Yikes, princessmom, we would all be classed as "ADDICTS!" here !

Could think of worse things to be!

I feel so at home here..........................:surfweb: At least I know there are other people out there who understand my illness!!

Princessmom, any news on your daughters exams, and their timing for the cruise.

YES!!!! I got an e-mail back from the principal that the time off will be excused, it doesn't interfere with any testing, and we can request their homework prior to leaving but it has to be turned in upon their return. As I told my DH, I have it in black and white from the horses mouth, so to speak. A gorgeous horse at that, but don't tell DH I said that!

Hey, I'm no longer a multi-quote virgin! Thanks Brenda for the enlightenment!

Nancy-
Great news about DS and DD! I hope your mom feels better quickly. Thank goodness the accident wasn't any worse.

Paige-
The best of luck to your dad during his surgery. Don't forget to take care of yourself too while you are there. Get plenty of rest and if you do gain weight then that just means you are eating! That's a good thing during a stressful time!

That's great news - I'm happy that you won't have to change your vacation plans.

Enlightenment, huh? Wait until I pass that along to Jay tonight... ;)

The thought of me enlightening anyone with computer-techno-internet information will have my husband like this: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Just tell him I'm blonde and easily enlightened. That'll explain it for him. :teeth:

Evening all! Whew, just caught up on about 15 pages.

Hooray Elouise! She looks so serious and determined in the photos. No one is messing with her, that's for sure!

Best wishes to Nancy & her mom. Best wishes to Paige and her Dad.

Jeff - glad to see you posting around here again! Not so glad to see that green suit again though!

Cass - love the photos of Kira. My reaction to the one where she's sticking her legs through the rails was the same as Jeff's. It really brought back memories!

Glad to have this weekend off. I alternate Saturdays with my co-worker. Talking about going to the local mall. Nothing too drastic. But the girls love to "go shopping!"

Don't forget, we change times this weekend. Jump an hour ahead, and lose an hour of sleep! Boo!

AFEG.....I was just catching up on Brenda's trippie and noticed your post about swapping memoriblia. Rob wants me to ask you if there is anything in particular you are looking for. He used to belong to the 6th Marine Regiment, and they wore the French Fourragere on their uniforms. Is this something you would be interested in? Or if there is anything else that you think he can get here in the States, just let us know. He would be happy to try to get it. Once we move to Virginia, we will have access to the new Marine Corps museum, which I hear is very nice. Just let me know.:)

Hey, it's 12:20 a.m. here (6:20 a.m. UK time) - Where are my UK Friends?

I'm going to bed. Catch you all later today.

Good morning everyone.

Paige - best wishes for your Dad and yourself. Hope things go well. With regards to your offer to Chris re uniform etc.... I would like a 6foot tall blond haired, well built and georgous marine and soldier please;) ;) - 1 to fetch me wine and cheesecake and one to feed it to me and keep me occupied:rotfl: - do you think Rob could manage that? - I'll be happy to pay your excess baggage allowance if they're too heavy:lmao:

Jeff - sorry I missed you. I was up - been up half the night comforting Ellis - he had a bad dream that his hamster was dead and it took me 3 hours to convince him he wasnt. Mind you - I havent seen him in 2 days:eek:

Well, its Friday - Neil is home tonight and off for 2 whole days - luxury:goodvibes . We plan to do loads of things - but we'll probably all just end up sleeping most of it - we're all so knackered!

Have a great friday everyone.:thumbsup2

Jeff - I'm here, had my porridge and ready to go.

Paige - wishing your dad luck for his surgery. I know what you're going through. Rick had to heart surgery some years ago. It's a testing time. But you'll get through it.

Speak to you all later, no doubt.

Heather
