O.K. I know we are still over 5 months away, but has anyone else gone out looking at the menus? Must be getting hungry for lunch, because everything looks sooooo good.

I've picked out what I want based on what the current menus on castawayclub.com are showing.

Karen, hope you don't mind me slobbering up with ribs on our first night at dinner. That ought to make for a great first impression.

I think I'm going to try something different than I usually get except for the first time in Lumiere's (I'm getting the Duck again) and the Captain's Gala Dinner (Lobster of course). I like to try different items when we go. Sometimes that is not always the best and we are (or should I say I'm) heading to Pluto's for chicken fingers or a burger. No, usually I have good luck. Suz won't send anything back she doesn't like. In reality, you should. The servers want you to be happy with your food. I've heard somewhere that their rating is based on your overall experience in the dining room, including the food.

Is it lunch time yet?

I looked at the menus about a month ago. My DH normally likes one app, one salad, possilbly one soup, two entrees, and one dessert. I on the other hand will normally do one app, no salad, one soup, one entree and every dessert offerd. Nothing like trying new things. Except it makes us look like pigs.

We're now planning yet another trip to Florida in July.
This time we'll get to go to Disney! Yeah!

My son is seriously looking at a college down there....FIT Florida Institute of Technology, in Melbourne.
So we've just called today to schedule an interview and campus tour in July.

FIT is near to NASA....which they also get to do some internships there...my son wants to go into astronomy and astrophysics so this is a great school for that, but also because:

it's only about an hour away from Disney!
So when I go down to visit him.....

My cousin lives in Miami and so we'll go down to visit and stay with her and
she said she hasn't been there since her daughter was born and hasn't taken her there yet.... she is now 3.

So we'll go visit Sean's college and then all go up to visit Disney for a day or two!

Hello everyone. My family and I will be cruising with Goofyfreak on October 20 and she has been raving about the disboards for months. "You should join, you should join" so today, against my will, she has held a weapon to my head and made me join in on your conversation. Here's hoping that all those I am about to converse with are not as dangerous or twisted as she! My name is Missy, my DH (how's that for a beginner) is Mike and my 2 DS's (wow I'm good) are Cody (age 9) and Shane (age 6). We will also be joined on board by my neighbors Brad, Heather and Matthew (age 6). If it is not too soon, or too presumptious, we would like to add ourselves to the beer and wine tasting extravaganza!! (the four adults!). I'm still trying to convince Lori (aka Goofyfreak) to come along for the fun of it! This will be our third cruise, our first to the Western Caribbean! We are very excited about seeing new places and now, through the disboards, meeting new friends!

Hi and thanks for the welcome!! You are so right.....everyone has been really great. This seems to be a great place for all sorts of information, tips and ideas. This will be our third cruise (our first to the Western Caribbean) but I'm just as excited as I was waiting to sail for the first time! Can't wait!

My DD's name is also Mackenzie, she will be 5 on the cruise. Welcome to the cruising club. Once you take one you will be hooked. I am 29 years old and this will be cruise number 9 for me, number 3 for my dh and first for all the kids. Ever since I got on this board I have done nothing but dream of DIS my DH is wishing the trip will come faster just so I stop talking about it all the time.

This whole thing is new to me. I am a little behind on the technology age. What seems to slow me down are all the abrevations. I have to keep asking my oldest what they mean.

I will be honest with all of you that planning this trip has been major stress and . It seems like we keep hiting road blocks. We have had this trip booked for a little over 2 years now. Which seems to be part of the problem. AAA has messed with our res something horrible . I just can not wait to get on the ship and not have to worry about anything. I just hope I that I have to put this so high up on a pedistal that I will be let down in the long run.
