What new bar? Do you mean Diversions? Can't remember what that use to be called, but it is now the Sports Bar.

I'm unaware of any new bars on the ship.

Thanks Janice,our season has now finished BUT now we start with the almost weekly Knockout tournaments of which we have two this weekend,each club has "their" Gala so in many ways their no more than a annual fund raiser for each club.....

ps....Just lately i seem to be more busy than when i had a job,i've just turned down a 9 week contract in gibraltar because of other commitments....

PPS....And seeing the magic every 10 days and not being able to get on it was a deciding factor too....

I can relate to busy, Mark is gone for 2 wks for work. So besides working all day, I am also taxi driver, chef, lawn mower, and whatever falls into the day. We are in the middle of our soccer (football) season, so practice a few nights a week, plus games of tournaments every weekend. And I have two involved, so twice the running.

Glad to see you check in every now and then though. So what exactly do you do? If you don't mind be asking?

I just looked at the post counts and the cruise that is happening right now is at 9121 with no posts in a couple of days, and we are at 8307. 15 more and we take them.

BTW, they must have cleared some of the slow/dead threads because the thread right ahead of us is now #10. So when we pass them, we will be in the top 10.

Why don't you PM me so I don't have to look back for info. Why don't you give me the sizes you need as well, this way I can have an idea of what we need. Thanks.

Actually, for everyone else, if you could send me a PM with "Bracelets" in the subject line and tell me how many you think you need at this point, sizes too if possible, that would be great. It is not a committment, just a point of research for me so I can find the best deal out there. I will PM or publicly post before I place a final order to confirm what people want.

Morning all! Sorry I haven't posted much lately. There are so many posts to read that by the time my idiot brain reads them all, I don't have much time to post. You know I am a very busy woman!

I don't have much to add to the posts, so I will add a pic. Here is Derek performing his Science Fair experiment yesterday. He extracted DNA from 3 different apples (1 room temp, 1 cold, 1 hot) to see if the DNA "held up" with the temp change. His conclusion was that he could see why we do not store our food in heat....he couldn't retrieve as much DNA in the hot apple. The blue sludge is the DNA. Earth moving stuff, huh?

Cass, here's a hint on the cereal thing. Keep the spoon in her mouth for a few seconds. She needs to learn to use her tongue. Her reflex will be to push the spoon out of her mouth, but after a day or two, she'll teach herself how to use it. I use to actually push up on the chin to close the mouth so they could learn to do it. Put very little on the spoon so she doesn't gag. Gosh, I miss those days. (I knew those Child Development classes would come in handy one day. )

Hi all This is the DH, just wanted to finally sneak in while DW is at work and say hello to all of you across the pond and here in the states. We are really looking forward to meeting all of you. We enjoy all the great posts and look forward to many,many, many more. We are competitive ones to push this thread to be #1. If I can get on when DW is in bed and help out in the late hours, I will. Not sure who is up then. Looking forward to talking again.
