It's 9:30PM...Jay just spent the last 20 minutes hiccoughing after drinking a monster Fosters at the Outback Steakhouse...now he's just sleepy.

I was supposed to cook, clean, pay bills, and do the laundry tonight. Instead I stuffed my face at a restaurant and tossed back a couple of manhattens...now my face is numb!





So have a good weekend everyone because I think I'm out for the next two days - too much to do and not enough time to do it in.

Here's a question for any previous Western cruisers. Since our kids are more "fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants-type-of-vacationers", they would rather just get off the ship at Cozumel and Grand Cayman and see what there is to do rather than planning an excursion before hand.

Is this possible? Can we just get off the ship, walk a little ways away and find something to do? Kind of like Key West??

This is not something that someone with "APD" (anal-planning disorder) really wants to do, but I am the mom and I do aim to please.

Easter Greetings to you all.

Would like to meet with you all prior to the cruise, but we don't arrive till 18th and we have a full day celebrating Dave's birthday on 19th. We'll meet everyone at the terminal on 20th or on board.

We have Rick's Mum and Dad staying with us this weekend, so won't be posting very much this weekend as it's seems a bit rude to be on the Internet whilst they're here. Be back on Monday though.

SORRY!! Crap, what I MEANT to say was " I would love to have the meet on the 19th, but some people are staying at Cocoa (like us!) and some are staying at WDW!

Hey Cass, if you are serious about the 19th, maybe we can have a mini meet of our own in Cocoa Beach somewhere. I believe Paige is also going to be staying in Cocoa Beach on Friday night. She did mention that she thought she'd be pretty busy though. Maybe we can meet the disgrits at the Radisson Pool while her kids are swimming or something. Or, is that against hotel ethics? As of today we are at the Marriott but may switch over to Country Inn because it's cheaper and closer to the Port. (Thanks for the tip Jeff).

I also wouldn't be opposed to meeting with the earlier arrivals of KK's Friday evening at DTD. DTD is only about 45 minutes from the CB, right?

I don't know about the rest of the KK's as it seems our "Staying Before and After" link on Yahoo is rather incomplete.

Just a little food for thought.

BTW...good luck on the slide show. I'm sure it'll be great! I've already watched yours 4 times!

You will have no problem picking up an excursion when you get off the boat. There are TONS of guys out there selling tours. Only word of caution would be whether they are safe or not. I would make sure that any tour you do with them, the guide is with you the whole time. Don't want them to leave and not come back for you.

In Cozumel, they are right at the end of the pier. You can also find little shops right on the street there that do tours. If I remember correctly, Grand Cayman was the same way.

Maybe do some reviews online through tripadvisor or fodors (you can get their book too).

we dont know if we can meet before the cruise. not sure what day we are arriving. depends on when robin can get off work. they let her have friday off so we may try to fly out thurs night so we can go to wdw.
we drove down on our other cruises so we would have to check into how soon the disney buses roll out the morning of the cruise, because we want to get to terminal asap.
i know we will be at the park the sat we get off the ship then head home sun.its a lot of rushing around but well worth it. we are lucky robin was even able to get that week off as it is. although i have 6 weeks vacation so maybe ill just sent her home and hang around wdw for a week by myself. haha
it wouldnt be any fun without her.
just saw on laughingplace.com that mexico ride at epcot reopened and they have the video of the ride with new changes. they have included the 3 caballeros.

I would love to have a mini-meet in CC, but not sure if it's very plausible. Like you were saying, I think the hotels frown on having non-staying guests, especially in the pool area.

We tried the Radisson last time and I wasn't impressed at all. I think I would like to try a hotel on the beach this time, maybe the Doubletree, I've heard good things about that one.

BUT, yeah, if you want to drive the 45 mins to DTD on the Thursday, I would love to have a DIS meet that night!! I know that there are several of us that will be at WDW on Thursday!! Maybe we can all meet up for a quick sundae at Ghirardelli's or something!!

Anybody else up for that???

But if not, I am sure we will run into each other at the Terminal, since I am certain that all us DISgeeks will be the "early birds"!

Actually, last cruise we ran into dyerneeds BEFORE we even got into the terminal!! I was taking a photo of Rob outside the terminal with his Disney papers and wasn't paying attention to anything, then I heard this voice behind me saying "Are you Timon from the DISboards???" I turned around and saw Mike & Robin!!!

Rob was skimming the posts this morning (reading Jeff and Nancy's banter) and said "Boy, they are getting a little nasty huh?"

I had to explain that it was a good kind of nasty
