Steve,

Wanna go together and have a crab leg-eating contest? My husband (weirdo) won't touch them! :confused3

:lmao: I'll probably loose though, I'm the slowest crab cracker! We go to a place called "Joe's Crab Shack" (they have the most wonderful BBQ crab legs!) Everyone is always waiting on me to finish.

Nancy, I agree with Jeff, if you can, try Palo for dinner. We are plain food eaters (Rob eats more variety than I do, but I am a meat and potatoes girl) and we both had the filet and it was delicious. I also don't like souffle but since everyone recommended it, I tried it and it was heaven!!! I even tried the other desserts and by name only I didn't care for them but then I tasted them and they were GOOD! But souffle is best! ;)

I didn't care for the brunch, however. They had a lot of fancy stuff, lots of seafood blech and we don't drink, so there wasn't much for us. I tried caviar for the first time and almost puked  Rob took pictures :sad2:

BUT if you like trying new foods and you like seafood, then the Brunch is for you!!!

We aren't doing Palo this time because we will be with Rob's family and we don't want to abandon them at dinner.

If you don't like seafood, a good night for Palo is Captain's Gala night (semi-formal) as it is a big seafood night. I don't like anything on that menu, but I don't want to skip the dinner because my all time fave dessert is served that night, Amaretto cheesecake!!!!!!!!!! :cloud9:  I think I will pop in at Pluto's before dinner for some chicken strips :lmao:

I have tons of Palo food pics, I can try to get some uploaded to Photobucket and post them here so everyone can drool.

If I remember correctly, it was actually made with lemon sorbet - for the slushy part - and then they added lemoncello and vodka.

It's been almost two years so my memory may be faulty. ;)

You are correct - that drink was not undelicious! :rotfl2:

Those brunch pictures make me soooo hungry!

Is she going to be on this cruise also. Mackenzie will be so happy to hear that someone else has the same b-day.

Yes, Stacy will be on the cruise with us. They'll have to pose together as the Birthday Girls.

Kettle called, says it is still black. :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

As I said above, go to dinner. You can get a really good cut of beef and some other excellent items. Check out the menu.

No red meat for this girl. I'd eat the tail off of a skunk before I'd eat a steak. (Unless skunk tail is considered red meat).:rotfl2:

Just stopped in for a quick peaky tonight. Off to bed for me now. Chuck and I had a morning of pole painting (definitely not to be confused with pole dancing) and I'm dead tired now.

The restaurant that Tony is G.M. of had some major repairs that needed to be done so we spent the day there. Extra excursion money for us. Looks like we're still doing the Dune Buggies in Cozumel.

Later people!

I got DH involved in the Palo thing. We looked at all the pics on castaway club, and the menus. I think we are going to pass. We really can't do dinner because we are with my parents and don't want to leave them alone for dinner. As for brunch, DH and I have decided that we are the :snooty: of the bunch. It does not look like anything special to us. Then again we are the ones that like places like Dual and Melting Pot. So we have high expectations when it comes to things like that. I did think the tea looked like a good thing but DH is not all that interested. Thank you everyone for you input.

Can anyone answer the following???

My in-laws live in Florida and will be bringing us to the Port. Is there a place that they can drop us off? Will they have to pay for parking or is there a quick drop-off point like at some airports?? Thanks!

Yes, they can. Just make sure you have your cruise documentation to hand as you pull up to the check point.

I'm with your husband, I hate any shellfish.

My filet mignon yum!

Anyone spotted the hidden mickey???

It's called a Scorpini and it's got Champange, vodka and lemon ice in it.
Rick will be right behind you Cass, in the line for chicken strips :rotfl:

Ok since we are all talking about food. Can the kids order of the adult menus at dinner?

Yes.

I'm off to work now (it's 5.55am), my first day back. Not looking forward to all those emails.

Speak later - Heather

:scared: I'm with your hubby - ewk!

Maybe if Karen and Neil and Suz and I skip we could do a mini-dis meet over dinner in Topsiders that night. :thumbsup2 Although, I think Karen is already trying to get away from her tablemates. :sad1:

We arent trying to escape honest;) - you might be gateful for a night away from us anyway - it sounds like we'll be on the same excursions, same dinner table, same place for Key West sunset - by day 4 you might be saying "Quick Suz, duck,.... here comes that mad english woman who we cant understand:rotfl2:

You would book it like any other excursion when you are able to. We, or should I say Suz, wants to do the island tour after it and then go to the beach. I think it will be too much crammed in that day.

Thats my question too - we want the first pirate boat, then catch a taxi to 7 mile beach - looked so lovely from your photos. What time are we back onboard that day?

I'll join you guys for the crab legs.

You also wanted to steal my lobster if I remember rightly. Be nice to me Mister or I'll give it to Suz instead:lmao:

Phoning the solicitor at 9am, wish me luck:rolleyes: - trying to get the moving date off her is like asking for the house to be made of gold - impossible.

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooo ready to move. The only date shes given us so far is the 29th, theonly weekend we didnt want to move cos its Ellis' first ever Beaver camp with Daddy. If we can do it on the 22nd instead, while the boys are off camping I can get 3 rooms painted.

Calling all Harry Potter fans

I got the Goblet and Half blood books yesterday.

Whats missing?

So far I can think of:

Chamber of secrets
Philosopher stone
Deathly Hallows
Order of Phoenix
Prisoner of Azkaban

What order should I read them in?

Just noticed on Amzaon that there are childrens versions and adult versions?

Thank you

Karen

Sorry guys, just jumping in. been off line for a day or so.

Happy Birthday to Nancys DD Kristin ! :thumbsup2

Elouise had a fab party, but sadly there was an incident at school on Friday where a boy ( who we have had issues with before) put a skipping rope in elouises mouth and tied her to a tree. ! Im very upset about this and elouise had a nightmare Sat night and wet the bed ( which was was soooo upset and embarassed about ) I saw the head today, who basically said no one saw the incident... Hello yes 2 other kids at least have said they saw it , but have you asked them NO!

Wayne and I have insisted we have an appointment at 2pm today to sit and get the facts. Im so upset as elouises cried for the first time about going to school today, and I felt so mean making her go. This boy has some learning problems i think, he is very very bright, but cant actually paly nicely ( the punches bites spits etc) I feel for him and his parents, however Elouises safety at school has to be the main priority for me.

Please send me so pixie dust, im so uptight I feel sick right now.

L x

PS thanks for letting me share with you X
