My guess is yes, its too early as wishes is scheduled at 9:00 PM most nights in October. I hope you checked the WDW theme park operating hours before booked this reservation. There are some nights in October when Wishes is not performed.

Yes thank you i did check.:goodvibes Ive had the calendar up as I plan. Its been bit difficult planning around it actually. I hear the poly is nice to walk around and explore? We are not people that like to rush we are from Charleston SC lol and we have a 3 year old.:rotfl: I heard the poly is fun to just kinda look around and explore? I thought we could eat look around and shop then find a spot early on the beach. How long does dinner at ohana typically take? We are staying at bonnet creek so this is our way of checking out the resorts :) Iam stil finalizing adrs with husband since it is his birthday :rolleyes1 Looking forward to some constructive criticism :teacher:

:welcome: That is awesome to be going for 11 days!!

Yes It it awesome and im so thankful. Thats the calendar I have been using so hopefully im on the right track. I have been going to disney since i was little however I didnt start doing any planning until I had children and this is by far my longest trip. We went back in March and stayed at Floridays for my daughters first trip. We got a 3 bedroom and my mother came a long to stay with my daughter so we could have some adult time at the parks . my mother loves the chance to see her due to her living out of town. We just had an amazing time! We had illuminations views at La Ha and sipped champagne around the world. :lovestruc We booked our trip in oct the week we got back.
Anywho this time we are staying at Wyndham bonnet creek 3 bdrm pres sweeeeet!! :rotfl: . I got for the same price as floridays would have been. very cool anyway gotta finish these adrs stay tuned popcorn::

idnt get the exact times but pretty close. Let me know if something doesnt look good. Thanks guys

Looks good, but I always find bus service to DTD to be horrible. Instead of taking the bus from AK to CBR (or DHS to POP), you may want to take a bus to Saratoga Springs. From there you can walk over to DTD or take the boat. You could also take the boat from POR or POFQ.

Add us to the list! Just booked our house rental for Oct. 20-28 and just bought 5 day park hopper tix. and are attending the Homeschool Days Chimpanzee program on Oct. 25th WOO-HOO!!!!

So we're looking at leaving the 10/19 for the long drive down arriving late afternoon/early evening on 10/20.

Sun. 10/21-MK & MNSSHP?
Mon. 10/22-EPCOT 9-9
Tues. 10/23-HS 9-8
Wed. 10/24-Manatee swim 2 hours away or MK for MSEP?
Thurs. 10/25-AK(have to be there by 8:20) 8:20-5
Fri. 10/26-MK & MNSSHP or manatee swim?
Sat. 10/27-rest/DTD
Sun. 10/28 head home on Autotrain(hopefully)

Trying to decide if we should do 2nd Mk day Wed. so we can catch MSEP or not. If we do NOT due MNSSHP then we will have to do MK on Wed.
I can change the manatee day to any day that week as they are not booked up as of yet. BUT I'm trying not to have a late night the night before Homeschool Day at AK as we must be there by 8:20 ish. Now we are always early risers but after a few days we do get tired and it's harder to get the kids up in the morning. We are def. rope-drop people! I wish I could get a rest day in the middle there somewhere but do to what days are recommended and such it won't work out.

We are not looking to do Fantasmic(ds is still afraid of firework) so I chose Tues. as that is the only day without it. Now like I said we never had park-hoppers before so we can hop if need be. I had to get hoppers now as we can not upgrade to that with the tix. we have once we get there.

Our kids will be 13, 10 and 5. I know they will be chomping at the bit to go to MK, as last year when we went we only had 1 day at MK and it was more crowded than any other time we had gone(saw at least 10 tour groups) and we missed several rides including HM and POTC, even though we were there before rope-drop and toured commando! It was insane!

If we do our 1st park day as MK and then do MNSSHP that night I'm thinking we should have plenty of energy, and if need be we can take an afternoon break around 1 and come back at 5.(we'll only be a 10 minute drive away). We would probably only stay til 10 ish as my youngest tuckers out by then, although the past 2 years he did fall asleep in the stroller right before Wishes. If that happens we can stay later if the older 2 kids are up to it. They've always asked to do MNSSHP but we have always been lacking the finances to do so...hoping we can afford tix. this year or it may not even be an option. Just trying to plan ahead with hopes we can go(this would be the only time spent with the in-laws at the parks as well). I wonder if the MNSSHP tix. will sell out for 10/21...I would love to be able to wait to purchase them until we actually get there and see how everyone is doing after the long drive. Plus I'm afraid the MNSSHP on Fri. 10/26 will be more crowded. I just wish we had an extra day to play around with for this trip but since my oldest will be in 8th grade I don't want to take him out more days then we have already planned.

Hi!!! Hope I'm not too late to be added to the list!

We (we would be just DD12 and myself) are going to be in the World for 20 nights!!! October 23-November 12! We are going for Homeschool days, F&W, a couple more Y.E.S. classes, MNSSHP and hopefully...MVMCP, too! Because we are going to be there so long, DD and I will be doing some voluntouring at GKTW a few times as well! :woohoo: REALLY excited about that! :)

We will be at FW, THE most peaceful place in the entire World. Halloween is going to be awesome there!! :goodvibes

I haven't made any ADRs yet or any plans other than our dates of staying, class days and GKTW days, but I will be soon. We don't do the DP and do a mix of eating at camp, hopping to resorts and nice sit down meals. DD has a big say in places we eat, so I let her help plan the ADRs. I am crossing my fingers and wishing on a star nightly that Be our Guest will be opening up while we are there. My oldest DD will turn 18 on one of our days, she is going to fly down for a few days and join us so we can celebrate (MNSSHP and Wishes desert party), and there is a possibility that DH will come down with her for a few days so he can do F&W and celebrate her birthday, too. (DS is going into the Navy soon. We don't know his schedule yet and don't know if he will be with us or not. Fingers crossed he gets a few days, too!) :)

I love October at WDW....Can. Not. Wait! :beach:

I have been considering garden grill. Ever been?

I have been considering garden grill. Ever been?

We did Garden Grill 2 trips ago for the 1st time and it was ok. We were up on the top tier and my kids(nor I) could not see the LWTL ride and were disappointed. The food was good, nothing spectacular. I really think they should charge differing rates depending on what tier of the restaurant you are on. It was hard to visit with the characters as there was like no room whatsoever. Got pix. but there's always an empty chair or something in the shot too.

On a different note, just booked Via Napoil for Mon. Oct. 22!:cool1:

Woop! We just booked our October trip last night. Today is going to be ADR day - I'm late in the game, but we almost came with extended family and they just don't understand the 180+9 rule!! They didn't understand why we needed to know if they were coming NOW! :rotfl2:

Yes my mother thinks im some kinda nut booking dining reservation this far in advance. My husband did also until he saw that he waited around on some of his choices and didnt get it. He just couldnt believe it  hehehe

ADRs done!!!!

Now I am waiting for the MNSSHP tickets....

I also would like either free dining or room discount so I can upgrade :)

YAY!!!! 180 days until vacation!!!!

So YUMMY!:thumbsup2

So we have only eaten at a few TS meals in our trips. What is a do-not-miss TS that is not too expensive???

Thats does look yummy!!!! Thanks for the pic. Very happy with that decision. We normally dont do this many pricey dining places. However we had our 10 year ann this year and didnt do too much so we could plan for a nicer disney trip. Plus its my husbands 31st birthday. So we are kinda going all out on this one :)) I would have stayed on property but i just couldnt see paying that much for a 2-3 bedroom. We like having space and mother comes along.

I was thinking of trying MNSSHP. Though I was thinking my daughter may be a bit small as she just turned 3. I hear it get super crowded. :grouphug: Any thoughts?
