We're staying at the Poly in February and hoping to "bounce back" in October. We'll see what kind of deal they offer us.

Another newbie has arrived!

Hey everyone. We're under the year mark!~ So excited for my first trip back to WDW since I was a little kid Our package is already booked over next Halloween. We're at the Contemporary in the Tower-MK view!

Yay! Lots of people for October planning! Woohoo! As I mentioned earlier, I got a PIN for 20% off. Like another poster said on another thread, I had saved an itinerary and then a week later got this PIN! So, go save an itinerary on WDW's website!

Of course, the PIN only worked for the day AFTER we arrived, so I had to switch up my plans a little. I now have TWO itineraries mapped out, just in case a code comes out that is better than my 20%, so I can go back to my other dates! I am CRAZY!!!!!

Joining too, we are going Oct. 15-21 over our kids' fall break. Right now planning on staying at Yacht or Beach.

I am really, really hoping for some kind of code. Every year we've gone, we have just missed out date wise. Except last year when the one day I didn't check the boards the codes came out so all Poly rooms were gone by the time I called.

OOOO OOOO OOOO Me Too..Im In for October 2009!!!!

We usually go every spring break and spend Easter in the world..since we are planning to go for my birthday we aren't going for easter in 2009 ..that means over a whole year without disneyworld..(how does one make it through?)
this past easter for the first time i payed for my parents and i to go to disney for the week with the deluxe dinning plan, plane tickets and everything!! It was so much fun to surprise my parents with that. My mom was so excited but my dad can either take or leave disney(i know ..how can i be related to him huh? )Im proud to say he had an awsome time..he even admited it was much more than he had expected!!!(go me,go me! )

AAANNNNYYYWWHHHOOO-October 25, 2009 will be my 25 birthday and I really want to spend it at my favorite place on earth...Disney! I am planning to go for about a week with my parents and my best friend. My parents have said they would help to front a lot of the cost for my birthday present!!!!!!

We are planning on our Disneymoon October 14-24, so my fingers are super crossed for a WL code. I know that pins are usually blacked out these dates, but a girl can hope, right? At least maybe for a few of the days...

Does anyone know if there is anything special that goes on the 1st week or so of Oct, that might keep any deals/codes from coming up?
I really need something to take the sting out of the cost of our stay. I figure if it's normally a slower week, we may luck out. At least I can hope!

I don't think so. It's usually a "lower crowd" month. You can check out mousesavers.com to see historical discounts. Usually plenty of stuff for October!
