What are typical deals that are offered for October?
How is the weather in Oct?
How are the crowds?

Is it better to go in October (looking at 10/5-10/12) or end of September (9/21-9/27).

I don't know if it's worth it to go in Sept for free dining, but the weather isn't as good, right?

Any suggestions?

If I was to choose I would take the September dates as your October dates go into Columbus Day weekend (the busiest time in October). I avoid all holidays. If you go in September, then you need to watch for the free dinning if offered in 2008. Since your September and October dates are so close to one another, hurricane season is an issue for both timeframes.

When we went in October of 2005 on our honeymoon, the crowds were a bit heavy, right around Halloween, but all-in-all not too bad. Certainly not nearly as bad as when we went in April of this year. The weather was pretty good too. We are going again in October of 2008. I figure if we had good luck once, hopefully we will again.
