Do you think anything would apply to BC? I'm doubtful since it's all booked up over our dates. Poo!

If there is nothing available at rack rate for your dates, you won't have any availability under a discount. My dates are 10/5-9 at BC. There is tons of availability at both YC and BC at rack rate, but nothing under the AP discount at YC, and only Water/Pool View and Standard View-Club at BC.

Still, I hope you get what you want.

I just found out my DH has not been checking his junk mail ugh Men!

Too bad looks like our dates will be blacked out for the snail mail offer if those are the dates they are sending out

Actually, I'm not sure. I called, gave the CM my name and reservation numbers, and I told him I was told to ask about a PIN or discount. He said, "Let me see," put me on hold briefly, and said, "Well, you paid $X, but I can save you some money, and he quoted me a new price, and sent me a refund. Then he realized he could save me a bit more, and ordered a second refund, much smaller, but still.

Thanks. We're going after you and there's nothing at BC. I'm hoping since it's the FD blackout some people will switch weeks and something will come out. I'm doubtful but can still hold out hope.

not sure if you knew about it, Shades of Green is a really nice, disney owned but not pure disney military only hotel. We've stayed there before. Super nice, but not themed, just like any other regular hotel. BUT its super cheap. For my dad whose a civilian employee of the Air Force (but he's a vet with no vet privileges.. don't get him started on that) we were at 100 a night or so. rates depend on your rank.

I know its not exactly a WL but its cheap and could save some money for use in the parks... which is why my parents loved it so much. They could spring for fancier dinners OOP

Has anyone seen any type of discounts for the week of OCT 16th or is it a complete blackout? I know they have a big convention going on and that most of the hotels are booked but just curious. I really wanted to go that week but when the FD offer came out last week, I went ahead & booked for Dec. Still wish I could swing OCT!

The AP room only isn't blacked out. GP probably wont be blacked out either. Though I wouldn't necessarily expect availability for the discounts at the Epcot resorts that week. Elsewhere might be ok though.
