Grilling out with the kids tonight (AFEG... find a smilie for that plz?...it must have a can-o-beer with it).

What time is dinner tonight Nancy? What are you serving? I can get there in 15 minutes. Let me know when the foods coming off the grill. :thumbsup2

Hope you enjoy the sunshine today. It is just a great day today here.

Amazing that I was up at 5:00 am as we FINALLY watched Pirates of the Caribbean/Dead Man's Chest last night.pirate: Good but very long.

How did you like the ending? I can't wait for PotC-At Worlds End. pirate:

I'm actually in the middle of watching it again. I watch a segment then turn it off (usually because DS comes in and we won't let him watch this one - he's seen "The Curse", but this one is a little too intense).

It was long, but seemed to go quickly.

Am I all alone on here?

Oh well, this post is my 960th on this thread. Maybe I'll post the next 3 pages and get up to 1,000. I can see the big Borat picture now. :lmao:

Hi everyone

Heres some piccies of todays parade.

Over 5000 Beavers, cubs and scouts turned up to parade through Bimringham city centre. Loads of roads were closed and they paraded through our "Main Street".

Heres St George - he started and led the parade

I think I have to watch the last 1/2 hr again because I closed my eyes close to the end. But I do believe they left it wide open for my boyfriend Jack to return. Not sure why Elizabeth was giving William the old evil eye either.

"Look! An undead Monkey"!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Karen, great pics! Ellis looks so sweet!

Post #1300 for me! :yay: I'm so easily amused...:rotfl2:

Spot Neil - black jumper - he was one side of the parade with one camera - I was the other with our other camera! We were determined to catch him on at least one photo.

it all ended at Centenary Square where they had a stage with bands, acts, celebrations

There were 5000 kids in one Square:eek:

They all waved St George flags and had a nice time.

It's over...

It's true... you can't post **** but you can post BEWB! You can post crap and hell but not ****... :confused3

Our firewall at work doesn't like the word breast - someone had forwarded an email about a breast cancer walk and the security system rejected it. Just to make a point Jay then sent me an email with nothing but the word breast written over and over again - something like 75 times. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

The IT guys called me about an hour later and said that my husband was a real comedian. ;)

I just thought I'd show you all a photo of my mother.....

Prepare yourselves.....

Karen, Your mommy is lovely! :rotfl2:

Remember back a few months ago when I asked you guys for suggestions for a gift basket for the kids? Today we went to Target and picked up about $45.00 (for each couple)worth of stuff to give them. That did include a $20.00 gift certificate though. They have an entire section of travel items and 3 oz bottles of shampoo, lotion etc. Now remember also that our "gentlemen" on this thread had a few other suggetions? I couldn't believe it!! Target had a "two pack" of these certain unmentionables in their travel section. Chuck and I were laughing so hard and loud that we had two women come over to see what we were laughing at. I guess they had to be KK's to understand the humor.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We took the kids out for dinner on Friday with the promise from them that we would decide on our excursions. We got back to our house and just all sat around and talked about everything but the cruise. I had our Passporter and a few PM's from Jeff & Brenda out on the table for discussion. All I got was the eye rollies:rolleyes: when I tried to bring it up. So, I decided the kids won't get their little gift bags until they talk about the excursions. They just think that mom will do all the planning and arranging and they can sit back and enjoy it all. What do they think this is??...a VACATION??:rotfl2:

Nancy, do they just not want to plan anything? Are they more the wing-it types?

And...do you still want to see the pic of that Coach purse I'm looking to unload?

Kristin is more of a fly by the seat of her pants type of gal, but Tony is the planner. I decided that I won't bring it up anymore. If they want to plan excursions they'll have to bring it up themselves.

And yes, I'd like to see the picture of your Coach.

My mom (Nancy) said I won't be an official member of the Conked Cruisers unless I post here.

So now I posted mom.

My advice, for what it's worth, is for you to plan for the Chuckster and yourself. I know they're your kids, but they're also adults - you have to remember that this is your vacation, too. So make sure that you don't miss out on something you and Chuck really want to do.

I have the pics - I just need to Jay to put them on the computer for me. :thumbsup2

Is this Kristin? Hi there!!!!!!!

I'm that goofball from Missouri who isn't even cruising any more, but I like everyone here so much that I still hang around and cause trouble. ;)

Your mom is terrific. Some day I'd like to discuss borrowing her for one of my family vacations! :goodvibes

I hope you have a great cruise - be sure to visit the Rainforest Room at the Spa...it's bliss!

Brenda

B, No that was Tony. He is supposed to be up at the Dells with Kristin, Jesse and Stacy. Nice to know he thinks of his mom while he's gone.
