounds more.....:sad2:
Just keep the faith and you'll reach you're goal!!:cheer2: :dance3: :cheer2:

We did have a list somewhere of celebrations - goodness knows where though:rolleyes1 - I would hate to miss a celebration onboard and not send a card. Good idea - lets get a list on Yahoo.:thumbsup2 If I figure out how then I'll start it. I think LINDY IS THE OLDEST;) , then me, then Jeff, then youself

Errrr, Karen? We already have a "Who's Celebrating" link on Yahoo. It's been there for a few months now. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Erm:rolleyes1 ......I knew that:rolleyes1 .......just testing you were on the ball Nancy:rolleyes1

I knew I'd seen something somewhere...geez...anyone would think I was a Yahoo moderator or something:lmao: :lmao: .....hangs head in shame;)

Yikes all I do is leave to go to Target and put in another load of laundry and I come back and I am already 2 pages behind again.

Jeff how are we doing on trying to catch the threads ahead of us?

Red Robin has become one of our favorite places to go out to eat! There are so many good things on the menu and Rach and I LOVE the Frekled Lemonade! It is only about a 15-20 min. drive for us to get there but one in Brookfield would be nice too, we usually are going more in that direction than we do towards Southridge.

I didn't know you worked near Bayshore. That must be quite a drive for you back and forth from Hartland with traffic what it is around here now.

I love Red Robin. Get the A-1 Peppercorn Burger. It is awsome.

Suz did the Bonzai and really enjoyed it.

Oh, and the Frekled Lemonade is great.

Hmm....may need to road trip for lunch. Although, Suz gets a free burger this month because her birthday is this Monday, maybe we'll drive down to Southridge for lunch or dinner on Sunday. They really need to get one out in Brookfield or over her near Bayshore (near where I work).

17 years - you must be at a non-Aurora one then.

Yep you're right, Aurora is the enemy especially lately :lmao: ! I work at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. I did do both my X-ray and ultrasound schooling at St. Lukes though, but that was 21 years ago already and a lot sure has changed in that time. It is amazing all 6 of us kids in my family work in health care along with 3 of my nieces and none of us work for the same company.

I think I remember seeing either Sunday night or Monday night football on there when we went to get Al his nightly ice cream on Deck 9 last Oct. I'll check and see if it says anything in our Navigators.

Guess we know what will be on the TV in Diversion.

I wish I could find a site that gave me the whole listing for the day. Probably in a couple months Yahoo or someone will have it. It is getting to the 2nd half of the season by then so there should be some other good games.

Anyone who has been on the ship in the fall, do they put games up on the Ariel View?

They did for the playoffs last year in January. Just wondering about regular season.

Yup, it's Mileagers for us tomorrow. Then to Hawks to blow my gift certificate I got from work for Christmas. I don't suppose I'll get too much for $50.00 from Hawks though.

Ever go to Mileagers at Christmas or Halloween time? Fantastic !!

Better yet, you bring the rototiller over to our house (with Suz and DS)and I'll make sure you and Chuck have all the beverages you need.

Nancy I've never been to Mileagers at either of those times. I guess I'll have to go before the cruise this Oct. and again at Christmas time and check it out. Which one do you go to? The one in Sturtuevant or Racine?

Jeff when you're done at Nancy's you could come to my house. I'll make sure Al takes down Rachel's swingset tonight so that we could rotatill that area for a new garden tomorrow :lmao: and then when you're done you could go to Red Robin with us

Lindy don't be too hard on yourself  This is just one week and you should be proud of yourself that you went to the gym instead of going and eating something you shouldn't like I usually do when I am depressed after a weigh in. Like you said you will loose next week, think positive and they do say slow weight loss is the best way to keep it off!

NANCY**NANCY**NANCY!!!!!!!!

Are you still out there? If you are going to the Milaeger's on 32 in Racine you are literally two blocks from my house!! I would certainly run over to meet you (and pick up some vegetable plants too!)

Cheryl,

I don't know which one you usually go to, but the Milaeger's in Racine is much bigger (and better :) ) then the one in Sturtevant. I worked there for a year back in the early nineties before we were married. The one in Racine is unbelievable at Christmas. And it is absolutely INSANE on the 26th of December when all the Christmas stuff goes half off.

Wow all these "40" birthdays coming up. I started taking notes on whose is when because I'll never remember. Now if only I'll remember where I will put the sheet of paper that I marked these dates all down on :rolleyes1

Errrr, Karen? We already have a "Who's Celebrating" link on Yahoo. It's been there for a few months now. :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

OK, I FOUND IT...........its just where Nancy said it was:lmao: ....Yahoo, database, who's celebrating...Get it filled in people - we dont want to miss a celebration.

Victoria, I've only been to the one in Sturtevant. I guess I will definitely need to get to the one in Racine! Is it easy to find? Last year was the first year I planted some perennials. We pulled out some shrubs and I will slowly fill that area in with more and more perenials. I have been enjoying watching them growing already this spring and some are flowering already!

o.k., here are my answers to Nancy's questions about women sport freaks:

I am from Wisconsin :cheer2: and my husband is from Illinois :scared1: , but somehow we fell in love  . When we got married we decided that we would compromise on our sport teams, sooooo our children are being raised as Green Bay Packer fans and Chicago Cubs fans. There would be no discussing them being Bear fans!! That would have been an outrage especially this south in the state. The Cubs thing is pretty easy, although we still root for the Brewers as well. I was a very lucky 8th grader in 1982 as I was able to go to one of the World Series games. I was a HUGE fan during the days of Robin Yount and Paul Molitor.

I also follow and LOVE to watch professional tennis. I know that is not a popular sport to watch here in the US, but what about are British friends? My dream would be to watch a match at Wimbledon especially if Roger Federer was still playing. I have a total crush on that guy. Could he be any more perfect????

Cheryl,

The one in Racine is probably 5 times bigger!!!!! It is extremely easy to find. Just take 94 to the Ryan Rd. exit to highway 32. 32 (also known as Douglas Ave.) will take you right into town and Mileager's will be on your right. I can get you the exact address if you want.

Oh my goodness! - she's hooked!:lmao:

I'd love to go to Cedr Point - we often watch tv programmes about big coasters and they are nearly always in Cedar Point! We did Magic Mountain /six flags in LA which was great and had good coasters.:thumbsup2The superman and batman rides were great:banana:

We went to Busch Gardens this past weekend and rode The Griffin. It's drop is 90 degrees!!!:scared1: :scared1: It was awesome!!!

Hmmmm.... sports and women....

I love to watch baseball and before the strike a few years back I was a huge hockey fan. I love to watch figure skating, gymnastics, and professional tennis ( I cut my teeth on the Connors / McEnroe rivalry).

I've been known to watch the Tour de France when it's televised and I love watching Olympic sports, although I find the coverage is better on CNBC or USA where you actually are allowed to watch the sport instead of those propoganda pieces on US athletes or the super-sugary feel-good human interest stories. They make me want to puke. :headache:

I miss Wide World of Sports... I used to watch that every Saturday when I was younger.

My weigh in was ok. I lost 1.2 lbs since Monday. I started on Monday but will continue to weigh in with you on Fridays. I know next week you will have lost weight!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
