Here's a photo of DH and DD (Alex) in St. Thomas Dec 05. Julia and I were on the ship having a nap this day. She had a major melt down that morning in the streets of St. Thomas. :scared1:

Another great photo Lori. St Thomas was a favorite of mine. I think we have the same picture. Ask Scott if there was a dressed up donkey there who posed for picutres with tourists. We paid his owner one whole dollar to have our picture taken with the donkey. There was another cruiser (not Disney) who was arguing with the guy about paying a dollar for a picture. GEEEZ..it was only a buck, just pay the man. It was probably his livelyhood.

Why do you women always feel you may "NEED" that dress you haven't wore in ten years for "just in case"....Hello!! just spare a thought for the poor old pit pony having to carry this lot.....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

The only reasons we have not woren that dress in ten years is because you men don't take us anywhere fancy enough to wear those dresses. That is why we like cruises so much because we can dress up in the clothes we never get to wear. In our case we are hiring one of those lugage guys at the airport to haul our stuff around.

We had a BAD day:headache:

Before Kira and I got out of bed this morning, Rob had lost a $200,000 order.
Then we found out that we lost that house, they got a good offer on it this morning.

Rob was gone for the evening for business and I was very upset so I took Kira for a walk, by the time I got home I was in tears. (I'm normally not a crier but I really really LOVED this house! ) Then I grabbed Kira and we went out in the back to let our dogs, Lilo & Stitch out. They started wrestling each other like always and Kira was watching them....

and she LAUGHED! :sad1:

For the very first time...she laughed!!!! My tears of sorrow turned to tears of joy.

It's amazing what a laugh can do

Cass, I am so sorry to hear about your bad day. I know you were really looking forward to getting the house. :sad2: Just think of it this way. It was not meant to be at this point in time. Keep looking because I think you will find something that you will like a whole lot more. You deffinatly had an emotional day. I remember Mackenzie's first laugh. It was also at our dog. I was so happy that she laughed but then I was depressed that it was at the dog and not something that either myself or daddy did. Mark the day down on your calendar as a special day. I kept track of all of Mackenzie's firsts.

I commend you for traveling with your parents. I love my mum and dad dearly and for a few days, we would have a blast, however its hard work if the age difference and what they want to do come into play. I would definately be drinking, just to help me keep a fixed smile on my face!:)

Welcome to come and join me for a quick drink, anytime :thumbsup2
If we fall of the bar stools, it will be because of rough seas, not because we drank too many martinis !:rotfl:

Don't get me wrong and all, I love my parents very much, but there is a big age difference. Then of course they want to spend as much time as a family as possible. My father does not travel well at all he gets very grumpy and yells at me the whole time. Now that my moms had her health problems I really don't think they will do much but complain that they can not do things with us. Let alone what they want to do and what I want to do are completly different things.
Just thinking of it makes me want to drink. :drinking1
Thank you I will take you up on the drink while we are there. I always use the excuse of the ship swaying when I walk into the walls. I never thought of it when I fall of the chair. Good thinking :thumbsup2

Hey Jeff, now that I'm at work without dial-up, can you please repost the link to the Magic leaving Florida again?

BTW, anyone read the post about the two new DCL ships? Someone posted that they are staying in Florida, the Magic will stay in CA, and the Wonder will be a floater ship. What is a "floater" ship? Anyone know?

Hey someone else that has dial-up. This is so slow with it. I can not stand it. We are trying to wait until after the cruise to get cable but the more I am on DIS the more I want cable.

As far as I know a floater ship is one that will go back and forth from CA, to FL. But stop of different ports each time. That way it is not always the same. Holland America had one for a while but it did not do well.

:rotfl: That is the best....I think Chris has a suite, so that he never has to let Rosie out of the room. My DS is showing interest in girls, I'm not real comfortable w/that, and DH is better w/it, but I remind him, will he be so understanding when his princess DD who is going on 8 gets to that age:laughing:

Thank goodness I am not alone on this. :worship: Our DS is 11 and has started noticing girls or should I say what girls have, if you know what I mean. I drives me nuts. But DH says it is a normal thing. Our DD is 12 and likes guys but nothing to serious at this point in time. I really don't think we have to worry about her. We will have to worry about the guy she is with becuase she is so strong minded and does what she wants. My concern is 100% on our DS.

Can you get DSL in your area? It may not be as fast as cable, but it is much faster than dial up. It usually costs a lot less than cable too.

I have cable both at home and work, so I can't comment on DSL other than what I've seen.

Just a though.

Hi Linda,

My apologizes to you.
I have been totally crazy lately. May has been an extremely busy month for some reason and I have had to temporarily ignore anything beyond June.
I have gotten your Emails and I assure you I will get back to you probably in the next two weeks as things will be quieting down for me in June.
We should be able to do the function you are requesting. I can check on it for you but wont be able to actually confirm anything until 30 days prior.
I appreciate your patience and will be contacting you shortly.

Thank you,

Dorothy

Yippy Yeah, I can not wait.:cool1:  :cheer2:

DSL is not available in our area. Get this it is available less then 1 mile away but not in our community. Go figure. My only choices are dail-up or cable and I really don't want cable because I hate out cable company and want to swith to dish when we get back home also. But then that will not help with internet.

Morning Chris, you're up early.

What category is that for?

Maybe cruises are cheaper for you over there because for our family of 5 to go on this cruise with airfair it is costing us roughly $6500.00 and we are mid ship so we did not go for a family room either.

Mrs loo loo i mentioned to Jess "do you fancy wine tasting love"...Er "Ok has long as we can drink it and not have to spit it out".....:sad2:

ps....This is from her mother's side of the family, put my two drunks down will you dear.......:rolleyes1

For DSL, you need to be within so many feet of the connection point (forgot the actual term for this location).

Any chance they have fiber in your area? Faster than cable, they can do TV over it and it is usually cheaper.

We actually switched from Dish to Cable last fall. With the package we got, we saved about $30 a month and go more service.

Chris,

They will have to be 21 to do the tasting.

Carrie,

Aren't you Cat 6, Deck 6? How did you manage that room for 5 people? That would sleep 4 at best.

I have never heard of fiber I would have to check into that one. Thanks for the input on DSL I did not know that. Our cable company is horrible, they have raised rates 3 times in 6 months, and they change channel line ups without telling us. We go to a channel and it is gone then we have to search for it. Drives me nuts.
