October 2018 or Easter 2019?

Hi! We are deciding between the week of October 14, 2018 or Easter week 2019. I know Easter week is always packed, but I'm wondering if that is the case when Easter is very late? - in 2019 it's not til the 21st. Would this week in April still be as crowded? We've already been twice in October and it's nice, but wouldn't mind going another time of year just for something different. This will be the last time we go with our kids before our son starts high school

It will still be crowded due to the number of schools that time break to Easter. I think Easter week and October are getting pretty similar for crowd levels, though.

Even schools that don't time their April break to easter have a set April break. Most k-12 schools in New England are typically on april break either the week with the 3rd monday (patriots day/boston marathon day) or the following week. (there are some oddballs that do a march break, but those districts are few and far between).

That being said, I would guess that the weekend days (good friday through easter monday) are more crowded than the weekdays. But crowds are relative to everyone...nothing will ever be as crowded to me as the one year I went around new years.
