You'll love Tangled! You might even become one of Flynn Riders big fans. There are a lot of them on the boards :rotfl:

We have settled on October 14th through the 21st. Crossing my fingers for a good deal so we can stay at the Beachclub!

You knew this was coming.....

Are you ready for it?

Tangled was SO cute!! :thumbsup2 We had doritos and pepsi and I bought them all sprinkle donuts today! :) It was fun. While the credits rolled we had a "living room dance party" lol....my 13 quickly retreated to the basement. You can add me to the list for October 2012 (there is one things that would prevent us from going but we're moving forward anyway)

It'll be my 7th time to WDW but the first in October and first year to attend MNSSHP :woohoo: It will be though, my boyfriend's first time to WDW; it also makes it my second trip in a row with a first timer!

We're planning on October 24th to the 30th but the dates might change slightly. We're also planning on staying at Wilderness Lodge but I have this urge to try staying at the Yacht Club since I want to take advantage of Food and Wine as much as possible (but I am in love with WL so I'm very torn... the BF just wants me to be happy do he doesn't care where we stay :lovestruc)

The current plan is to see where we are after the holidays and get dates set in stone and book early 2012.

Yay for your 1 year mark!
Today at 5pm my VACATION begins. This is just a week off with the hubby to get some things done around the house, take DS to the zoo and go to the local fall fest but I am excited!!:cool1:

I'm off all next week too. I'm moving on Sunday so I took the week off to unpack and get settled...and watch hockey since my team is in Sweden and the games are on at 1pm. :rotfl:

Even though I know it's still a long way off, it's nice to see my ticker no longer reads '1 year.' :woohoo:

I looked at the hours for this October to get an idea for next October. It looks like there will be a MNSSHP the night we get in. I think I'm definitely going to plan on doing that so we can snack on our candy the rest of the week. Is it weird I have all my park days and restaurants pretty much planned out already? :rotfl:

I'm taking 2 (possibly 4) newbies next year. I've talked up the F & W so much two other couples have decided to join us next year. This is the first year in the last 4 that I have not gone to WDW for the festival. :headache
We're looking at mid to later Oct (hopefully free dining) and staying at either the Pop or POR-FQ with the meal plan.
See you all there.

We will be there on Oct 4-14 Yay for being a teacher at Fall Break. I am celebrating no more cancer treatment for now!!!! I had to have radiation all summer and I am (fingers crossed) done!!!!

After I finished radiation this past September. I went on a Disney cruise. I have 4 chemos left and I'm planning another cruise and trip to WDW for 2012.
As Dory said "just keep swimming"

No, I've started planning restaurants already too! Which ones are you thinking of? I'd love to know what everyone else is planning as I don't want to miss something special!

Anyone have experience at the Carribean Beach Resort? Would you prefer to stay there or at Pop Century? :confused3

I have, but that was in 2001 so hopefully someone will have more recent experiences to help you! I did love the Carribean Beach Resort, thought the whole place was beautiful and I would have been more than happy to stay there again. We were torn between Carribean Beach Resort and Port Orleans for this trip...we ended up booking Port Orleans Riverside (my husband's never been to WDW so we've booked to stay in POR because it will be new to both of us). However I've never been to Pop so ca't really say what it's like.

I guess it depends what you want from your resort? Our travel agent is doing an offer that if you book a moderate or above resort you got the Disney Dining plan for free, so for us we didn't even think of going to a value resort as it made more sense to send that little bit more on the hotel room and get all the food for free. But if you only want a room for sleeping, showering and then out I'm sure any resort would be fine. Maybe it comes down to how much time you think you'll spend in the resort?

On this day next year DH and I will be packed, he will be sleeping since he's driving first and I will be curled on the couch, anxiously watching the clock and waiting for 2 AM to roll around. :surfweb:
