We got our cruise planning kit 3 days ago. So hopefully Nancy you will get yours soon! That is if Mike and Robin forward it on to you

Hi everyone, this is Tony, Nancy's son.

Unfortunately, my mom is in the hospital because she was apparently on her computer at work this afternoon and fell backwards off her chair and cracked her head open on the desk behind her.

I talked to her boss and she said that all they heard was my mom laughing her butt off and then kerplunk, back she went.

We just got back from the hospital and she doesn't recognize us anymore.

She just keeps repeating...

Hi hi hi! I'm finally back online here with you guys!

We had a great time in WDW. Couldn't have asked for better weather! It was cooler in FL than it was here in the DC area! Mid 80's, low humidity and breezy. Katie celebrated her 5th b'day in grand style! We had a wonderful time, and am looking forward to going back in October.

Glad to be home, but missing WDW already!

Glad to have you back. Great to hear that you had a good time. Sorry about the pink eye. I have had it twice and it is like people run from you just to avoid it. I still don't have my kit. Another question to call my AAA and ask but then again I have left 3 messages now and she still won't return my calls. I am so done with AAA. From now on I book everything myself.

I wonder if you get one if you booked through someone other than Disney?? Has anyone out there not booking through DCL gotten a kit yet????

We are in the middle of a huge thunderstorm!! First one of the season and it is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, I know I am strange, this is my favourite kind of weather!!!!!!!
I get kind of depressed when it's hot and sunny but when this weather comes, I am happy as a clam!!!

Hi Janice We got ours 3 days ago. We've cruised before and we booked directly through DCL. Maybe that does have something to do with it

Hi everybody!! Ohmygosh!!! I haven't been on for a week and there is no way my little Zachary will leave me alone long enough to read through all the pages. (I keep trying to sneek away to watch the French Open, but somehow I always get dragged back to play Thomas the Tank Engine!)

Cheeseheads--is this crazy weather or what? Spent Monday at Old World Wisconsin with Teddy. We ran around like maniacs all day trying not to get completely soaked. Teddy turned 10 on Tuesday--can't believe it was ten years ago that he came into our lives.

Jessalynn,
I am a partner in a private firm that provides managed security services to businesses. We also do communication technologies as well. This is the job that provides for me. The other job I perform is done for free, I provide as much as I can back to the world. One of the twins has down syndrome (Alyssa). She just had a second surgery on her ankles to correct her in-step. I got the bill this week which was over $20,000 for this last procedure. Our insurance picked up 50% of that and a program that Alyssa belongs to picked up the balance. The first surgery was much the same. She also had major heart surgery shortly after being born and it too was almost the same scenario. Since there is a program that has taken care of such large loose ends with Alyssa, I work very hard to make sure it is given back. I also work for a company serving over 300 participants like Alyssa (only older) that provide day services, jobs and care. As much as it would be nice to have a second wage, doing it for free is one of the best ways to balance off what the world does for Alyssa.

Today the twins are fine! Fingers crossed, no calls yets from the nurses office and only a couple of hours left in school. Now I am not sure what to do about telling them about the trip. Surprise them the day of, week of or sooner. I'm going to share those ideas with Dawn and make her decide.

We talked a few weeks ago about being one of the few people that were flying down on Saturday, but guess what?? Our flight got cancelled soooooo now we are flying down on Friday and home on Sunday. Luckily my in-laws live in Florida so we can crash with them at least one of the nights. I do have to admit that although I was thoroughly frustrated with the airline I am a little relieved that we will be in Florida on Friday night.

Good for you Victoria. At least you'll have no problem being there the next morning if the traffic is bad due to the "L".

We're still flying in on Saturday morning.

Thanks - I have been meaning to write you - you said a long time back that you and your son are both ADHD but are not taking Meds anymore. how is that going?

My neice who lives with me (since she was 6) has been on ADHD meds since she was about 8 (we tried several different options before finally trying them). Every year we try her without meds for a week but we always wind up putting her back on - especially during school.

Are you finding a big difference
