O.K. I know we are still over 5 months away, but has anyone else gone out looking at the menus? Must be getting hungry for lunch, because everything looks sooooo good.

I've picked out what I want based on what the current menus on castawayclub.com are showing.

Karen, hope you don't mind me slobbering up with ribs on our first night at dinner. That ought to make for a great first impression.

I think I'm going to try something different than I usually get except for the first time in Lumiere's (I'm getting the Duck again) and the Captain's Gala Dinner (Lobster of course). I like to try different items when we go. Sometimes that is not always the best and we are (or should I say I'm) heading to Pluto's for chicken fingers or a burger. No, usually I have good luck. Suz won't send anything back she doesn't like. In reality, you should. The servers want you to be happy with your food. I've heard somewhere that their rating is based on your overall experience in the dining room, including the food.

Heres a picture of the glass beer mug! Its very heavy! and its much cheaper to drink beer this way, and makes a great " keepsake" too !

This was on the FIRST day, at about 2pm.... boarded about 1pm, beer mug brought in less than an hour !

I'm not a beer drinker, but do you remember the price of the glass and what the price difference was between the regular beers (and what size those are) and the large beers (and what size that is)?

Yeah, I know, another Milwaukean that doesn't drink beer. I will actually have one if it is really hot out, I'm really thirsty, and the beer is really cold. Otherwise, I take to long to drink it and the beer gets warm and flat. Yuck.

Oh, thanks for taunting me. Is it time for lunch yet. Unfortunately Mickey Bars are off my menu until I get on the ship. Just got back on the treadmill yesterday morning.

DS I think only had one last trip, with sprinkles of course. He didn't eat much in the line of deserts. But he'd go to Deck 9 for Ice Cream every day/night.

Hello everyone. My family and I will be cruising with Goofyfreak on October 20 and she has been raving about the disboards for months. "You should join, you should join" so today, against my will, she has held a weapon to my head and made me join in on your conversation. Here's hoping that all those I am about to converse with are not as dangerous or twisted as she! My name is Missy, my DH (how's that for a beginner) is Mike and my 2 DS's (wow I'm good) are Cody (age 9) and Shane (age 6). We will also be joined on board by my neighbors Brad, Heather and Matthew (age 6). If it is not too soon, or too presumptious, we would like to add ourselves to the beer and wine tasting extravaganza!! (the four adults!). I'm still trying to convince Lori (aka Goofyfreak) to come along for the fun of it! This will be our third cruise, our first to the Western Caribbean! We are very excited about seeing new places and now, through the disboards, meeting new friends!

Wow!! What a great itenirary!! Lori and I are sitting here at work reading over the boards and we are so jealous of you!!! We want to go to Alaska!!! Have a great time at the baseball game. We are about an hour and a half south of Baltimore Maryland, the Orioles home town! We cheer for them on many occasions! The only advice I can give you about a professional baseball game is have a hot dog and a beer. They never seem to taste as good anywhere else than they do at the ball park! Enjoy your stay in the U.S.!!
