No news today - sis just emailed me...her doc wasnt there today so she has to wait til tomorow - another sleepless night waiting

I think we're going for the 16th. -- unless I change my mind and itinary AGAIN!

It will be our first time. Really looking forward to it.. Any candy we collect will be distributed to the cruising kids (and grown ups ), cos Ellis hardly eats any sweets , chocolate yes, sweets no - he's never bothered about them.

What time can we go in from? - I think its about 5pm? I'll be interested to see how they get people out ...surely people who dont want to ride the rides could just stay in all day and watch the halloween parade ertc for free?

This trip is full of new things - it's going to be sooooooo exciting

The party is awesome. They give you a wrist band when you enter with your tickets. you can usually arrive after 4pm. at 7 if you don't have on a wrist band they tell you to leave. they won't even sell you anything in the stores after the start of the party without a wristband. i think from what ive been told is that they are very strict about it.
2 1/2 weeks of disney sounds great to me!!! we love seaworld too. when we went in feb. they had to postpone the shamu show twice that day becuase one of the whales wouldn't leave the big tank. it just kept swimming in circles. finally when we arrived for the third time it suddenly went to the back and the show went on. they said that had only happened a couple of times in the history of seaworld.
i work in the medical field so i know about results not getting to people in a timely fashion. but i'm sure there's a good reason. good luck for tomorrow!!

Hey everybody! I just wanted to thank you all again for your good thoughts while I was waiting on test results. I did finally get one back today which is now leading to more tests. Had an ultrasound this morning and will be having a colonoscopy on the 14th (at least I get a 3-day weekend...and I'm guaranteed to lose a few pounds!).

Karen, I'm sorry that you are still waiting to hear something...it's frustrating, I know. I hope you and your sister get some good news soon.

There are new life jackets on board the Magic and they are much more comfortable than the old ones - lighter and now you can actually move your head! Personally I think this is a real improvement because if I'm floating helplessly in the ocean I'd like to have full range of motion to see the sharks before they devour me.

There it is Brenda. The line that still makes me laugh!! If I were the Tag Fairy, you'd definitely get tagged with this one somehow!

Hello everyone!

We're finally all moved in! I see I've missed a lot. I'll catch up with everything as soon as I can, we're both just so exausted!

Now the unpacking comes. I haven't even unpacked my desktop yet, I'm sitting here on my laptop!

Having to police my wedding website now too apparently, people from here on the community board are going over there and harassing me in my wedding guestbook. So immature I have to just laugh lol. Wanted to make fun of me because of our fanny packs. Um hello, have you TAKEN a look at how many people wear fanny packs at Disney World? I know I'd leave a purse somewhere, I just know I would LOL!

We lost our two budgies today (parakeets) and it was very upsetting. I went into their room to feed them and there they were... both had passed away. Very very shaken up after that! We're going to give them a proper burial after the ground dries up a bit though!

That's all from here... just gotta start unpacking everything god help me HA!

Liz so sorry about your birds, it must be so upsetting for you both.
As for the nasty people on your Website, I really think a mod should get involved on this, where the DIS is concerned, and as for the rest, carry on policing it, or put a security invite on it ??

The tours are really great . They even have a family one so the kiddies can join in - you have to run around the park looking for a baddie - its Captain Hook I think. Its sounds like fun, but we have no time to do it this holiday. Our schedule is packed tight enough. We are doing Seaworld - I have to see Shamu every time I go - I love those whales. The one time we were the only people by the viewing window and Shamu came to the glass for ages. I have some amazing photos of him up so close but I cant post them cos they were old negative type ones before we had our digital camera. He played with us for a good 15 minutes before antoher family showed up and then he just swam away and wouldnt come back. Its a real treassured memory. Ellis was only about 15 months old and was standing by the glass, Shamu put his face right by where Ellis was touching and the photo looks like Ellis is stroking his face

We did the Family magic tour last year. It is GREAT for kids from about 4 yrs to 10 yrs. If anyone wants more info or pics just ask.

Where has everyone been the last cuple of days? I know Karen has been packing boxes, and now Chris, Linda, and Wayne are planning a burning down of Man U's stadium, I imagine. When our team (LSU Tiger football) loses, we always call them names (I like to call them "pigs".) and it makes us feel better. Unfortunately a few expletives come out too.
