Not to put a damper on your plans, but October didn't have a single "quiet" weekend this past year with the big hype about the "Halloweentime" promotion with the special fireworks, HMH, Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy, etc. Plus, a lot of schools in AZ or UT have "Fall break" during the second weekend.

Just a fair warning.

It seems to me we went closer to Halloween a couple years ago, and I would have called that weekend quiet. Fall break... we don't really get that. We get Thur-Fri off for some private school convention. So, that's when we might go. Or, we'll just head to my mom's in AZ for some sun. Decisions decisions!

Yes, a couple years ago October was a pretty quiet month. However, just this last year, it was not uncommon for DL to close due to capacity on several days, mostly weekends.

That's nuts!!! I didn't look last year, did they extend hours?? We are so used to going when most nights everything is closed by 9! Hmmm.... think, think, think...

This October was incredibly busy, moreso than in years past. If you look back through threads from October, you wil see many, many reports of a very busy Park.

But... why make this change your plans? Go. Plan. Have funn! (That's my style anyway.)
