Thank you everyone for the messages of congratulations for my weight loss. 4lbs isnt a lot I know, but I am really really pleased with myself :goodvibes :goodvibes and I know next week it will slow down a bit, as my body settles into a new routine.

Good Job Linda!! :yay:

and please you are welcome to kick my but if i'm getting sun burnt... I take it seriously too, thankfully not from first hand experience.

So glad to hear you survived it. My friends and I were so ignorant when it came to sunbathing when we were teens. We actuallly rubbed down with cooking oil! How stupid! Now that I have children, I have tried to be more diligent. My uncle lost his battle with skin cancer two years ago, so I am really careful now--probably still not as good as I should be though. So Nancy, feel free to remind me as many times as you wish when you see me on the trip. Sometimes our family gets so focused on getting to the fun stuff that we remember a little too late about sunscreen.:headache:

LindyLooHoo and Paige, I too was a quite crazy with tanning as a teenager. We used baby oil with iodine in it. Two hours on my back, then flipped over for two more hours on my tummy. EVERY DAY!!

So guess what everyone is getting for DIStag from me? ;) ;)

Brenda, just read your argle update. I never laughed so hard! The comment about the "foam"!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I almost pee'd my pants!:lmao:

FYI on the Argie Bargie for those of you who are interested - Victoria and Albert's covers three separate posts.

Now I'm hungry! :lmao:

The Argle was great! I'd also like to hear about your experience in NOLA sometime......

Have a great night all.

Nancy, if he was a body builder I would have bid more than £400 for him !;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We are all very glad my friend that you did survive, twice.....

Anyway, you can fake it from a bottle nowadays...... ( hold on is this time for a miss quote/pun/smutty remarks from Jeff or Chris ???:confused3 ;) )

Even when am in bed i get into trouble, anyways does Wayne know about you faking it?:rolleyes1 ,out the bottle i mean, some people minds:lmao:

Just had to share a little excitement...the second dress I ordered to wear to the chef's table arrived this evening and this time it fits quite well! I just need tp get the top taken in a bit (perhaps a new nickname could be bewbless mcgillI used bewb because the DIS thinks the properly spelled version is a bad word.** :lmao:

Anyhow, just thrilled that this dress fits - it's very pretty and a very flattering cut. Jason should like it very much! :thumbsup2

Brenda are you saying the dress shows off your womanly charms?:rolleyes1

ps...,MEMO TO JASON:DON'T FORGET TO SAY "THAT DRESS IS NICE DEAR"...

Brenda, just read your argle update. I never laughed so hard! The comment about the "foam"!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: I almost peed my pants!:lmao:

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Just make sure you don't pick up a cough before our DISS meet as you've already set me off singing "The yellow road of Texas" in my head....:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

ps...Can i just how much we enjoy your commercials while watching your TV over in the states..."my life was over until i found AXY142LKY pile cream now i look, feel and behave like am 21 again"....they kinda make you want to have piles don't they...... :rotfl2:

I can tell you it won't be the main lobby if Karen is behind you.

You're too new on this thread to make a comment here.

Sad, but probably true:lmao:

Would you like me better if I told you I'll update the Argie Bargie with Victoria & Albert's this evening?

Luv ya enwyay, ...but yes!:goodvibes

I think I will do well at this diet, as I have kind of "told" everyone and in a way, just saying it out aloud, and on here, has made me stick to it. If you know what I mean:confused3
.

Didnt work for me Lindy:lmao: I could shout it from the rooftops or announce it on live t.v. and it wouldnt make the darned bit of difference.:lmao:

O.K. Suz is sitting here and I'm going to make her answer these questions.

7. Hidden talents? If you ask DS, he will say she has eyes in the back of her head, but she says she can wiggle her ears.

Demonstation required at Dis-meet:goodvibes

10. Biggest pet peeve? You may flame her for this, but she says the DIS because I'm on it all the time.

My hubby agrees with Suz

Woo Hoo! - off to read:banana:

Oh my god! - thats fantastic - how romantic:love:

Wow, please post a couple of photos of the diver with his sign..I'd love to see them.

I wish so much we had pictures! Unfortunately since it was only the two of us we didn't, but Dave did give the video camera to one of the staff members so now we have this:

:) It's the best I can do lol. I was so overwhelmed at that point I don't think I took another picture the rest of the night... and I couldn't even eat my steak. David (our waiter) brought it to us, set it down in front of me... and I looked up at him then back down at the steak and said "I can't eat this" :lmao:

Oh! I wanted to show you guys... I (almost) finished one of our door signs tonight. :goodvibes I'm going to make several more, but this one will probably go right under the room number. I figure I'll put a picture of us at the wedding in the other frame!

What do you guys think for my first door sign? :)

Its a very slim chance, but why dont you put a thread on all the disney sites and forums that you can think of asking if anyone was dining at that time and took a picture?

I've seen threads on here asking if anyone took photos of a show that their son appeared in - its worth a chance. There are a lot of disney forums out there - someone might have that perfect photo for you.

Mind you - I'm sure you dont need a photo to remember that magical day.

I'm going to get my hubby to read your engagement story - he's not romantic in the least - does your hubby give lessons?:rotfl:

Thats great Liz! (do you prefer Liz or Elizabeth?)

How did you get the black negative photo thing round your photo? It looks brilliant.

I have gathered and printed loads off for our door signs but havent put anything together yet! I'm going to do one for each day - eg - Pirate night will have Mickey as a pirate, Formal - Mickey in a Tux, Castaway Day - Mickey on the beach etc. Should be fun!

Waynes not that romantic...... but I know he loves me still.

Morning Karen!:)

Liz Door signs are amazing.... I could never do anything that grand.... I keep it very simple.

Karen you show off, a day sign per day !:snooty: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Off to go the first of many parties today.... Elouise is Alice in Wonderland for this one! :)

Liz actually works better for me since that's what Dave calls me. The only ones that still call me Elizabeth are family members! :lmao:

The black negative frame is actually an option in Paint Shop Pro X... it's where I do all of my graphics at. I think I want to do a sign for me and a sign for Dave individually and then either a few more signs for different nights or a sign signaling us as DISers. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to graphics though... that one took me an hour, though it had a lot to do with color matching!

I actually did ask right afterwards if anyone was there, but unfortunately got no response. And it's obvious that people were taking pictures... we felt like superstars. And Dave's a super shy guy, so it was very out of character for him! But so romantic.

A very good morning to you Lindy Loo and everyone else in Dissland:grouphug:

Lindy - Karen you show off, a day sign per day !:snooty: :rotfl: :rotfl: - I know! - Neil thinks I'm mad:lmao: - dont even know if they'll all fit on the door! Theres always the inside of the door too!;) I might remove the previous days from the outside and transfer it to inside each day.

I'm in a great mood:banana:

I have been up since 5am, I've mowed the lawn, cleaned the house top to bottom, done the laundry, helped Ellis finish his homework, and done a viewing all by 10am.

They have made us a good offer! - really trying not to do the happy dance - oh s*d it - I'll just boogie a tiny bit:banana: . Cant get hold of Neil to tell him. . They seem like a lovely genuine couple too. First time buyers who can move pretty quickly with their mortgage in place already. Fingers crossed it works out this time.

Ellis has a party too but not til 4pm so we're off to the park and sweetie shop to celebrate the offer - I might just treat myself to a Ripple.

What a lovely day:dance3:

Have a great day everybody:wave2:

Come out, come out where ever you are.....Jeff,Brenda are you two holding out on us?.....

Hi Chris,

What I have done is waitlisted you for the category 1 or 2 suites on these sailings. Right now neither of these are available on either sail date. If they do come available they will contact e so that I can let you know the cost and give you the opportunity to secure the cabin.

I’ll let you know if I hear anything. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

Sue Ellen

Oh by the way - UK dissers -

Asda have kids nivea suncream and spray for £5 a 200ml bottle instead of the usual price of £10. All different factors.

One more thing bought and ticked off the list:thumbsup2

I also booked our Haven break for July via the Sun newspaper. Couldnt get into Devon Cliffs Lindy, but we have got one in Burnham on Sea. Dont care where it is - cheap and cheerful and fun for Ellis, and it keeps me going til the REAL holiday comes around:banana:

Good morning UKers!

Karen,

pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: Lots of "dust stuff" for your most recent offer!!:)

I also had a door magnet for each day last time we cruised. I posted them waaaaay back sometime. This time I had a very special DISer make me a few. I don't have those great graphics that others have and too computer dumb to know how to use it if I did. Fortuneately I can use some of them over again. :yay:

Liz, Your magnet is amazing. Good job girl!! I'll have to watch your video at work because I am still the only person I know who has dial up and it would take forever.:upsidedow

Also, Liz, we are playing Konked Kruiser DIStag on the cruise. If you'd like to play please see Post 5496 pg 367 for a run-down of the game. :)
