Elouise is very excited to be sharing a table with your children and Seans Daughter Olivia. We may let her stay in the kids clubs some evenings, as she loves the activites in there. Though this yr she will move up to the 5/7 age group. Karen will Ellis be in this one? Or will he be 8 by Oct?

I think having a large table will be fun, it will be great discussing what we have all been up to during the day.:thumbsup2 The kids will have a blast. All the adults seem to be pretty easy going, so it will be a relaxing way to enjoy dinner.
Just to warn you though, we wont be too over dressed for formal night ( no flames please!) Elouise has a fab black little number, however for me and Wayne its too much luggage space, that could be "shopping" instead.;) We will always be smart and respectable, but no long dress and Tux for us. We may even eat at the buffet that night, not sure yet. whilsr we love the meals, it would be great one night to enjoy the pools a bit later, and not be rushing around.

Another question...about making Palo ressies. Is the 90 day mark from the first day of the cruise or the date you want to go to Palo? I just want to double check what I wrote on my calendar because I think I will be "in transit" in Louisiana when that date comes around.

Paige, it is 90 days from the start of the cruise. You can book any day you want during the cruise on the 90th day. You will want to have internet access at 3:00 a.m. EDT (2:00 a.m. Central, 8:00 a.m. for the Brits) to get first crack at them. I forgot to check, what day of the week is it? I hope it's a weekend. If my math is correct, it should be a Sunday morning.

Finally, could you all keep your fingers crossed that Rob finishes up his thesis in the next couple of weeks? If I have to hear very much more about cost estimation and the DoD.....suffice it to say it is all WAY over my head. :scared: :lmao: He actually had no mention of the thesis today. This morning he was talking about being on the verandah with the sun beating down on him.....now that's more like it!:woohoo:

Good luck to Rob. pixiedust: At least he's getting his mind on the cruise. :thumbsup2

Guess if the waters that price, it makes the beer look a bargain ! ;)

That will be Waynes logic :lmao: :lmao:

Never thought of it that way, but I like his thinking. Remember, they have the large mug that can be refilled at the smaller size prices. :thumbsup2

P -4 until my 1,000th post.

Ummm Karen......the Magic is the one that sails to St. Thomas. (just teasing you) The Wonder only goes to the Bahamas (unless it is on a special cruise).

P -5 until my 1,000th post.

You know what I mean - I meant to say on the western:goodvibes

I hope this countdown to 1000 posts is worth it. Hope you have something good to say on this 1000th post.

Karen hows the house situation? your sister, Ellis's school etc etc

loads of pixie dust stuff blowing your way ....pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Lindy - yes Ellis will be in the 5-7 years club. He'll be just 7 when we cruise. No long dress or suit for us either. We abandon half our clothes anyway in favour of souveniers and shopping, and theres no way I'm throwing Neils suit away cos it wont fit in the case! Neil will be in a shirt and tie and me in a dress but one just below the knee - no room for a long one.

Glad you've sorted out your tablemates - it sounds like a fun bunch.:cool1: At least you wont have that uncomfortable first night silence that you get with strangers!:rolleyes1

So far so good on the house, we instructed our solicitors today and told them to get a move one. We filled in the forms and they are applying for the necessary searches off the council etc. The school are willing to keep the place for Ellis as long as another child doesnt move into the area in the meantime...and even if they do, they said they would contact us and give us the opportunity of travelling to and fro til we move, so it all seems to be falling into place so far. I'm too fightened it might go wrong again. Its soooo nerve racking.

Absolutely no news off my sister:confused3 . she hasnt answered any emails.. I think shes spoken to mom once. I'm sure she'll be intouch once she has the results and wants the hospital to suck my bones:eek:

Karen--just wanted to say congrats on all your house goings on!:cool1: Please don't think that you are boring us with house news. I love hearing about how things are going with you. Keep it coming, girl!:goodvibes

Thank you:hug: ---I am beginning to think of this thread as the "Karens lifestory" thread:rolleyes1 - you lot know more about me than some of my best friends:goodvibes - i feel like I know you all so well.

We abandon half our clothes anyway

Hope you fore warn your table mates that you will be only half dressed. :scared1:

I can relate to the strangers at the table. Our first cruise it was more like 7 nights of silence.

So Karen, are you saying you're concerned about how much of a bore your tablemates will be on the cruise?

P -3 post until 1,000.

Lol - that came out a bit wrong didnt it!

We wear and then we discard later might have been a better way to word it.:rotfl: There will be no stripping from us at the table:lmao:

It would be really awful to get stuck with boring or silent tablemates. Mind you, we're stuck in the "nut free zone" anyway:rolleyes1

Oh ROONEY we love you !!!

Chris looks like those tickets will be worth £10,000, after tonights performance !

For those of you over the pond, Man U played AC Milan tonight in the first leg of the semi finals of the European cup. We scored in the first 5 minutes, and I was dancing around, then milan scored twice and half time was a worrying time for us all. United came out fighting and took a fantastic equaliser!!!:) but best of all Wayne Rooney, scored an amazing winning goal in 91 minutes ( 1 minute after full time... and there was only 2mins of injury time to add on)
we went mad!

So so happy, think ive danced off a pound or two, for my weigh in on Friday! :thumbsup2

I have no idea what any of that means, but I offer you my congratulations anyway because you were all such good sports when I was doing all that playoff baseball talk last fall. ;)

Karen , perhaps if the kids get on well, we could meet on the late night buffet at pirates night, or grab a buffet one evening together. We dont mind being in a "nut free" zone !! ( Oh yikes............... im a bit nutty!, will Ellis be safe?:confused3 ........................ guess as long as he doesnr eat me, it will be fine !:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Sorry just so high on the footie score.................... off to txt our friends who are Liverpool supporters.................. checcky whats its txt us laughing, when we were 2- 1 down................ bet they arent so happy now.... see what they might face in the final, IF they get through !

Congratulations Man U. I can't even imagine how excited Chris is, I can't believe he got tickets for the finals.
We have our DVR set to record on ESPN if it was on.

Bet he is celebrating with a few of these

:drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

Lindy, no worries. Rob will be in his dress uniform and my kids and I will be dressed up, but that in no way should stop you from eating in the dining room with us. I think you and I will both agree that as long it is not Borat attire, it's all good!:hippie: Anyway, I predict that we will all be so excited to "visit" at dinner that we won't even notice what everyone is wearing...

Hi B how are you ????

Been busy at work?

Getting ready for your trip soon?

Hi Lindy! Yes...terrible busy time here at work... I am sneaking a couple of minutes to say hello.

Trying to get in some exercise in the month before we leave - it's getting close and we are so ready for a break. :thumbsup2

Right now I'm thinking of the best time to schedule a pedicure!

We also have another wedding this weekend...ever notice how weddings come in clusters? This is the third one we've been to since the end of January.

Hope everyone is doing well. :grouphug:
