39 days til Florida, 41 days til we check in at Pop! Getting super excited. And I've got another vacation in between! (DH and I are taking our first vacation alone in almost 7 years up to Michigan's Upper Peninsula/Mackinac Island)

I'm going to add hopping onto our one day DHS tickets so we can hop over to Magic Kingdom around 6 and stay at MK until 11. It was worth the $40/ticket.

I keep trying to justify adding on another day's ticket, too, so we can spend the earlier part of the day before MNSSHP at a park, but it adds SO much to the cost, and while it would be nice to go to Epcot, DD18 isn't a huge fan and it's not worth the extra day's cost plus the increased cost of hopping on the 21st.

So 4-12 at MK on the 20th, 8:30-5:30 or so at DHS on the 21st, then 6ish-11 at MK, then up for 1900 Park Fare breakfast on the 22nd and then DTD until we have to meet DME home. It's a short trip, but it was an unexpected trip, too, so I'll take it

Getting super excited. I just know the minute I get back from the UP I'm going to start packing my Disney bags even though we'll still have almost 3 weeks to go.

Glow with the Show Ears are coming to DW October 15 (Hollywood Studios) and other shows October 19! This will be awesome! Although WDW News Today (@WDWNT) says Ears will not be available with the ability to sync with Illuminations. Went to a concert a few weeks ago that had an app you could download that would sync the flashing of your phone screen with one of the songs in the concert. Really neat looking.

I just started to realize how fast it's coming! So far this week I bought the kiddos' luggage, harnesses (just incase), air pressure plugs and activities for the plane. Still have to order their birthday cakes, not sure how far in advanced I need to do that. Starting to get excited!!

Everyone might want to recheck park hours, it looks like a lot of days around the 19th-26th are being extended. Now instead of closing at 9 with 11pm EMH on the 21st, Magic Kingdom is open til 12 with EMH til 2am! Yay! Reports of other extended hours on non-party days, too. Might effect people's plans.

Thank you so much for the heads up...our dates are from 10/1-10/9 and a couple of our days have later hours....one of which is our MK day which was originally opened until 11pm now it is opened until 1am .

Earlier today I ran across park hour changes on 10/13 (MK EMH moved from 9-11pm to 1-3am)!! BIG change! Can't wait 13 days and counting...

I just check park hours for the whole week and the thing that I was most afraid of didn't happen! I was worried that they would add an extra hour in the morning on certain days. We have our first pre park ADR on Fri. Oct. 25 and I was afraid that the MK would open at 8 that day.

extended hours! Maybe we will takeadvantage of this, we always tend to go all day and into the evening. We never spend time at the resort and enjoy the pool, maybe time for a change?! We plan to upgrade to hoppers!

So excited. We will be there the 12th-20th! It is a belated honeymoon/2 year anniversary trip. Just me and my husband.

12th: arrive, 8:15PM Garden Grove
13th: Parks, 8:05pm dinner at Narccoosses for electrical water pageant and fireworks viewing.
14th: Seaworld! We booked the Beluga encounter, all day dining, and quick queue . Jiko @ 735 for dinner.
15th: anniversary! MK, 5:15 Spirit of Aloha dinner show, 830pm private wishes cruise on the lagoon
16th: Downtown Disney, Characters In Flight Balloon, 5:15pm Fultons Crab House, Cirque Du Soleil
17th: day at the resort, MNSSHP at night!We are going as Cinderella & prince charming. 520PM ADR at Crystal Palace!
18th: Blizzard Beach, maybe epcot for a lunch break, universal citywalk and Margaritaville for dinner.
19th: parks, 7:35pm ressie for Cali Grill to watch the fireworks.
20th: back to reality

I'm super excited! Still trying to score a pre park opening breakfast, so fingers crossed. Not too much notice for the trip, just found out his leave got approved about a week ago, but I'm okay with that this is the trip 2 years in the making and I am READY!

Okay, got our 10/21 plans a bit more solidified (It's our only other day in the parks other than MNSSHP on the 20th)

Rope drop at DHS, ride as much as we can between 8:30 and 12.
Meet Stitch during his 12-12:20 appearance (so really, we'll be over there by like 11:45, but whatever)

Hop to Epcot, lunch at Teppan Edo, maybe stick around WS for a little while if there's something we want to look at/buy/whatever.

Hop back to DHS to head over to the Animation Building to meet Ralph and Vanellope, Mr. Incredible & Frozone and Sorcerer Mickey.

Try to catch Mike & Sully during their 3:40-5:20 appearance.

Split something at Pizza Planet since DD18 HAS to eat there, and then head over to Magic Kingdom for EMH til 2am.

...and then we have 10am ressies at 1900 Park Fare. I think we'll be cabbing that so we can leave as late as possible.
