Did someone say Alamo at MCO doesn't have a standard aisle?
that is correct - you will receive a full size

Try contract code 5504500. I found that gave me a mid-size emerald aisle for $157 for 9 days starting 9/25.
go back thru the last few pages of the thread, several have been listed you need to plug them in for your dates to see if they'll work
even though i was tired after driving back from Cedar Pointi made sure to check my rental car ressies
my alamo droppped againto $159xx for 8 days, midsize beginning 10/1 (7014667 - insiders - & ad2359fdf - american airlines). This is approx $30 less than i paid last year same time span for FS with national. my national res that hasn't changed in ages is now over $100 more, still hoping it drops though
That's awesome... our Alamo rental is $366xx for 10 days, midsize beginning 10/5 (using same codes). And you're right, our National rental is about $100 more than that
I really really hope the rates go down
, maybe this week they'll drop. Alamo was high until last week for my res beginning on 10/1my alamo droppped againto $159xx for 8 days, midsize beginning 10/1 (7014667 - insiders - & ad2359fdf - american airlines). Do I have to have an American Airlines coupon to present to use AD2359FDF?

Gave it a try, it's giving me the same rate as my Amex code. I actually tried a bunch from a list I have, and the majority of them gave me that rate.
I'll keep trying, since it seems that the lowest rates are for the week or two before my dates right now. If it doesn't go down, I'm ok with that rate.

Thanks!! I have an AAdvantage number but wasnt able to find that coupon anywhere! I've added my AA number to my Alamo account so hopefully that will be all it takes!!
Again - thanks so much Keishashadow!
Do you have a backup reservation? Car Rental Savers: http://www.carrentalsavers.com/florida-car-rental.html shows a Full Size car for $24 per day plus taxes ($157 with everything). It's not a horrible price and it's a place to start.I have been bidding for a car through Priceline for over a week now for our trip 10/7-10/11, bidding anywhere between $15 and $20 a day and coming up with nothing. I think it's the Friday night pick-up that's killing me, and the real killer is that we don't arrive at MCO until 11:30pm... practically Saturday!

After watching my itinerary for awhile, last night I posted the first posting on this page, right after trying both Orbitz and Priceline, with no luck... same price online as it has been (around $200 for a midsize), and no luck with Priceline
. This morning I checked Orbitz and found I can get a midsize for $24.36 a day, so I booked a midsize at Dollar for $138.
I know it's still expensive, compared to booking for a week, but I can LIVE with this ressie. I'll keep trying, but now I can stop whining!
I got a full size rental from Budget on Priceline the other day for 10/8 - 10/16
I bid $12/day and got it on the first try, total $169.64. Hope this helps someone![]()
I named my own price on priceline yesterday and got a mini van for $20 per day plus tax.
