Getting hard to keep up with everyone and everything

So Hello to everyone:wave2:

And dust stuff to everyonepixiedust:

That should cover it:)

That helps quite a bit! :) I was right--what you had was a wine made from the Riesling grape. There are 6 levels of sweetness in Riesling. They range from Kabinett (dryest) to Eiswein (extremely sweet dessert wine.) Although Kabinett are the "driest" they are still a sweet wine. Very easy-going. Almost all Rieslings are sweet unless they are specifically called a "Dry Riesling." And that ends your tutorial on wine--hope it wasn't too boring. :snooty:

That helps alot. I am so shocked. My Beringer is only $5 a bottle, and Guntrum was $22 a bottle. My tastes are increasing. :rolleyes1

Thank you so much for all the PMs, my in box is full and I will try and get to type to each of you soon, promise! :) thank you for your support, it means a lot really.

Linda,

Don't worry about responding to the PM's. We just want you to know we are thinking about you and your family. I for one feel your updates here are enough of a response. You don't have the time to sit and respond individually right now.

Well said Beefcake!

Linda, we will all be thinking about you tomorrow. Keep us informed when you have a chance. :grouphug:

Hi everyone. I know that I have missed so much. I have just read the last couple of pages and see that Linda is kicking butt at school...Go Lindy Loo! You fight for your girl!

The trip across country was fine....long. We are here in Louisiana, and we've gotten a bit of bad news. Rob's mom's breast cancer is back. She had a lumpectomy yesterday and found out today that the lump is malignant. The surgeon thinks he got it all but they will do a mastectomy tomorrow. She went through this almost exactly 7 years ago. It seems the cancer has decided to recur in the other breast. Please say a prayer for her. If it is like last time, she will be fine, but we are concerned nonetheless.

Also, Rob has gone to VA to get us a house on base and alas, there are none. So we are homeless until we travel there at the end of July..haha.

Y'all have a great week and I will try to check in soon.

What else have I missed?

Paige

:cheer2: WELCOME BACK Paige!! :cheer2:

Glad the trip went well but sorry to hear about Rob's mom. Seems like my prayer list for cancer patients just keeps growing and growing. Believe it or not my list tops 14 now. :sad2:

I hope you find a house soon too.:)

Hi Rose and Lori :yay:

Rose, I love your new avatar although it makes Lori nervous. Lori, that's one of the funniest things I read today. Thanks for the laughs.

Well, guess who isn't laughing? My neighbor! Seems like Mr. Fed Ex dropped off another box while I was cooking and Chuck was otherwise busy. Cabo needed to check out the insides AGAIN!!!

He didn't get to destroy too much but there are bite marks on the inside boxes. Here's the even worse part. The box was delivered to our house instead of our neighbors house. I called her (phone number was on the box) and explained that Cabo got at it. She seemed ok with it on the phone. I walked it over and now she seemed a little p'-o'd. I'm thinking she was lucky to even get the box. Some other people may have just kept it instead. I never had to sign for it.

I apologized again and as I walked away I could hear her in the house talking to someone and she described me using a certain adjective that begins with an "F" and a noun that begins with a "B".:scared1: YIKES!! I sure didn't deserve that! Boy, you try to be a good neighbor. Just wait until the next box that is delivered here by mistake.

Nancy, I thought you were going to get a big package box to have the deliveries put in so Cabo wouldn't eat them:upsidedow

Karen great house news!:cool1:

Paige, glad to hear from you, hope your housing search goes wellpixiedust:

Linda, Best of luck to you too:wizard: and hugs:grouphug:

Heather, read your trip report:thumbsup2
Need to see lots more pictures!

Chris, hope your yard dries out soon:eek:
