October 2008 code watch

We have finally settled on our dates for our family reunion. There will be 11 of us, Oct 10-19. We have been waiting for months for my sister's kids' school calendar to be released for next year. We are able to overlap short weeks for both school districts.

I have not yet made ressies, but it doesn't sound like there is anything out there yet for our dates. I think we are going to get 3 rooms at POR with AAA discount and keep our fingers crossed for discounts. I have been looking at villa options and ft wilderness cabins as well, but these options seem much more expensive, even though we would only need two units. Is there something I am missing?

Our group consists of DH and myself, Dsis and BIL, our mom and 5 kids between 11 and 17.

I got a 20% off code in the mail yesterday! We were pretty iffy on actually going this October, but I'm pretty sure Disney just sealed the deal for us!

Congrats! I think that instead of sending out very few 40% they are expanding their promotions by sending 20% 30% and 40% so they can entice more folks.

I got a 20%. I think because I ordered the DVD, but I never received any mail or email. I had to call and ask about it. They CMs have said they are sending out another wave of codes for the fall.

I ordered the DVD again this year (we got one last year when we started planning this trip), but no codes yet! I just called CRO half an hour ago to check and, alas, no code for us (yet!)

However, if a code or deal does come up, I know my awesome travel agent will snag it for us anyway

We'll be at Pop Oct 25-Nov 1. A code would be nice, but we do have a AAA discount, so it's better than nothing
