Jeff get your butt back here sir as without you here i fear for the safety and well-being of the little fat fella cowering in the corner.....Lindy loo we were robbed at pompey, bring on AC Roma i feel their in for one helluva a beating tomorrow night am going for 3/1 to my beloved united......As none of you tight cheeked people wish to contribute to the hiring of our very own "reporter" on this cruise (yes i did have someone in mind,a lady who has wit, charm a great sense of humour AND looks like she may scrub up well in her swimwear i was was even prepared to turn a blind eye to her excessive drinking:rolleyes1)i was just wondering how is the best way of keeping a report without leaving ones self open to any future libel action:rolleyes1

 Since you live so close to our daughter, maybe you could bring her with you.

If she's willing to sit next to a 5 and 8 year old, make silly faces at them, and pretend to be a superhero then she's more than welcome to come along!;)

Abby,
I would never fly in the day of the cruise, even if my flight is only an hour or whatever (mine is about 8 hours on two planes! ) just for the chance that they may lose my luggage! Imagine going on the cruise with no suitcase!!! :scared1: My luggage was lost once, coming home from Vegas. Thank goodness it was coming BACK, not going THERE! They accidentally sent it to Toronto and I didn't get it back for 7 days!!! How can you lose luggage for SEVEN days???? :rolleyes2
Anyway, it's up to you and you'll probably be fine, but I know I could never do it!! :rolleyes1

Seeing me in clothes with my blinding white skin is bad enough. I REALLY don't think anyone wants to see me naked. :scared1:

Seriously though, thanks for the input on our travel day. I e-mailed our travel agent. Getting down to Orlando is no problem. Getting home on Saturday is a different story. We can catch flights home no earlier than around 6pm. We don't want to wait until Sunday to come home because we need to time regroup back to reality. :sad1: I know there is a flight around 2pm but I think it is booked because now I can't find it. That's what I get for waiting. HA! To think, I used to be a travel agent so I know better! And is the Hyatt really $250.00 a night??? OK, I have one more question, can we request Disney to fly us in the night before? Or because we are a day-of-cruise-city, do we have to do it on our own? I bet anything that Disney has a block of seats on that 2pm flight home!

Oh contrar, monfrair..(sp??) I would gladly chip in a few pennies (quite a few) to secure our reporter, her DH and Mr Plankton, but isn't it you, fine sir, who hold in his hot little hands, a suite built for more than 5 KK's?:lmao:

How much extra to add 2 + 1/4 cruisers to your package? Count me in!:thumbsup2

PS..Glad to see our resident funny guy is back. Now we have to work on getting Jeff back.:yay:

And is the Hyatt really $250.00 a night???

Yup! That's why I said "Pricey but fantastic"!! A little ridiculous isn't it? In Oct 2005 I got our room for $169.00 with a AAA discount. This time around it would have been around $250 with the same discount. Another cruiser got the same room for $69.00 on Expedia, or something like that in 05.

I guess that's why we opted for Cocoa Beach instead. :)

Hello, I'm back. What have you all been upto in my absence......:confused3
Seen all those deleted posts by Mike. I take it that a few words were exchanged.

I will try to get a better one of her in her dress since you can't even see it in this one!!

Lovely photo Cass. She's really growing up to be a real heartbreaker.

Does anyone know when the Disney Easter Parade airs today?

Aired in the UK at 12.35pm and it's just finished. Sorry for the late alarm call.

In laws left this morning, so we got down the suitcases and started thinking seriously about packing for Alaska. Do we take two or three cases   Ho Hum, decisions decisions.

Heather

Cass - please post a larger photo of Kira in her easter ears:cutie:

Anyone watched you tube - there is a set of videos on there done by a disser on his oct 06 wdw holiday - they are really good!

If you search on here under Rich and Kristen you'll find them I think.

I'd love to be able to edit our movies. Hour after hour gets boring but these guys have added music, still photos, captions etc etc - they look soooo good. Geez - I have only just got used to putting a photo on here. I wouldnt know where to start:confused3

Heather, can you stop over in Monterey and pick me up? You will need that extra suitcase for me to stowaway in.:lmao:

Why would you need to stowaway from such a beautiful place? :confused3

Have any of you experienced cruisers rented a car in Coz? I asked on the cruise thread, but I was wondering if y'all had any opinions. Did I ask this already? Sorry if I did............

Did y'all have a nice Easter?

You're right, it is beautiful here. We had a glorious spring day yesterday. Today it is a little misty. To be honest, we have not been able to fully enjoy Monterey. Yes, we have done all the touristy things...mission tours, wine tasting, golf, etc., but the beautiful landscape has been lost on us. We came here from Okinawa, which was a tropical paradise, so Monterey had "big shoes to fill" in our eyes. Nonetheless, it is a nice place to live and there are definitely aspects of this area that we will miss.

Alaska just sounds wonderful to me. I am thinking that will be a trip for Rob and me when the kids are gone. It's a shame too, because we are here on the West coast, so it would be fairly easy to get there. Unfortunately Rob's schedule doesn't allow it. Bummer! Come June, we are headed back to the East coast, so I guess I will get into "battlefield tour" mode. And also we'll be closer to our "Happy Place.":)

:) Mike didn't delete anything. Jeff did. Words were not exchanged. Things just got misinterpreted. (Need to use those icons.) You know how it is on the boards.;) It happens.

We're fine. Sorry to say, evidently Jeff isn't.

Does anyone know where the best place to snorkel is. I want a colorful coral reef and a lot of fish.

Robin

Robin, I know it was great on that Captain Marvin's excursion in Grand Cayman. There were lots of colorful little fish, and we saw coral and saw an eel and a small shark too.
Of course, we've never snorkeled before so we don't have much to compare it to, but we thought it was terrific!

Is that the stingray snorkel?
