October 2009 at AKV

We're planning on going to AKV late October, but I can't call to make our reservation for a 1 bdrm until next month. From looking at the Resort Reservation Ability board, October "looks" to be wide open, but I'm sure that's too good to be true.

So I guess what I'm wondering is has anyone made their reservations for AKV for October yet? If so, what type of room and when?

I called last week and booked a Dedicated 2BR Standard View at Kidani for Oct 11-17th. I got the impression from the MS rep that it was wide open as far as availability because we were looking at both dedicated 2BRs and 1BR + separate studio for some folks traveling with us. When we asked about both the rep said everything was available for those dates so it was up to us.

The kids have a couple days off from school for teacher workdays that week so naturally we used it as an excuse to head to Disney again

That's good to hear! We're planning on meeting my in-laws down there. They have a conference to go to at the Swan and Dolphin so we figured that we would go down and meet up with them since we haven't seen them in 3 years. Plus, we're hoping to take the kids to the MNSSHP. I'm crossing my fingers that we won't have issues booking a 1 bdrm.

Anyone else make any reservations yet?

Hadn't planned on a trip this year, but are going to do a long weekend (I just couldn't miss a year of F&W!) Just called this week and booked a 2BR Kidani, standard view, for Oct 8th-12th. No value 2BR available. Our first trip to our new home!!

We are on a long weekend October 15-18th. Booked with NO problems at all for Kidani Village in a studio.

Got AKV Studio CL for the dates of Oct. 23-Oct. 29.

We have Oct 22-24. We are doing 4 nights on the Wonder first. I hope the Haloween Party will be going on while we are there!

We are staying at AKV October 10-19th. Kidani village the 13th-19th but we have to stay in Jambo house the 10th-12th because there was no savannah view studios available.
