Hey, you guys are at the bottom of page 1.

Here's a little nudge to move you up.

Thanks Jeff - I notcied that it seemed very quiet tonight but I've been argling, bargling, and gargling so I was unable to bump us.

For those of you who are interested I finally managed to finish Day 3. Things should start picking up a bit from here because now my parents will be on the scene. :lmao:

Yeah, it has been quiet. Where's the Old Lady lately?

Has she been on your TR report?

BTW Brenda, how am I going to catch up to you if you keep posting here? :confused3

I'm doing my best to fend off Karen and Nancy.

I've not seen much of Nancy this week - it is my turn to worry about her.

As for keeping up with me...I've been cheating at work this week. Things are really starting to pick up again, though, and I'm still considering a new job opportunity as well. I'll probably have to end the dual posting for a while and try to finish up that trippie before May, otherwise I really will go nuts.

Congrats to Elouise!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Terra Nova tests are standardized tests. I think some states still administer the Iowa tests. DoD schools do Terra Novas. Some people don't believe it, but they score quite high, too.

Have a good night, all. Things are getting busy at my house. I am running around like a chicken with my head cut off, trying to get my house clean before I leave for Louisiana, packing for my DS11 for Science Camp all next week, and buying birthday gifts for the 2 birthday parties DS7 is attending while I am gone. I have not a boring life as of late, but I still manage to save some time for daydreaming about my happy place!!!!:cloud9: GET ME TO THAT SHIP!!:rotfl:

OK everyone the dust stuff worked!!!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Elouise had to wait over an hour and watch others grade, however she did really good and passed her first kick boxing grading, she is now a purple belt!!

WELL DONE ELOUISE:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Good start to the day - just had a stand up row in the street:rolleyes1

We live opposite Ellis' school. For months now the school have been telling parents off in the weekly newsletter for parking on the zigzags, on the island by the school etc etc. Well, today was the last straw.... a woman had parked on the zigzags but facing the opposite direction! - about 20 cars were at a standstill because of her- (cant find the really angry smilie so this one will have to do:mad: )

The cars then who had parked legally in the car park couldnt go anywhere cos the other cars had blocked their exit.

My friends son the opther day nearly got run over cos someone actually pulled straight onto the pavement at the school entrance to let her kid out and only just missed my friends little boy.

To cut a long story short she called me an "interferring racist b*tch and asked me if I had nothing better to do than shout at people in the morning!"

Lovely!

I want to move house........Oh wait a minute......we're trying to:rolleyes1

Anyway, I'm off to the gym soon to bun off my anger. I'll just imagine her head is on the punchbag;) - that should burn a few calories.

Karen, I know how you feel, we have a similar problem with our school. There isnt much parking and its by local houses, and the residents get all fed up when Mums get to park 30 mins BEFORE school ends, just to get a space! But I think " good for you" to say something to the person parked incorrectly...... it might shame them in to not doing it again ......... we have too much of an "ignore it " culture.

Paige I ve lost the plot, where are you going ?

Jeff thanks for the bump !:thumbsup2

Morning Karen and Heather................... hope you are both well today?

Brenda, I was wondering about Nancy, however I got a PM the other day, so she is "around"! :)
Loving the trippie !:cool1:

Karen am i right in thinking the "lady" in question was of a different culture?.....

ps..Sorry Karen, Hazel made me remove my "advice" on dealing with unpleasant "lady's"...."YOU CAN'T SAY THAT:scared1::scared1:"

Karen am i right in thinking the "lady" in question was of a different culture?.....

ps...Not that i condone violence of any kind BUT if the said lady "steps forward" again three stiff fingers to the higher throat area works a treat:rolleyes1

Elouise could come on over and beat the crap out of her! BTW, way to go Elouise!! I bet she feels a sense of empowerment!

Do we have a cat burglar on are cruise?.....what time is it ABBY?...:rotfl2:

LOL! It is almost 6am here. I usually get up at 5:30 and get my computer fix before work. Last week at work we were handed employee care brochures on computer addiction. After answering yes to the first 5 questions I put the darn thing down..............

I am soooooooo sorry, :worship: :worship: :worship: please let me make ammends and say " Good afternoon" to you ! :)

Friends..............????

Yikes, princessmom, we would all be classed as "ADDICTS!" here !

Could think of worse things to be!

I'm OK kids!!:rotfl2: No need to worry about me.

I've been pretty busy with my mom and an accident she had last week. I think she'll be ok, but a few health issues have been coming up for her.

Now...here's some good news. A little bragging rights:

DD Kristin (DISname: "Team Fun Pants", not yet sigined on) has just landed an internship in Interior Design at a major company in Milwaukee. They interviewed 4 other students and chose her after one interview!! She starts in 2 weeks and best of all, it's a paid position. She thought she would only get a few college credits instead. So now she gets the credits and a paycheck. She's really excited but nervous at the same time.

And...DS Tony (DISname: ST Cruisers..also not yet signed on) finally booked the reception hall this week. I guess it's all really happening now. They changed the date to April 12th next year rather than May because everything is cheaper in April. More money for the cruise that way too.

So, since Jeff is afraid that my butt may be catching up to me, I'd better hop on my bike again.

Later all,
The "old" one.:rotfl2:
