Looking for ideas of budget savings for our upcoming Halloween Trip. No kids, just kids at heart. Looking for free or fairly cheap things to do around the parks and or the Orlando area.

I don't think that you will find a lot of free things to do in the area. Getting tourists to spend money is what travel destinations are all about! But there are a lot of inexpensive things that you can do if you have a car.

Downtown Disney can be fun if you are disciplined and find enjoyment in window shopping and just browsing stores.

International Drive has a number of attractions and stores. Just riding the trolley can be an adventure in people-watching!

Mousesavers.com has an entire section of free and cheap things to do in Orlando. You might want to check it out.

Every trip DH and I want to check out the other resorts and we never have enough time. We would love to take a night and walk around the Boardwalk. We hear there is a lot to do there.

I second the resort hopping idea. My DBF and I spent an evening riding the monorail from Epcot to MK and then around the MK resorts hopping off at each and checking out the sights. Had a good time listening to the band at the GF and watching the waterfall at the Poly. Managed to catch the water electric pageant and the fireworks will we there too.

Other thoughts include a day at DTD or maybe mini golfing. If you are going to Universal, you could check out Citywalk and their mini golf.

Sometimes an afternoon at your resort/hotel is fun too.
