October 2015 half term

Could anyone please advise me of when this is as I've got my finger on the book holiday button but my local council doesn't have their dates up yet?

If your council is anything like mine then it will be very similar dates to this years October half term.

Can you ring them? Seems odd not to have them.

Ours has them for the next 3 years I think.

yeah i could ring them but they wont be open until september now. just wanted a good idea so i can get my plans rolling and give the parents of the other children we are taking a roundabout date.

as soon as they open i'll see if they have them. i asked on facebook and even friends who are teachers dont know yet.

The local authority will be open over summer - they can confirm the dates for your area. I know school sometimes vary slightly by tagging an inset day on but they will be able to tell you the week.

Checked ours and it has 2015/2016 on.

they should be on the schools website - not the council.
(though they are often just a section etc.)

but schools do vary by a week or two - that said october one is pretty consistent - as is christmas (odd that one!!)

its easter that sends things all over the shop.

I know we have ours for all of next year and the following year (with insets not confirmed) - we also had to check SAT dates so we made sure we were going after all the work is done - going may half term - plus some days after - which is in the trips and partys season.

I just googled our local council term dates and it brought them up

Ours go up to summer 2016

yeah yeah stop rubbing it in. i've tried the college website and the local authority and neither of them have 2015/2016 yet. i will try ringing them tomorrow as i didnt realise they would be open.
