I know this is about 430 days away for us, but I can't wait to go back! We are going the week of October 21st 2007. Is anyone going at this time? I still have not booked any resorts yet, but leaning toward POR. I DO have our park tickets since I bought them through Ticketmania before prices went up! Just want to see if any other Dis'ers are going at the same time as me!! Have never been that time of year, so am pretty excited about it! :confused3

We are going the first week in October!! We are booked at AKL

Me Me Me!!!! I haven't booked yet, but it will be in the beginning, as my AP will expire Oct 20. I am almost positive I am staying at POR. It was the very first Disney resort I stayed at, 10yrs ago. So it holds some extra special happy memories. :cloud9:

I just told my TA to book me at POR October 14-19.

Gosh, I can't believe that I am planning another trip to Disney, when I am going this October too! Got to get my money's worth out of that AP! :goodvibes

We're planning on Sept 27-Oct 6 2007- at POFQ! OUr first trip ever!!!! (well, my DH and MIL went 20 yrs ago). Just waiting on MIL and FIL final decisions to book!

We are! DH and I are going with my best friend and her husband. We will be at The Swan from Oct 12-20th.

I haven't booked it yet, but we are definitely going. We're still working on the dates but are going the very end of Oct into 1st week of November. We want to do MNSSHP and F&W fest! Woohoo! Can't wait for it. I think we got everyone in the immediate family going again too, should be interesting. :teeth:

I am glad to see there are other DIS'ers who are going next year also! It seems like such a long time away, but it will come up fast for us! Anyone else want to join on the October 2007 train????

We are also going the week of October 21, 2007!!! We can't wait! My Dh and I just took a trip just the two of us, last month. Next year we plan on going longer, for a week and take our daughter princess: who will be 18 months on the trip! We think our parents, siblings and their spouses will be coming with us too! It will be a family trip! :Pinkbounc  We will be staying at Shades of Green! We have a whole year to wait though. :guilty:

:wave2: :wave2: Me me me me me!!!!! We'll be going Oct 23 next year and we can't wait! We're staying at the Beach Club from Oct 23-28 and then going on the 4 day cruise Oct 28 - Nov 1.

DH and I went for 2 weeks for our honeymoon 4 years ago (1 week on land and 1 week on the cruise) and went back 2 years ago. This will be our kids' VERY first Disney trip EVER! We are soooo excited and can't wait!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

DD will be almsot 4 (her bday is in Nov) and DS will have just turned 2 when we go. DS has severe multiple food allergies so we're a bit nervous about that, but I've been told Disney is great with allergies.

anyway, for those of you staying at POFQ, that's wehre we stayed on our honeymoon and it's gorgeous!!!

If all goes as I hope that it will, I have plans to arrive on October 27th at POR. It's my dream 40 year birthday trip and I was hoping to talk Gabby into staying at my dream resort, AKL.....but after we crunched the numbers, I think that I would rather have AP's and a good chance at a short stay at AKL in 2008. This will be our longest WDW stay at 8 nights. We hope to take in lots of stuff at the F&W festival, including Party for the Senses. I think we are even going to go to MNSSHP again, mostly so that we can dress up as the guys from American Choppers. Gabby's big event during the trip, is a chance to learn how to surf, which has been a life long dream for her. My big event is of course counting down to the big 4-O. On my birthday, my wish is to sleep in, go to breakfast at Kona, hopefully Beverly will still be working there, since she is a wicked awesome CM. After Kona, I wanna spend the day enjoying pixie dust with Gabby and to end the day on a proper note, I want to see Wishes! Now, if the Dream Team wants to give me a DVC membership too, that would be totally ok with me! :thumbsup2

I can't wait! Maggie

I just talked my DH into a trip in October 2007 (not sure of exact dates yet!). I am leaning towards the 14th thru the 19th.

I used the Food and Wine Festival as the selling point!!

Do y'all think it will have similar dates in 2007. I hate to book now and find out it doesn't...

I think we are going to go "cheap" and stay at a Value resort. (not that anything in Disney is Cheap!) We stayed at the Contemporary in Aug of this year.

Hope to see some of you there!!!!

As I was taking my kids trick or treating on Tues (for the first time ever) I kept thinking that this itme nex year we'll be celebrating Halloween on the Disney cruise!!!!

We just booked for Sept 28-Oct 5,2007! We've been talking about it since our Disney cruise in Dec 2005! I can't wait! It'll be DS (5) first trip - at least that he can remember - he was 8 months old last time! And hopefully DD(9) will finally be over her fear of ALL characters! We're staying at PORS (that may not be the right acronym I'm still trying to get the hang of those - it's like learning a foreign language  )

We started a "Disney Fund" - it's a very large mason jar with Disney stickers all over it. The plan is to take the money we manage not to "waste" each week and put it in there. For example when we don't go through the drive thru on the way home because it's easier and kids want the newest happy meal "junk" but go home and eat PB&J - whatever we save goes in the jar. I'm letting the kids make some of those decisions too - might as well make it a learning experience for them too. And it's working! We went to Disney on Ice and they wanted the $10 cotton candy (not exagerating that's what they cost) and I asked if they wanted that or to put money in the Disney jar and they picked the jar and politely told the vendor they didn't need any because they were going to Disney! I was very proud of them!

Good for your kids! That is a great idea, to teach them the value of money! I should start doing that with my kids also! We do have a Disney fund, but it is money that I put in there from my substitute teaching. Maybe I can get my kids involved by doing what you are! Awesome!!! :thumbsup2

We're planning on being at Pop Century, 9/30/07 - 10/10/07, depending on the possibility of free dining. If they don't offer that, we'll only be there until the 8th. :)

Me! my oldest son and I are going for the Food and Wine Festival...he won't have a lot of vacation left from work so we're only going from the 25th-29th. We plan on doing the MNSSHP and one of the tours...trying to decide which one, probably Keys to the Kingdom since neither of us have been on that one...we also have never been together...the first time we went he was already out on his own, and he's been three times with his family...this is a mother-son trip and I am looking forward to it!
