Almost done catching up. Only 5 more pages to go but it's after midnight here now and my eyes are getting blurry but I'm too tired to get up and get my glasses. I really want to finish getting caught up tonight!

Hi Cheryl! Test went OK - thanks for asking. Have two follow-up appointments next week to discuss the results and scratch our heads. ;)

Brenda glad the test went OK. Hope all goes well with your appointments next week! I hate the waiting game when wating for test results.

We are cheating. We are taking the super shuttle to the airport so the load all luggage into the van and out of the van out the airport. Then we hire the luggage guy. My father refuses to use this guy so he is carrying his own bags. When we get into FL we will hire another guy to have it delivered to our hotel where we will have the bell guy take it to our rooms. We have never done this before. But with 7 people we figure there will be 7 carry on's, and 5 to 6 suitcases. What are we supposed to do.

Sounds like a great idea! We might have to try that some time, hiring a shuttle to get us to the airport. We usually fly early in the morning and I hate bothering one of my sisters or brothers to get up and get us there so early although we do return the favor when they travel. Maybe we'll get a shuttle when we go to WDW next month.

Does everyone on here collect the disney trading pins? We have never done them and don't have any so I was wonder if it is a big thing on the ships and if I should get some for the kids.

We have done some pin trading and once you get started it can get addicting. There is pin trading on the ship and they do sell pins in the shops onboard too. The pins do get heavy and sometimes we just leave them at home and of course those are the times we wish we had brought them with :rotfl:

Ok that's it I am all caught up and I can hardly see. It's off to bed for. Good night everyone and good morning soon to the Konked Kruisers from across the pond.

I did!! .....I did!!!....I'm officially a freak!!!!! I really feel like one of the bunch now!!!  I'm so proud!!!:rotfl2: :lmao:

Welcome to the "I own my page" club. Sad isn't it???:lmao: :rotfl2:

I know that we can have those magnetic signs on our room doors, but will the allow us to tape up banners. I would like to get a b-day banner for our DD's b-day and put it on the door. Is this allowed?

Carrie, Birthday banners are fine but they ask that you don't use tape..ever. It actually damages the doors by pulling the paint off of it. Some time back, I read a post where DCL was banning the idea of signs on the doors. I also read it was because people used tape rather than the magnets.:)

Karen, here I am up again at the "butt crack of stupid" (as you would say) and now you're not here to play with me. I woke up at 3:45 never to fall asleep again. By 5:00 I was so bored that I woke the dog up to go out and play. I tossed his ball in the yard and all he did was look at me, sighed heavily, and layed down in the driveway. I think I could read his mind. "Crazy lady...go back to bed and leave me alone". Poor pooch was even too tired to go potty.

So everyone, any great plans for the weekend?

We are taking a run down to Racine (1/2 way between here and Chicago) to buy our flowers and vegetables for the garden. We're making the garden bigger this year so we'll be working on digging up the lawn for that. Yeah, yeah...I say "we" like I'm going to help. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Let me rephrase that to give Chuck a little credit. Chuck will dig up more of the lawn to accomodate a bigger garden.
(I'll provide beverages throughout the day).

Then he will go to rent the rototiller to dig up the garden.
(I'll go along because I just love that hardware store to snoop around in).

Then come home to use it in our garden.
(I'll run the video camera because it has got to be the funniest thing I've ever seen him do).

Then off to my parents house to rototil their garden.
(I'll once again offer beverages and join my parents in standing around and watching Chuck work his butt off).

After that it's off to return the rototiller and because I'll be exhausted by then, I'll offer to take Chuck to TGIF's because I won't feel like making lunch. (Besides, I just saw a commercial on TV that they have my favorite salad back on the menu).

By then it should be around 4:00 in the afternoon and we can call it quits and relax. :lmao: :rotfl2: YIKES!! I'm exhausted just typing this.:rotfl:

Have a great weekend everyone!!:dance3:

Just thought of one more thing.

I was wondering...how many of you women out there enjoy watching sports on TV as much as I do?

I absolutely love watching Football, Basketball, Baseball, and soccer. In that order. I will be the first one on the coach on any given Sunday and will watch every football game during the winter. That includes all NFL and even some college games. Although Chuck does not share my passion of football, he will watch tons of basketball games. When it comes to the Packers he is a "Fair Weather Fan". He'll watch the Packer games with all four kids and me but would rather putz around in the garage instead. (Weirdo :lmao: )

Woah...look at the time! Gotta fly.

GO PHOENIX SUNS!!!!:cheer2:

Poor dog:lmao: I've actually been sleeping quite a bit better lately, I guess the sister thing is over, the house is going smoothly so far, so i have nothing to keep me awake as much:confused3 , sorry to hear you're up so ealry Nancy, - you desever a little "sofa snooze" mid afternoon;)

Its me in our house that does the gardening - I have to drag Neil out to dig the big stuff, but otherwise its all down to me - dont think he even knows how to operate the lawnmower:confused3

Ooooooh Nancy - stick it on you tube so we can all laugh..erm...I mean support and congratulate Chuck on his efforts;)

Missy what a BEAUTIFUL picture! I wish I was there right now!!!!!!!!! Castaway Cay is the island I am most looking forward to on the cruise :thumbsup2 With this being our 4th western cruise we seem to be running out of things we want to do on the other islands. I just loved the layed back, relaxing atmosphere at Castaway Cay!

Cheryl I know what you mean!!::yes:: I sure could being lounging in one of those beach chairs right now, sipping on the drink of the day!!:drinking1

I got ahead of myself with shopping for the kids clothing for the cruise..... I don't think either of them will fit come the cruise..... I still need to find him a tie and slacks. I guess I should get on the ball with his shopping.

Carrie I understand completely.:scared1: I don't have any girls to buy for (sometimes I think that is a blessing) but I do have 2 boys that seem to outgrow things as fast as I can buy them.:rotfl: They aren't quite old enough to be particular yet with the styles, etc., so they are usually okay with whatever I get. I just have to wait until closer to cruise time, to be sure they fit!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Carrie - I believe the cruise line frowns on tape but you can use magnets if you want!.......Also the cruise line offers packages for birthdays, bon voyages, etc......banners, a cake, etc......but of course they cost some $$$. You can find info on their website for this.......its expensive but they do all the work.....and it's usually done before you even get on board!:goodvibes

My boys love to collect trading pins!!:) We went to WDW back in February and they ran around like crazy kids trading with anyone and everyone!! :rotfl: :rotfl: I think they may have a special meet and greet type of thing on board ship one day for pin traders but we have never done this. I don't think the boys have ever thought about trading on board ship......they are always too busy living in the Mickey Pool and eating Mickey Ear Bars and Chicken Strips!!!!  Just FYI - getting started is a little expensive.....they do have "starter kits" that run between $25 and $50. They come with a lanyard and 4 to 6 pins depending. The cost for average individual pins is usually $6 - $9 depending. You can go to the web site for WDW and search pin trading. This will take you to all kinds for links for more pin trading information!!;)

Al would like one of those luggage guys to lug our stuff out of the house and into the trunk of my sister's car for the ride to the airport and then another one to pack 5 peoples luggage into the mini van that we will be sharing with our friends when we get to FL :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Cheryl - I have a luggage guy too.......His name is Mike!:rotfl2:rotfl2: : :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: (he's my DH)!

What very important jobs you have!! But I'm jealous, you're lucky you can DIS while at work! The hospital I work at heavily monitors what the internet at work is used for and it is not to be used for anything not work related  They don't even want us using the internet during our lunch. The only time I can DIS from work is when I stay there while on call but I am not on the clock and then I can only "lurk" and not log in and post.

Cheryl - they monitor our internet usage too........oh well!!!!  What kind of work do you do?
