***October 2012 Thread*** MNSSHP + Food & Wine - Does It Get Any Better?

OK My ADR date is MONDAY! I'm pretty sure I've got my plans down....but I have the weekend to obsess over it a little more!

AND......I now have EXACTLY 6 MONTHS until our trip!!!!!!!!

And YAY for the facebook October group!

Would anyone be interested in joining a October 2011 DISer's page on Facebook? I've seen other people here on the boards mention FB pages for May and June... thought it might be a fun way for the October gang to share pictures, info, etc...

The Wishes Dessert Party would be something fun, if you're looking for a special event to do! I surprised my mom with that last year for her birthday... it was fun, we loved the desserts and having a place to sit and watch the fireworks was fabulous!

Thanks Shannon. This year my husband is celebrating a milestone birthday and we are celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary, so I suspect that we will get both buttons. Thanks for the idea about the dessert party, I'll look into that further.

On Wednesday our group is splitting up, with my girlfriend and I going to Tony's and my sister and her husband going to Le Ceillier.

Right now we are planning Tuesday for our MNSSHP night. Our alternative date would be Friday but they tend to be heavier crowds and it would be closer to Halloween too (the 26th). DD will be Rapunzel and I'll be Mother Gothel. Not sure what my BFF and her god-daughter are planning but I'm sure there will be a princess involved.

We're planning on attending tues the 16th. My costume is captain hook ( hopefully I can pull it off, I'm a girl so i'm going for a "cute" captain hook), . my mom is going to be Peter pan, and my uncle will be smee. I can't wait!

We're planning on going on Halloween night I don't know if that's the smartest thing, but we're going to brave it!
DD wants to be hula Lilo and DS is thinking Jedi. I'm not sure what DH or I will be yet.

Roam the woods of Fort Wilderness on a 25-minute Haunted Carriage Ride while hearing the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow."

Can accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults with 3 children ages 9 and under.

Price: $60 per carriage

October 1- November 1, 2011
Rides at 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 , 10:30 PM


Three carriages available for each ride time.

This ride leaves from the Blacksmith Shop at Fort Wilderness.

This excursion can be booked up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.

As for MNSSHP tickets, I've heard that they go on sale May 1, with party dates officially released sometime in mid-late April.

We're arriving on the 29th, and I was hoping to go to the one on the 31st, but that might be too so I'm not sure if that's the one I want to try for now or not...but I really want to go on the haunted carriage ride as well (now if the November hours would just come out, I'd really be able to start planning )

For the last week and a half of October it says that the Magic Kingdom closes at 7pm on 10/21, 10/23, 10/25, 10/26, 10/28, 10/30, 10/31.

Does that mean that MNSSHP will take place on all those nights?

Oct 4 - ADR: Rainforest Cafe for lunch
Oct 5 - ADR: Crystal Palace breakfast before park opens!!!!
Oct 6 - ADR: Planet Hollywood for lunch!

Subscribing! Thanks for letting me join the FB page there are 10 of us heading to disneyworld September 28- October 6. We will be running the TOT 10 miler I cannot wait to book my ADR's on Tuesday. I was hoping that the MNSSHP dates would have been announced prior, guess I'll just take a wild guess really hoping to try Le Ceilier this time.
